Continued to get worse and the following Tuesday I was running a temp between 100 and 104.  Made another appt on that Friday and explained symptoms were getting worse another BRIEF exam I was told take OTC. No additional script. It would work it's self out.  Sunday symptoms were not improving so I called to and the PA for meds.   I was told she would call back.  I called a second time and was told she would call but probably not till tomorrow. Never received a call At 8:30 I went to another urgent care. They did a thorough exam inc X-rays and determined I had early Pneumonia.  Obviously I won't be back.  I was charged 2 deductible's.  Wouldn't be a big deal except I had no relief from their exams.

He had to call and apparently they did a mistake. It was from 3 years ago but it was paid. Even if he had one I think it's negligence to still not see him. That's something that shouldn't be deny. Anyways they take forever to see you here, once the doctor did come in he was nice and was able to help and figure out what he had. Thankfully he's feeling better today but still not my favorite clinic.

I went to my PCP and they said there was nothing they could do...go home. Well, 10 days later, I'm STILL sick, and they have no appointments in the next month. So, I made sure MedPost took my insurance and came here. I was in and out very quickly. Dr. Quenstedt was caring, knowledgeable, and thorough. She sent in a prescription, and I was on my way in no time. I ended up having to go back after a week because I felt better for a few days, then right back sick. I was lucky enough to see Dr. Quenstedt again, and this time, there was no snafu with the pharmacy, and I am feeling almost back to my usual self now! I definitely recommend MedPost for a speedy recovery when you're not feeling well or injured. Just a tip...be sure they have your correct info (DOB) if a prescription is called in. It caused me a lot of frustration to figure out the disconnect between MedPost and the pharmacy.

Then found out that I waited 3 freaking weeks to be seen because my appointment was canceled because I didn't have the MRI DISK in my hand the DAY BEFORE my appointment- even tho I was going to get my MRI's down that day. To top it off I was told by the Ortho doctor - that surgery most likely wouldn't be an option even for the grade of separation of my shoulder because I'm not a 35 year or younger MALE because MALES do more heavy lifting jobs - WHAT??!! She didn't even ask me what I do for work!!! The kicker - female doctor! So because I'm not a Male and YOUNGER THAN 35 I don't deserve the option of surgery to fix my separated shoulder!!! I've been trying to see this in any way that would not make this "ER" look as terrible as it is. I have been unsuccessful. I'll make this as short as possible. My wife went in for severe stomach pain around midnight. She searched ER and this place was closest. They even have an EMERGENCY ROOM sign. She was placed in a room, nurse asked a few questions, then was left alone. A biller or front desk lady came in and said they know what it likely is but needed $800 before they could even say what she was paying for. She took my wife's cc (while shes crying in pain) and left. Card declined 3 times so she came in and asked for another. Baffled as to why an emergency room was holding life saving information hostage behind a paywall, I gave her the address to the actual hospital when she called me asking for $800, in pain, panicking, and sobbing. My wife left and drove to Christus Santa Rosa. There we learned her appendix was about to rupture. She had surgery that same morning. Something we paid for with heartfelt thanks. This Urgent Care let my wife leave without recommending she immediately go to the hospital, or asking if they could call someone, or helping in any way. If they would have done even that much i would not be writing this now. For all they care she could've died in the parking lot. We understand this is a business. They may have improved in the 5 years since this took place but I wont be risking my family here. This is a place you go to when your Dr. is unavailable. This is not a place to go if you're in an actual emergency.

The nurse practitioner, Henry Salinas was professional, courteous, and possessed excellent bedside manner. The staff performed their respective jobs but lacked a welcoming approach. My child even picked up on the differential behavior. Pediatric offices are usually inviting, lively, plays music or television, and decorated with color. This environment was sterile. Hopefully this location can restructure its organization, leadership, etc., and change the service to be on board with it's counterparts.
