I prefer not to write 1 star reviews but sometimes ..... like when the digital wait list takes you from 8 minutes to 15 minutes. No person to check you in. Super easy. Walked in, checked In on the tablet on the front desk and was out of there within 10 mins! Very nice people too.

All of those people who gave bad reviews clearly didn't pay any attention to 3 important facts you need to know when you have to come here: 1. There is an extremely easy self-check-in tablet waiting for you at the front desk. Instructions & signage are crystal clear--the only excuse to not know how to do it is if you're illiterate. 2. There was only ONE restroom, which will naturally lengthen the time it takes to collect a urine sample. 3. There are 3 or 4 exam rooms...so that tells you that the maximum # of people they can draw blood from at any given time is 3-4. Now for my review...I waited less than 5 min & they were very courteous. Phlebotomist had no trouble drawing blood. A woman in the next room over commented that the last time she was here it was on the same day at the same time (Wed @ 08:30 & there was a whole waiting room full of people ahead of her at that time. Her phlebotomist then responded that wait times vary so wildly that they don't really have a pattern of peak vs non-peak times or days. The waiting is small, but clean. No-one greets you when you walk in but that is specifically because there is no receptionist to do check-ins. The lack of receptionist would probably make it impossible to get a hold of this place by phone, but MyQuest & the website in general is pretty easy to use to schedule an appt. read more

Very friendly and I almost always get in and out quickly. Their staff is very friendly and efficient and their system is well suited to getting your paperwork processed and your blood drawn quickly. (That is what I have gone in for.) One suggestion, if you go early, make sure and get there right at 8:00 because a lot of people show up right at 8:00 a.m. so you may end of waiting a while. read more

I had a simple but urgent question about getting copies of my labs taken in the past year to give to a doctor different than the one who ordered them, and discovered there is absolutely no way to get anything other than a recorded message by telephoning this location -- no way to speak to the office staff. Now I will have to drive there and wait for attention... My insurance companies pay this lab lots of money and I can't even get a telephone answered. What gives? Makes me think the staff might not be treated so great either -- as does the generally low rating at this location. read more

The absolute worse place ever on Sonoma ave. They jab u with needles, they take too long getting ur results to ur doctor and u can't even get a hold of them on the phone and their bathroom is dirty read more

my husband waited 2 hours and their fax machine never got his orders. we had to leave and go to dr office for labs they gave us wrong fax number and then their machine always rang as busy we will never go again read more

I went to Quest after making an appointment on-line, a few days ago. The earliest morning appointment I could get was at 10:30, which meant I needed to "fast" until then, in order to obtain the fasting glucose listed on my primary care doctor's ordered lab screens. When I found the lab, there was no parking available close to the office - even though the office is located right in the middle of a parking lot. The outside of the office was surrounded with a large number of people milling around the doors, resembling a homeless encampment. After walking back from where I needed to park, I then went into the crowded lab office, where there was no receptionist or other human to help. Every chair was taken with mask-wearing customers. There was a computer screen to sign in, but I was now 10 minutes late for the appointment by the time I figured out how to use it. The computer told me I had missed my time slot, and therefore would need to wait as a "drop-in". There were at least 50 people waiting, and there did not seem to be any possibility I would be getting my blood drawn. I left. This lab did not seem like the same place I have used in the past. Overcrowded. Inadequate personnel without even someone for the front office to talk with consumers. Slow service with an inordinate wait time. Find another lab. read more

I can not state strongly enough how very unprofessional this lab is! After a nearly 50 wait, no decor in the waiting room and listening to the two girls at the front desk horsing around, then loose my paperwork after I handed it to her, I finally get called back. The gentleman who drew my blood wreaked of cigarette smoke so badly that I had to hold my breath and change my clothes when I got home. He seemed very nervous, & couldn't find my kit. He was nice enough, but I will NEVER go back there again and will tell my ordering physcian to never send me there ever! This place needs an inspection and supervision. I had to go here twice within a week for a drug test. This facility wasn't as bad as it could've been. My first wait was 30 minutes. 2nd visit was in & out! i was amazed. however, the reason for my rating was because between the time i left my sample, til the time it got to the "lab", my sample got messed up the first time. So, i waited a week only to find out i had to do it, AGAIN! so, it's now becoming an inconvenience because i needed to find a sitter for my kids! it's been 7 days since i left a 2nd sample & still no word! i can't afford to be waiting for my test because this is for pre-employment & this is the only thing that's holding me from closing the deal with my potential employer. :-( read more

Had a blood draw scheduled here, after reading other reviews of Quest I was afraid I'd be stabbed with a rusty nail and left at the curb. But no, Quest was as good as other labs I've been to. Checked in with the tablet up front, easy. Had an appointment, and overhead screen showed a countdown to my appointment. Was seen by tech right on schedule. Tech was great - fast and efficient, and I'm not a big fan of needles. Thanks read more

This is the worst place ever. Went there with no appt. 30 minute wait . as patients arrived the wait time went up to 65 minutes, then 75 minutes. We left. Made an appt for the following day. Went there was told that my name was not on that scheduled time. I needed a confirmation number. Left again. Made an appt again obtaining a confirmation number. Went there the next day at appt time WITH confirmation number. Was told my name was not in the time slot, showed my confirmation number and it didnt matter. Male receptionist didnt check my number just bluntly said your name is not here, someone else has that appt time and that was that. This is a terrible system and the receptionist showed no interest in offering any resolution. Really bad service. Do not recommend this place! read more

Marcel was awesome! It was a very quick visit definitely a good experience for my first time getting blood work done!

This is the 2nd time I have used this facility and the last. On May 14,2012,@ approx 8:30am, I had my blood drawn, I was told the results would be ready the following day, in the morning. On Friday, May 18th, I called my drs office and they did not have the results. I called the Main Lab and was told this: once your blood work is completed, it goes to the main lab, in Sacramento, then it is processed and depending on what test it is, it could take 48 hours-72 hours for the results, and if it is sent out to a sister lab, it could take a week for the results. My doctors office called on 5/18, and the results were sent to them. The last appointment, the doctors office had to call Quest for my results. I have lost faith in the process and lack of. There is a problem here, the process. Not the employees. In talking with Quest Representive, my blood work would take 72 hours from when they received it on May 15th. My results were ready on Friday, yet they did not send them out until my doctors office called them. read more
