Terrible. I went to Napa Labcorp first- needed my drug test for my new employment, system was down so she sent me to Santa Rosa. Went to the Santa Rosa office, lady told me at 10:30am the doctor or whoever went to lunch and it will be an hour. Came back at 11:30 and she said it will be another hour, she just went to lunch!! Now I have been waiting 2 hours- honestly 3 hours from the commute to Napa to Santa Rosa to get a pee test!!! I have to hold my pee for 3+ hours, for their terrible customer service. I feel for Labcorp employees. Owners are closing outpatient locations which leads to overwork at remaining locations, sick-outs by overworked employees, and delays for those of us whose docs continue to send us to labcorp for needed tests. More outpatient testing labs are desperately needed in Santa Rosa. Local hospitals and docs need to step up their games! read more

Gentleman at the front desk was very polite and professional (only reason I added two extra stars to the 1 star). However, the white woman at the front desk was half asleep and very rude back to back to multiple customers including myself. I understand it's early in the morning, but if you hate customer service and early mornings, maybe consider a different field. Labs especially for employment can be tasking as is, at least have your front line employees be courteous. Luckily the woman ended up stepping away everyone was audibly flustered from her tone and cadence. Do better! read more

Our experience with an older female lab tech with long hair and glasses was very unpleasant, the morning of 6/28/2025 (suite 112). They were not busy at all yet my partner was still treated very abruptly. They did not use proper clean technique, and without warning slapped their arm unnecessarily hard during the process as part of their "method". The other staff has been nice, but avoid this employee if possible. read more

This lab is the prime example what is wrong with with healthcare industry in the US and A. It's a total garbage place with 2-4 hours of eating time with appointment!!! There is no privacy ( it's the law!!!) this amateur s talking about you privet health information and problems in front of everyone in the waiting room. I made an appt but even so, they were 15 minutes late. When asked why the employees said they are understaffed and too big a workload. Lab Corp closed an office on Mendocino Ave and they need to reopen and get more staff. Too many patients and not enough employees leads to errors and blood work is too important to have that happen. read more

I went to Labcor at 1100 Sonoma Ave in SR for the first time. Checked in and a technician came to get me from the waiting room in less than 10 minutes. PSJH closed their labs so this was my first experience at Lab Corp. I have serious and egregious personal issues but attempting to get my lab work done. When I walked in, sign in is automated with computers, which I'm not a fan of and find it impersonal. I felt frustrated with this new procedure and although I have a loud voice, I wasn't yelling nor used epithets (swear words) The woman at the counter, Theresa, chastised me instead of asking if I need assistance. She was confrontational and rude. I get that I was unpleasant but Theresa demonstrated the exact opposite of customer service unless chastising a customer is Lab Corp's end goal. And by the way, I had a witty exchange with the gentleman signing in next to me while Theresa who is the same age as myself was being snotty. I know that this is not her first complaint. Theresa escalates rather than de-escalates a situation, which will put your entire Labor at risk if she actually encounters an aggressive personality rather than a woman who is merely frustrated. PS: they had to scan my insurance card anyway so find the tech a little over rated. The phlebotomist was super sweet, though. read more

Once again, a terrible experience at this Labcorp location. I have submitted a second complaint with Labcorp, although I don't expect them to do anything about it. When I submitted my first complaint, I spoke with someone on the phone and put it in writing and someone was supposed to follow up with me and never did and I was never able to reach them again. Terrible experience #2: While waiting to be called back, other patients were checking in. They started making racist jokes about the doctor who ordered the tests such as"Two Wongs don't make a right" and whether they were in the right or "Wong" place. The male lab technician checking them in started adding to the racist jokes. He told a story about someone going to court with a judge who had the surname "Wong." The end of the story was that the judge said, "You've said the Wong thing to the Wong judge at the Wong time." Completely unacceptable. You can't control if patients are racist. You can control how you respond to racism. You can intervene. You definitely should not add to the racism and create a hostile climate within the lab. It was the same lab technician who did my blood draw as I had had a bad experience with the other one last time. I had to choose between a tech who was very unprofessional last time, whom I had already submitted a complaint about, and a racist lab technician who also hurt me while doing my labs and made me feel very unsafe in the environment. Uncool Labcorp. Get it together. I will never go to that lab again. I was hoping that I could have a different experience. I have a call in to patient relations at Providence/Memorial Hospital to inform them of my experiences in the lab onsite at their hospital. read more

I had an lab drawing visit today and meet the best phlebotomy technician. Sherry was knowledgeable, accurate and very very good. If you are a hard stick, tiny veins or get nauseous before or after your blood draw, request Sherry. I left feeling great and didn't even feel the stick or any symptoms that I usually feel after my lab draws. Thank you Sherry you are great at what you do. I will be sure to request you if I ever need lab services in the future. read more

I've been coming to the Sonoma Ave location for years now. With a background in medical offices, I feel this office desperately needs an onsite manager. They get very overwhelmed, they are typically not polite or give you a nice greeting when you come in, the technicians, although skilled, are usually not friendly. It's clear that the staff do not enjoy their jobs at this location. I've always been patient, even with over 40 minute wait times and kind, trying to understand the employees point of view but I think many people leave this office with a negative experience much more than a positive. Someone needs to be there to not only help them but to be an example of good customer service and organization. Hope this review helps get them the help they need. read more

I have tried Lab Corp on a few occasions. There is a self check in counter where you scan your Driver's License and all info is automatically populated on their system. The staff is helpful, place is tidy. Will recommend trying. read more

This unabashedly the most "adulting" review I've likely ever posted. Be a smart consumer! I have a PPO plan, I can go where I want for lab services. Last time I needed lab work I went to a Sutter facility and it cost me over $200 for a panel. At that time I had an HSA plan which means the service was subject to deductible before any coinsurance or copay was applicable. My current plan the same service is subject to deductible first but the structure is technically different so I wasn't sure if it would be the $200+ or something less for this test. I decided to go to Labcorp since I knew from my last go round that I was told by my insurance company it would be cheaper if I had gone here first. No joke, my test yesterday was $2.28. I have NOT met my deductible, unbelievable. I could rant about the nonsense of our insurance system but what's the point, we all know it sucks. Be a smart consumer. Do your homework and pay attention to your cost of care cause no one else will. The facility is accessible, you can make an appointment (even same day), friendly service, easy parking, no complaints. read more

Made an appointment, showed up early, scanned my ID. Sat and waited 33 min. Asked when I'd be called. They said "Oh, this draw room isn't on the system." They were clueless as to why not. Some of the phlebotomists are good, some are the worst I've had. One stuck me 5 times only to be successful at the spot I told her to use in the beginning. Labcorp is another top-heavy, bloated corp that does the bare minimum and doesn't hire enough help. Many, if not most employees are looking for better jobs. Too busy. Takes forever most of the time even though there was 3 people. They need a better process to get the paperwork done quickly in the beginning so the people can get the back and drawn. Maybe if they hired somebody to be in front to just do the check in and paperwork so the lab tech can just focus on the labs. read more

Horrible! They have closed locations everywhere that look open when you look on yelp. I was repeatedly given the wrong hours for testing. I probably wasted 4 hours this week driving around to different lab corps that were either closed or told me that they stopped drug testing at 1 pm when I called the number earlier and said they text until 3. When you leave a phone number and expect a return call the same and don't receive one you have to ask yourself if the business is staffed by a bunch of lazy workers. I have used this lab for pre employment drug testing. Super fast and easy, you check in on a tablet then they call you back to complete collection. Facility could use a little update/face lift. Staff is sweet and efficient I recommend using this site if you need to use LabCorp. read more

My husband and I made our first visit to the Sonoma Ave Labcorp today to have blood drawn. The staff was jovial and attentive. When we found out our doctor's office had not faxed my orders yesterday as promised, the Labcorp team went into high gear, calling my doctor's office repeatedly to get the info they needed so I wouldn't have to wait too long. I was impressed with their efforts to advocate for me, sensitive to the fact I had been fasting. They finally got what they needed, immediately drew my blood and sent me on my way. It was evident these employees truly function as a team and seemed to enjoy being there with one another. What a great work environment, benefiting each of them as well as the patients they support. We will definitely be using this lab again in the future! read more

Apparently appointments are meaningless, but I did get plenty of stink eye from the receptionist.

The service was nice and fairly prompt but the secretary did not enter all of the blood tests our doctor ordered. The lab slip was for a comp med Panel, CBC and a complete thyroid panel and all they did was a TSH and CBC. read more

Got off early at work so i could show up early for my appointment ready to take a pee test for a new job. Proceeded to wait in a chair for 30 minutes for them to tell me that my chance to take the test had expired while i had been sitting in the waiting room. Thanks for nothing. 0 stars read more
