Horrible customer service, it's impossible to schedule an appointment, and it is so awesome sitting in the waiting room on standby for four hours after trying to make an appointment for three days. I won't say which lab I go to but I go without an appointment and I've never waited more than a half hour. My wife insisted on Quest so the first time I came in we waited two hours and we were informed that my daughter needed to fast and no beverages for at least an hour which our doctor said no fasting necessary. So we came back three days later and my poor 8 year old daughter had fasted for an hour and now we have been waiting for another four hours on top of the first hour of fasting. That is no way to treat children. Plus they have called us every day since our first visit and asked us to call them back, but they call after hours and when you try to get a hold of them during business hours it's impossible. Quest you are doing a horrible job and should be ashamed of yourselves. I will never come back here again!!!!!!!! Terrible care for children With all that being said it wasn't the staff's fault, they were understaffed and they were doing their best. Yay staff, BOO Quest. UPDATE After the countless hours of waiting two different days they ended up messing up both of the tests that they were supposed to do. I had my second scheduled lab draw and this lab is growing on me. The staff are SO nice and extremely punctual. Again, my appointment was taken on the dot. This time around I heard people upset about wait times and they were arguing with the already stretched thin employees. Don't come to this lab as a walk in, especially not on a Saturday and expect to get seen right away (or at all). I confirmed with the girl that your only opportunity for getting seen is someone missing an appointment. I scheduled my appt 3 weeks ago, I wasn't going to miss it. When I left it was standing room only again in the waiting room. I really felt for the employees who were doing their best. Hey Quest, how about hiring more people? You could easily quadruple business based on the amount of people out there waiting! In any case, I like the app driven ease and precision of making appointments. Not recommend for the visually impaired as even with an appointment pts are under the impression that they are checked in with the digital hand check in but it puts them as a walk-in and the system does not acknowledge that they have an appointment. I've been to this place 4 times. Overall it does look clean and some of the staff can actually be nice to you. But not all of them. To have a successful visit to this facility I personally would recommend you to check their hours from at least two different resources, make an appointment if you can, and bring all the documents they might possibly need. I've been going to this location for a couple years and found my favorite phlebotomist, Jo. She is such a hard worker and so good at what she does! I've been told I'm a "hard stick" due to chemo and scar tissue from my constant blood draws. She was able to find blood every time, the first time! She is no longer there. And I will not be going back. I went on Tuesday, had to see another phlebotomist and was stuck 3 times; 2 in the arm, one in the hand. Was so painful and had 2 different nurses. Barely got enough blood for 2 vials. I am severely bruised at one needle location. Never had this bad of bruising. My vein was bulging for a couple days after and very painful not only to the touch but just even using my arm. The nurses were kind but their skill level is a little lacking. The place is clean enough and appointments are easy to make through the app and always taken on time. Will be going to a different location next time. I had an appointment scheduled for today, December 10, 2024. I went to the check in kiosk and entered my information. I have not had trouble before. Today it said they couldn't find my appointment. I got up early after a poor night of sleep just for this. I fasted just for this. I wasted my time just for this. I wasted my gas just for this. I didn't get the service my doctor ordered, just for this. You want a review...? You stink, Just for this. You have no one to even answer a phone. You have Zero customer service. A message on the in room screen has a Monotone blabbing primarily of course about paying your bill. And what, this is supposed to be some kind of new improved high tech. way to treat patients and get the information your Dr. has ordered? Well, it is a disastrous failure and I don't appreciate the complicated process that didn't use to be once upon a time. There are clearly exponential complaints about this archaic way of herding people through this god awful yellow brick road into a neverland of service. Terrible every time. Our insurance has forced us from Sutter to Quest. First visit both the phlebotomist and her lead said they couldn't draw the requested test. However when the provider's office spoke to them they claimed they never said that! Took multiple attempts with a lot of fishing on both tries. If that's all you do all day, you should be much much better. read more

My dr did not fax the blood order over before my appt. Once the fax was received I was told I would have to re-register as a walk-in and wait. Not waiting another hour. While there watched a woman who had problems registering knock on the door since there is no other option. A clerk came out yelled at her then slammed the door in the woman's face. Update: Since my last review I've been back to this same Quest location twice with my elderly mother. The first time it was the same, simple check-in, great phlebotomist, and short wait. Yesterday, a Monday, it was crowded when we arrived and the phlebotomists were calling out name of people who'd previously checked-in had left-several had. They also were telling people who were walk-ins that they'd be waiting at least 30 minutes. My mother's visit was almost exactly an hour. Ugh! I could see by the patient list on their board that they'd booked 4 people for each time slot that runs in 10 minute increments. That's the problem. Those poor phlebotomists! I'll keep coming back and see how it goes. read more

The lab is in the back of an older single story medical complex and there was abundant parking at my 8am appointment time. No frills kind of place. No receptionist. A bunch of plastic chairs in rows in the waiting area. Either you check in on your phone when you arrive, or on the kiosk in the waiting area. I made an appointment online and was called in promptly at my appointment time. My phlebotomist was Jessica and she was exceptional. Incredibly efficient as she managed not only my care, but all the administrative and billing work. She was kind, careful, caused me no pain and was just a delight to work with. I HIGHLY recommend Rafeala! Our child has needed blood draws since she was an infant, and it was such a stressful process finding a phlebotomist who could draw blood from our squirmy kid. After trying a few places, one phlebotomist at a different Quest location recommended Rafeala specifically saying that she's the best person to go to for kids. Wow...night and day difference. Not only did our baby not cry, Rafeala kept her calm the whole time and got the draw in one go. That was two years ago. Since then we've been going to Rafeala ever since for multiple draws, and our kid NEVER cries. Rafeala is efficient and very skilled at her job. We will never let another phlebotomist do our child's blood draws as long as Rafeala is around. read more

For a place where there are needles and potential disease, the lack of cleanliness was shocking. The employees were friendly is the only thing positive I can report. Walked in and registered on their iPad station. It said my wait time was 15 mins. I had 4 people ahead of me. After 1 hour they had only performed tests on 2 people who had scheduled appoints who showed up. After 1 hour of waiting my wait time then increased and said I would wait another 37 minutes. I left the facility and went back to work. Do not go here unless you have to. Severely understaffed. The wait times on their system are not accurate. She seemed like the team Mom there, very attentive and her maternal nature made for a comfortable visit. She was kind and careful and even used a finer lancet/needle to draw the blood for me. I use Quest for all of my blood draws and have been super happy with the girls here. I have been going here for two years now since my diagnosis and in the beginning I needed labs done weekly. I now get them done monthly. Each and every time I have visited I have been met with kindness and respect. My doctors have also been happy with the quick turnaround of my results. Which is usually 24. Hours. I do have to say coming in with an appointment is necessary. They are a busy office so you can't expect immediate service without an appointment. I use the office and Sebastopol and both are great. read more

Difficult place to get your labs done. They lost my first referral, so I had to come back. Had and appointment, but still had to wait 45 minutes. My doctor can't get the results from them for unknown reason, so I will have to go to a different lab and have the test down again. Quest is waisting my time and compromising my ability to get medical treatment from my doctor in a timely manner. It bad enough having an illness, but so much worse when you have to deal with an incompetent unprofessional lab and wait for treatment. read more

Ugg this place needs an active manager to watch the employees. They're really blunt and standoffish. I came to pick up a take-home-test kit for my sick hunners. I walked up to the desk, explaining that I was just here to pick something up. The lady behind the desk cut me off before I could finish my question. She made me sign into a waiting list and ignored me. Okay, I'm cool with a waiting list. I don't know the protocols of this office, and all she had to do was explain how it works here. Instead, she jumped down my throat, made me shut up, and ignored me. It took 45 minutes until they called my name. I gave them my fiancee's name saying that his take-home kit should be ready to pick up. They bluntly said, "His name isn't in the system." I just stood there, unsure of what to do next. Were they going to offer other solutions? Suggestions? Words of calming apologies? A small thank you for waiting so long? Nope, the employee just walked away and called the next person on the waiting list. Next day, my hunners went himself to pick up his test kit, and they found his name in the system just fine. Well, "just fine" is probably not the right word - he had a whole other slew of problems with this place. He had the same unpleasant experience with the staff here. Call it conjecture but I get the feeling the people here hate their jobs. read more

Today I went in early for fasting blood work and after an hour and twenty minutes there was still a 25 minute wait. They only had 2 people, no intake person, and people with appointments (I had tried but they were full) kept getting priority.
