Terrible service. Scheduled an appointment and they took every walk in before mine. Was not seen for over 1.5 hours.

Worst experience ever. I'm a travel nurse so I often get drug screens and other misc tests and this was by far the worst treatment I have ever received. First you can only schedule drug screens between 9-3 so if you work Monday- Friday day shift you'll have to switch with someone or request the day off. It took me almost two weeks to get an appointment. I was taken back quickly but treated extremely poorly from being taken back to leaving. I thought at first it was a language barrier but no this phlebotomist spoke and understood English just fine he just didn't want to answer my questions at all. I left not knowing if I even had my Tb quantiferon done. This guy should definitely consider a career that doesn't include interacting with the public. Beware. I came in for a Saturday walk in, they had nothing but walk in's ready when they opened. I got up to get checked in for walk in appointment and the nurse working clicked my screen for me instead of letting me finish the process. She cancelled me out and I didn't realize until an hour later that she is responsible for me not completing the process and being properly put in the queue. They saw the first few walk ins before me and then told everyone that they are not accepting anymore walk ins. Ya'll should probably staff these places with more workers so people can get the care they deserve. Super lame. read more

Took my 3.5 year old son here this morning to get his first blood draw. I took him for his flu shot a couple of weeks ago and it was horrible - crying, screaming and fighting. So I was not hopeful for this blood draw. Arrived at 7:30am and waited about 15 minutes with two people ahead of us. Facility seemed new or renovated and very clean. Cecille was our phlebotomist and she was great. She was calm and quick. My husband held my son, another employee held my sons arm and Cecilia quickly found a vein through my sons crying and screaming and squirming. Unfortunately my son will need more blood draws in the future and we will definitely go back to this location and ask for Cecille. Very good experience. read more

Hello I come back with appointment at 7:15 per the expectation from the front desk lady . Because I walked in at 7 am last time and my dad had to wait for an hour because she said we didn't make appointment so he can't get in before the others who already made appointment. I went home and do online appointment and get back here today 6/12 for 7:15 appointment. This time the lady with orange hair , she asks if we have appointment but again this time my dad still waiting even though he had his appointment at 7:15 am . I have no problem to wait but there is different way to serve and my father come back with appointment and still the same :((( I tried to book early or walk-in early and still waiting from 7-15 to 8:00 soon . I went to the Di Salvo location to drop off a specimen. I was told the day before by one of the technicians at another Quest location to just come in and drop my specimen off. When I got to the Di Salvo location, the older woman told me I needed an appointment. Thank God the woman I spoke with yesterday, heard me and came out to get the specimen. The older woman berated the younger woman saying appointments are needed on Saturdays. Very poor customer service. The older women working this morning should be reprimanded. read more

I went here for blood type test. Since I had already booked appointment and I was on time, check in experience was smooth for me. However I was very unhappy with the nurse who drew my blood. First of all she used a thick needle to draw my blood, I had pain during blood draw. Then there was so much blood at the cotton. I had blood draw at least 20 times in recent years, i never had this much blood loss before just because of blood draw. Then they used some cheap quality tape on the cotton which was very painful to remove. I had much better experience with Stanford/ PAMF labs and labcorp as well. read more

Two very positive experiences at this lab spur the need to give this review. My elder mom requires periodic blood work done related to meds she's on. Very professional, efficient and also friendly personnel work this lab to make your experience as smooth as possible. I had made an appointment on-line a couple weeks earlier, and brought the appointment sheet printed out for the appointment. The person at the desk swiftly and successfully checked us in, found the doctor's orders for the lab work. A few minutes later my mother's name was called and I wheeled her back to one of the blood draw stations (there are a few). Ms. Cecille S. was phlebotomist who assisted my mom. She noted my mom's very think skin, and was careful and quick in her work. Swift draw, gentle completion and dressing of puncture point, all good. The worst clinic ever. The nurses/ staff barely speak English that makes very difficult to communicate with them. In addition, they are so frustrated and lazy that they won't even care about your career and send a false report to your employer (in case you are here for pre-employment drug screening). I always make an appointment in advance, so that I don't have to wait to get my tests done, but this didn't work the last two times. Last week, I showed up on time for my appointment. Still, I had to wait ten minutes, even though there were no other people in the wait room and they were not helping any any people inside. They just made me wait for ten minutes after my appointed time for no clear reason. They also didn't apologize for their lateness. The time before that, it was very busy. We always do it our doctor office and there is a nurse is very slow and she never seem to do it right...! And there is always inaccurate and delays...! I have been going to this location for many years. In the past, it used to be quite good. The phlebotomists were really professional and skillful. Not so lately ! The last couple of times I was there, they had problems getting right to the vein, and ended up having to jab me multiple times. Worse yet, this guy who drew my blood yesterday came holding the needle with HIS HAND SHAKING like I've never seen before. Sorry, but how do you aim right and get an accurate puncture if the hand you are holding the needle with is shaking like you've downed 10 shots of double espressos half an hour ago? When he failed to draw any blood from me after a few jabs and wiggles, I asked if he wanted to try a different arm, but he insisted on doing it on the same one. Ouch! I then asked him if he wanted to get some help and ask a different phlebotomist to draw my blood, but he said, "No sir, sorry sir. I can do it." Sigh! Never go to this place. Wait time is really long. People here are not quipped and have less/no knowledge at all about what they do. The Old lady at front desk was so rude. My wife was waiting inside the car as she was the patient. The lady at front desk asked me to go and let my wife wait there. I asked her why and told her that she is sick and with my kid inside the car. She said if you want her to do the blood work please bring her here. This was so rude. Above all she started discussing personal things with my wife like you should not let your husband over power you. This is so mean. Please be away from this place. Coming to blood work part they tried getting blood from her right hand from a place where you dont see vein at all. They told that they cannot get the blood because my wife didnt drink enough water. This is so ridiculous. Do they know what they were telling or doing at all. I dont have an option for -100 star. I would have given that for this behavior. Since we have to check hcg and have done that here before we were forced to do here again. Previous visit was better than todays but not great at all. To add to all of these - Walk In Wait time they gave was 35-45 mins but on their app it was showing me as 5 min wait time. then i tried for booking online appointment and asked them i see an appointment at 11:45AM(I was there at 11.40AM) and they said even if you book we can see you after 45 mins. The man who did my bloodwork a few minutes ago in stall 6 quite literally jabbed the needle into my arm and yanked it out when he was finished. I've donated blood multiple times and have never had bad experiences with needles until now. First time I was ever in pain to the point of tears during blood work. I could tell he was irritated and rushing to get the job done without any care or regard for what kind of harm he could do to me. I can't imagine what would've happened to me if I was ill. Very satisfied with my experience. Wanted to get my labs done the day after my doctor's appt but couldn't get an appt with quest because slots were full. I went in as a walk-in and checked in via tablet. I was called by the lady at the front desk within 5 minutes of checking in and was asked to show my insurance card. They were able to pull up my doctor's lab orders via computer. Waited again for less than 5 minutes and was brought inside. The phlebotomist, Hector, was kind and polite. He explained what would happen at each step and was gentle with the blood draw process. I was in and out of the place in less than 15 minutes. FYI apparently they're not going to accept walk-ins starting the end of August 2021 (will be by appointment only) read more

The system said I had no orders, that's cool. Most people look to see if the fax was missed being uploaded to the system. The Phlebotomist had no intentions of doing this. (I called to confirm it was sent via fax, it was.) I called to have orders faxed again. There was no choice of waiting for the order. The phlebotomist told me only way I was going to get my blood drawn was if someone canceled today, and rushed me out. I've been to this location a few times. I chose it because it is only 15 minutes from my work. I made an appointment online for 7:30am. I arrived about a half hour early. When I arrived I scanned my bar code into the front kiosk. I was called to the front counter within seconds and to draw my blood at 7:25am. Ceccille S. drew my blood. She was amazing. Most people get it in after 3 or 4 times. She was able to get the needle in the first time. It was quick and painless. Wish I could request her all the time. read more

I have been to many labs for various testing over the years I have been to at least 5 Quest Diagnostics locations and by far the worst labs I have ever been to. Today was no different Belgica was just ugly and rude and there is no reason for how they feel they can treat you. I guess because you are going for Drug (Urine) Test they think it's ok to treat you like you are some type of criminal. Asked if I could fill my water bottle when o arrived No. The water fountains are all taped closed and apparently they do not provide a water bubbler with water for clients and/or staff. When she asked if I would be able to fill cup1/2 way I said No. So I tried and of course could not do it. So the options you have to stay in waiting room and then you can try again in 4 hours keeping in mind you have no access to water. Needless to say I am not going to wait and Belgica says you refuse to do test I then I informed her of the difference No I did not refuse I tried I was unable to complete the test per the required amounts needed for testing There is a difference. No one should ever be made to feel humiliated by anyone I don't care what your job or position is. There is a way to performs one job and a way to talk to people that is not rude and disrespectful. As for the other Quest experiences brawling blood. I tell them immediately I am a hard stick, I prefer going through my hand with pediatric butterfly needle ( I know this is what works I have been having blood test for 40 years every 6 months), but no 1st they insist on right arm inside elbow, then left arm. After those two fails they still don't listen and go for right forearm ...miss again and then left. Then guess what they tell me? We are only allowed to stick you 4 times so you need to make another appointment. Why do I can come back have you not listen again and walk out with my arms covered in bandaid and black and blue marks from you digging around when you missed the veins? read more

They denied service saying they close in 15 minutes which they weren't, they close in 30 minutes when I was there, they were rude and then they attend me after having to tell them they are wrong, before they drew my blood they're trying to find my vein I was legit looking at the vein and the lady couldn't find it so she just went for it and put the needle in. Had to step out because I had to call my doctor to re send lab work. I get back in and another lady comes up very rude saying first I was late for my appointment, actually... As good as it gets for getting blood tests. The ladies I always get have decades of experience as phlebotomists. I really appreciate this, and rarely feel any needle pokes. True professionals. I love the patient portal where I can view my test results, and I can schedule my appointments. All in all a very positive experience no matter which Quest location I go to. As soon as i walked in I thought I was in the wrong place. First thing coming in I thought it was a bit dirty, nothing on the walls. Bathroom was very dirty. No toilet paper, looked like someone wiped themselves with alcohol wipes and left it all over the floor. Staff was a bit rude at first, but after talking for a bit I thought it might just be busy and he was stressed. He ended up helping me out a lot. Wait was about 20 min, didn't think that was bad since there were a lot of people. As far as the procedure, I liked her(unsure of her name) it was easy, painless, and only lasted thirty seconds. She was nice and caring and made me feel comfortable(for a needle freak this was awesome). I liked how there is nearly a whole room for you while getting your blood drawn. It felt private! I would give more stars if the place was cleaner and the front desk staff was a bit nicer at first :) Will probably be coming back because the lady that took my blood was nice and it was painless. read more

Im not a big fan of needles! But they're really nice and gentle I should say.. I read the reviews and it kinda scares me but I gave it a try anyways because my doctor is really close by. For some reason I have never got a bad experience here. (Lucky one) definitely go on the right time every time because I never wait more than 15 mins. Poor service! This has nothing to do with covid 19. I pre registered online. When I arrived 5 minutes prior to my appointment there were 3 people waiting . I quickly checked in I was told to have a seat. There were 3 people in the waiting room and obviously a few in the lab. Everyone got served before me and those that came in afterwards. A half hour later I was called in. I was put at the end of a line of 8 people because the receptionist said she needed to find my doctors information. 1. I had faxed the medical request from the doctor's office the day before 2. I had provided copies of insurance cards 3. I was preregistered 4. Form had all I The information they needed! No wonder they have a poor rating They stack patients in groups and stagger appointments. They are disrespectful of serving those who do all that is required making appointments and failing to inform if there is any issue that needs attention instead of making one wait at the time of their reserved time.
