I like this Kaiser, which seems like a Kaiser Jr. compared to the megaplex Kaiser 24 with Imax in Santa Clara. I guess Santa Clara doesn't have Urgent Care because they sent me to Skyport. Curiously, Skyport told me they don't have Urgent Care and told me to go to Santa Clara, but I corrected them. But then Urgent Care asked if I had an appointment. And I was like, um, it's urgent. Waiting four days is not so urgent. It was Seinfeld trying to get his rental car. Anyway, I was super nice to the super nice worker and super nice to a super nice nurse who was super nice to a super nice doctor who said they could squeeze me in four hours later at 3:50pm. I said thank you, picked up my intestines, and left. Actually, it was just a glass splinter in my finger from using a phone with a cracked screen. You could tell what word I swiped by following the blood trail. Anyway, the doctor was awesome. This is the facility that streamlined Covid testing back in the day. The whole facility feels brand new and under used like the secret bathroom nobody uses at Disneyland that's like behind Winnie the Pooh.

Parking is plentiful. Service is fast. I felt comfortable at the facility. There's security in front. 2 guards. However many of the clients were sketchy. Purse clinching craziness the culture has changed significantly the last few years. It's a sad state of affairs in the Bay Area. As diverse as it is. TTo change so much. Doesnt affect this facility and it's great location. Customer service. And accommodations. It was fast and efficient.

Called in for an appointment yesterday and was able to be seen today. Kaiser always comes through with appointments when needed and at a reasonable time frame. pediatrician today was welcoming and knowledgeable with a diagnosis and medication for use.

Clidamycin solution Dr. Prescribed, for acne and clean skin. Thank you Kaiser.

Had been here a couple of times for routine check ups, I find the staff are friendly and care about the overall general safety about the public. The parking lot is pretty huge here and haven't had a problem with that or finding a place to park. Nurses are hecka nice to me because I am friendly and I am easy to get along with. Respect and etiquette. Checking in is usually pretty quick and I appreciate that, wait time is usually about 10 minutes. Enso forever. Near 87 and 1st. Huge parking lot. Masks required. July 2022. Near lightrail/vta. I was here to pick up some prescriptions. I noticed that this location has electric vehicle charging stations at the front. I arrived very early around 8 AM and the pharmacy was already open and there was no line. They were also administering flu shots and Covid shots and I was able to get those as well very quickly with no wait. Overall it was a great experience at this location. There are plenty of parking spots and the building looks quite new.

This is my first time visiting Kaiser Permanente's Skyport location and I am absolutely a fan!!! My visit was specifically to have a Covid test taken to gear up for an upcoming procedure and the entire process was extremely easy. Be advised that appointments are mandatory and walk-ins [or drive-ins] are not accepted. I set up an appointment through Kaiser's app and was provided multiple reminders through text and via email. The entire process was an absolute breeze but expect quite a bit of waiting. Not sure if afternoon appointments speed up a bit but there was a lot a lot of idle time during my morning appointments as employees set up shop and made their rounds to each and every car. 10 circular swabs in each nostril was all the process took and I was on my way out. The employee walked me through the procedure prior to making any sudden movements and was so friendly. I'd highly recommend the Skyport location for any testing needs!! **Be sure to have your Kaiser ID and regular ID easily accessible since they will be checked more than once.**

My review is for the pharmacy ONLY! There are never enough attendants. The lines and RX filling take forever. This is a poorly managed and poorly staffed facility. You wait in a 15-20 minute line to tell them you're here. They start to fill the refill at that time, but then you have to go back thru the line after your name pops up on the board. They literally have a dozen stations to operate but only use 2/3 max stations. We can all see that this is about labor hours. Maximizing profit while minimizing expenses, at risk of customer service. Please note, this has been my primary Kaiser for two years. I miss Santa Theresa! Much better service. Better managed.

Getting a covid-19 test for traveling to Hawaii. We have reservations to stay in four different islands of Hawaii in each of four consecutive months starting in November. Starting October 15, visitors can avoid the 14 day quarantine if they take a covid 19 test no more than 72 hours before the final leg of their departure to Hawaii. Wife and I loaded the kp.org mobile app into our cell phones, so that we could have the covid-19 test results stored electronically even in the airports of Hawaii, which don't have internet access. I explained my need for a covid-19 test to my doctor at Kaiser, and she gave me the go-ahead. You must have permission from your doctor, and must make an appointment. No drop ins. We waited until about a week before our flight before making an appointment. Had to make sure no last minute changes in the flight departure time, Tuesday 7:10am, as you cannot change your appointment. Logged onto my account on www.kp.org, and there were plenty of openings even on the current day. Made an appointment at Skyport Kaiser for Saturday at 8:55am, while wife got a 9am time. Instructions say try to arrive as close as possible to your appointment time, wearing facemasks. From Sunnyvale need to take the airport exit from highway 87, even though the hospital is on Skyport way and not the earlier Airport way. No cars ahead of me, as I drive through huge parking lot area, with orange cones lining the way. Good signage as to where to go for covid testing. Sign says no photography allowed and for Kaiser members only, so others can turn back. First station has a dozen first responders in full personal protection equipment, from head to toe, with N95 masks, plastic hand gloves, and face shields. Told to keep the windows up, and show Kaiser membership card and driver license against the car window. At no time do the first responders slide the Kaiser card through the electronic reader, but simply hand write the membership number down. Our appointment and identities confirmed, we are directed to the second station. Windows come down. Swab inserted over the tongue, and another swab inserted into the nostril. It is Saturday 8:50am, and we are done in seconds. Sunday 1:45pm, 29 hours after test, I receive an e-mail of a correspondence from kaiser. Check the test result on www.kp.org. Get a hard copy stating specimen collected 11/28/20 at 10:09am, and last resulted at 11/29/20 at 1:43pm. Monday, 4 pm, 55 hours after test, wife has yet to receive test result. Called the lab and they can't find it -must have been misplaced. Looks like either the first responders made a mistake in writing down her membership id on the specimen label, or the specimen tube was dropped and contaminated during transportation to the lab before it could be processed in the lab. Visitors must have a negative covid19 test result in pdf format loaded into the Hawaii Safe Travels database or in hand before they can depart on the plane to Hawaii. Those who arrive without having their negative test results before departure will not be able to skip quarantine, even if their negative results become available shortly after they arrive. Tuesday 7:10am. Wife has not received her test result, 70 hours after testing. Grounded, as the plane leaves for Hawaii without us!

I love this Kaiser facility. Clean, easy to make appointments, and patients are usually in and out pretty quickly. I've been here a few times for some routine work, and have never had any issues. The staff at this location are generally pretty friendly and are cohesive. If you live in the area, consider electing this Kaiser location as your home base. Hard to find any negatives to point out here.

Fantastic first impression of this new Kaiser Permanente facility. If you, like me, pay attention to details, you will definitively observe so many. For starters, the huge and clean Welcome sign. It does not feel like going to doctor appointment, but like going to a movie theater or museum. Speaking of museums, kudos to the art curator. The walls are covered of work of artists from the Bay Area (hopefully these paintings are itinerant so no one gets bored of the same). Then, the modern and clean look and feel in general, with various hardwood floor colors and NICE cloth pattern in the sofas and chairs. FINALLY a medical center that uses good taste! (notice that in most center they seem to buy their sofas at some thrift shop with the ugliest and more eyepuzzling patterns ever imagined. Not here, which makes the wait for your doc appointment a breeze for the eyes. And speaking of eyes, my first visit was my annual eye-doc check-up and loved not only the doctor, but also the friendly staff including, yes, friendly security people. I will definitively move my doctors there, even though I am very happy with Santa Clara Kaiser, but proximity and parking availability is a must for busy people!

Here's what happened: · A nurse practitioner refused to give me a treatment plan. She insisted I wait six months for an experimental exam, while I was actively declining after a year of untreated illness. · When I refused to wait and asked for qualified care, she retaliated. She dismissed my condition, told me to seek different employment, and demanded I return to work with no treatment or diagnosis. · She ordered repeated blood tests to "prove malnutrition"; even though I'd told her I couldn't eat for over two years. Nonsensical, wasteful, and cruel. · I complained. Stanford acknowledged it and promised an internal investigation, including reviewing the fees. Instead of resolving anything, they sent my bill to collections, without notice, without decision, while I was still in distress. · My credit was damaged. I couldn't access funds for care. I eventually disengaged from Stanford out of fear and cumulative abuse. Result: Worsening organ damage, multiple ER visits, psychological trauma, loss of employment, permanent impairment. I've had to pay for costly alternative treatments out of pocket. If you have a complex or chronic condition, do not trust Stanford Health Care. They punish patients for advocating for themselves. I went in yesterday for a stressful procedure, and I can't say enough how everyone was so incredibly understanding and receptive, from the front desk receptionist, to the intake nurse that did my questioning, to the nurse that medicated me, to the NP that did my ultrasound, to the girl that guided me to and from the procedure room, all the way to the doctor that did my procedure (Dr. Rasmussen I think her name was, although don't quote me on that) Every single step of the way (a 4-6 hour visit btw), I felt so protected and accounted for. With a typical large healthcare chain like PP, you'd be nervous about the care you're about to receive. At least this would be the case for me, given the uncertainty about their working hours, pay, the amount of clients they see on a day-to-day basis, and how it affects their performance in the long run for future clients. But this PP has exceeded every single one of my expectations. I came in feeling down, nervous, and sick as a dog, and left feeling like they draped a warm fuzzy blanket over me. They were very communicative about my concerns and questions, and seemed like they understood everything I was saying. If these girls WERE having a bad day, you would NOT have been able to tell. Like, at all. I will genuinely remain forever grateful for the level of care I got here. If you guys are looking for a top quality PP clinic, please PLEASE consider this one (the Alameda) and the Mar Monte one. PROTECT THESE LADIES AT ALL COST!!! They're absolute sweethearts.
