I have been to many many labcorps and quests. With my various health issues, I require a variety of frequent tests. Needless to say, I put them off for some time so ended up with about 7 or more different orders from at least 5 separate doctors. Claire, at the front desk took the time to locate and sort through all the orders and make sure to cc the proper doctors and make sure there were not duplicates of draws (as some orders overlapped). Not only that but when I showed up after closing time, Claire opened the lab to submit my samples (otherwise I'd have to do them all over again and 24 hours of urine is not an easy task). Claire made a daunting task seem doable and went above and beyond to help me and to make sure I was taken care of and all the many orders were well organized despite how difficult it was. She prevented me from having to go multiple time and have to message my doctors for new labs. I felt so accomplished after leaving despite Claire having done all the work. Additionally, Trupti (not sure the spelling sorry) was the phlebotomist who drew my blood. I've been poked and prodded for years and she was very kind and gentle and the needle did not hurt. I did have 14 viles to fill so we had to move to another vein but still minimal pinch with the poke. One of the most pleasant blood draws I've ever had. Getting poked is slightly retraumatizing for me and Trupti helped me feel comfortable and supported. Definitely going back and asking for Trupti again. read more

My experience with the PT/front desk staff member, CLAIRE, was extremely disappointing and raises concerns about patient care at this location. Her communication with patients was rude, condescending, and unnecessarily harsh. I observed her raising her voice, speaking down to patients, and behaving as though ordinary patient questions or needs were an irritation. Her demeanor during blood draws also appeared careless and dismissive, which is especially concerning in a healthcare setting. Patients should be treated with basic respect, professionalism, and attentiveness, particularly during clinical procedures. I hope management reviews this seriously, as the conduct I observed does not reflect an appropriate standard of patient care. Customer service and emotional intelligence at this location are horrible. The woman at the front desk is extremely rude to the elderly and to people in general. She was yelling on the phone with customer service and then shouting at clients to sit down. At one point, she even made a strange comment about why everyone was staring at her. Of course people were staring, because she was loudly yelling at everyone in a very small office where we could all see and hear her behavior. When a man who did not speak English very well gave her the wrong information, instead of showing patience or trying to help, she screamed at him. I had to step in and use Google Translate to help him. Everyone deserves respect, and it is not the clients' fault if she hates her job or is having a bad day. She absolutely should not be working in customer service. I will never come back to this location and strongly recommend going elsewhere, even if it means driving farther. Scheduling the appointment was extremely easy - it didn't ask for any additional information. When I showed up, this was not the case. They rejected my doctor's lab order since it was not in PDF or Paper form even though it never presented that was needed. The receptionist was difficult to work with, not explaining what was needed and just airing her frustration that what I had wouldn't work, not offering any solutions. When I finally figured out what she needed, she was extremely dismissive and wouldn't help me still. The appointment itself took maybe 2-3 minutes maximum and was easy. They accept walk in but don't have a system to handle it. The people with appointment always get helped before the walking which means the waiting time is infinite. The worse case was that the receptionist lied about it. When I asked if I had to wait until all appointed clients are served she said no. I really feel for the employees here, but they do not make the situation any better by having the emotional capacity of a barbed wire fence. They were very patient and pleasant! For the first time EVER at any labcorp I have had terrible issues. Typically when I go to labcorp they have my labwork in the system, meaning I don't have to bring the paper form. This location refused to see me for not having a paper form of my labwork, even though I had setup an appointment beforehand. They refused to even try to address the issue and turned me away unapologetically. The labwork I needed was unable to be completed by my next appointment as a result and inhibited my treatment. The staff here are unprofessional, rude, and selfish. This is in stark contrast to other locations such as the one on 54 N Bascom. Even when I do not have the paper form of my labwork they find it efficiently in the system. Beyond that they've done the same for when I have done walk-ins. Even when they cannot find certain labs in the system, they still do what they can at this location. read more

Had a great experience here despite the bad reviews. Staff was super friendly and helpful and definitely witnessed them being kind and patient with others. I think if anything, it's the fault of the doctors or the patient not understanding how the process works or that just some things are out staffs' control especially when it comes to insurance. I had to take my glucose test so had to stay for an hour then get my blood drawn. There was a separate room dedicated for those who had to stay longer like me. And I didn't even feel the poke when my blood was drawn! Will be coming back here again in the future. Ps. Parking kinda sucked but I was able to find a spot. read more

This was great. Got referred here from my Dr. at Stanford and I am not disappointed. I walked in without an appointment on a Monday a little after 8:45 and was out by 9:00. It's self check in, they confirm who you are, then take your blood in less than a minute. Truly a great experience for those who hate getting blood taken. Thank you to Koosh (unsure of the spelling). He is a tall man with long grey hair, I didn't even feel the needle go in. And the woman at the counter helped me with my lab requests because I didn't have them printed. My doctor referral didn't show up in Labcorp's system for some reason. I was a bit confused about what might have happened. As the lady at the front desk was explaining the process to me, the Asian lady (apologies for not remembering her name) also at the front desk started talking extremely rudely. Not sure how such people even get into professions like healthcare if they don't even have a tiny bit of empathy in them. Very sad and I had better experience at other Labcorp locations earlier. First time here as I'm used to Kaiser. Front staff is rude. Another patient came in had a question about prior and they wouldn't even listen to her..just kept saying you are the one that imputed the info..as it's self check in only..I now know why they only have self check as I'm sure they are hoping they won't need anyone in the front because they are rude and unprofessional. I hope to give zero. This place is small and dirty. What's outrageous is that the male nurse who drew my blood lacked skill. He caused me a lot of pain, and after he finished, blood gushed out in large drops, leaving my arm covered in blood. Absurdly, he even said, "Have you been taking any medication? I've never had a patient bleed so much." He actually suspected that my blood clotting function was poor to excuse his terrible technique. I told him, "I've had blood drawn many times elsewhere, and never has it been like today." Then he tightly wrapped my arm with a bandage, which was very painful. Do not go to this location. i had the worst service. check in lady was so rude & I cannot understand a word she said. Tech (older man tall- could be the owner, he was so rude) used the same glove when typing on computer at desk then went to take my blood work using the same gloves after he helped other patient. it looked like gloves were torn & re- used. Then it took him 5 minutes to look for my vein. He then proceeded without any caution and poked my nerves without cleaning my arm with alcohol wipes before poking. I shouted and then he pulled out the needle. He told me he will have his colleague do it. Then another lady came it & drew blood in my other arm w/o any issues. She then told me that was the nerve injury that he poked should take 2 weeks to heal. Up to now, I am still feeling numbness from that poke and have tingling sensation when opening & closing my hand. read more

I took my mother here for routine bloodwork. The customer service was terrible, front desk (who was also the tech who drew the blood) was rude and incompetent. Although we made an appt in advance, checked in on the machine as soon as we arrived, and my mother had health insurance, we still waited about 40 minutes to be seen when the lobby was almost empty. As others have said in their reviews, the place was dirty. A week later, her doctor's office still has not received the test results. And when you try to call this place, you only get an automated recording. This was a terrible experience, and we will never use this place again. read more

Now you check in on an iPad which also scans ID and insurance cards. Really makes the process a bit easier and faster. I also noticed they will collect any co-pay or coinsurance amounts prior to blood draw, so it's one less thing to worry about. read more

I came in with a time-sensitive lab order that required a specific type of kit that is currently on back order. My lab order clearly stated that my blood should be drawn, and Labcorp should call a listed number to receive an overnight shipping label to send my blood to the appropriate place. After being told to wait for 30 minutes for the "manager" to get back from lunch, he very rudely told me the kit was something I needed to have brought in myself. I specifically asked if my blood could be drawn/shipped and pointed to the directions on the bottom of my lab order, and he again very rudely said I wasn't understanding and that I needed to leave because they were closing. I reached out to my doctor and they confirmed that my blood should have been drawn and shipped. This Lapcorp location can't follow simple directions, is rude to their patients, and has now messed up the timing of a very important procedure I have coming up. I was shocked and appalled at how rude the front desk lady named Mercy was to an elderly lady trying to check in while I was there with my family member. It got so bad that the elderly lady said verbatim: "Can you please try to be just a little polite to me?" The response from Mercy at the front desk was to laugh at her and mock her. I hoped that the business had a message feature so that I could send a direct message. The front desk antics were against a brand new customer which made it even worse. Then after yelling and snapping at this elderly woman, Mercy was sugary sweet with the next customer who was a returning customer. She then told the returning customer, I might need you as a witness. This must have been in reference to the other customer asking for Mercy's name. Please believe your elderly customers if they tell you they are being verbally abused by Mercy at the front desk. My visit today went super smoothly. I went in to get my blood drawn and made an appointment online. When I arrived, I checked in through their self checkin system which was super easy and convenient. I'm glad they open at 7am since I had to fast and be at work right after. I waited approximately 5 minutes from my appointment time to be called. We went to one of the private rooms and the whole process was painless and done within 3 minutes and they took 5 vials of blood. read more

It's dirty, musty, paint is peeling everywhere, holes in the walls, stains on the carpet, who knows what is splattered on the walls, floors that haven't been moped in weeks, garbage that is full first thing in the morning, bathroom that also hasn't been cleaned in recent history. I may have been lucky, but neither time was anyone else waiting ahead of me and there was parking on the street in front of the door (there is also parking in the back). Fast, clean, efficient with experienced phlebotomists. They do take appointments on their website for this location, but neither time did I have one. read more

Waiting room has a filthy carpet....dark spots scattered everywhere..Im wondering why would the management take a look at the overall appearance of this location. The only reason I gave this place one star was because of the phlebotomist Mercy. She handled herself so well under the pressure of 9 pairs of angry eyes and people complaining to her every 5 minutes. She was the ONLY worker at that location. There's so much room for mistake when you have a phlebotomist rushing to get to people and their medical testing needs. It's lab corp you guys are everywhere! Spend some money and hire more people so that there's more than ONE person at each site! I'll be going to Quest Diagnostics from now on and hope to see Mercy at their location. I have to get my blood drawn every six months and have been coming to this location for the last 6 years. Wait times were short and location is convenient so I was happy to have found a place that made the experience a bit more bearable. The last 3-4 times I've come, the wait has been crazy. I'm currently sitting here in the waiting room...it's been 40 minutes as I start to write this. They've only taken 3 people back since I got here. Also if you ever have to call them, be careful not to leave a message that includes any personal information. They have an old school type of answering machine where you can here the person leaving the message. The volume is loud and the room is small so everyone in the waiting room can hear everything you're saying in the message. If you're able to come midday for your bloodwork this place is still good, but they just don't have enough staff in the mornings. read more
