Worst experience of my life! Arrived at 9:30am & left at 4:30pm. NO one at the reception on arrival (3 employees in the office), signed in & had to call a staff to please help because I have a timed test & I have been fasting hours for the test. TAYLOR finally came out, asked if I have an appointment scheduled, of which I said yes & that it was scheduled by my doctor last week & my order faxed in already. TAYLOR took my insurance card, made copies & got my paperwork ready & said: "I will call you to the back in a minute". Then I sat down, waiting to be called, but I noticed TAYLOR, was only sitting down, sending everyone before & after me out to another Quest office close to Valley Medical Center, with the excuse that Tests are done faster at the other Quest site". (People were leaving angrily & this was what TAYLOR did to customers all through the day - sending them to other locations or dismissing them before they even say a word on arrival & after 3:30 pm, TAYLOR was bold to tell other customers "we are closed for drug testing, it stops at 3:30pm, you can go up the street, like 5 mins from here, they close at 5pm") As if he has been taking customers all day. Well, after 15minutes of waiting - at 9:45 am, TAYLOR called me & said, "you will have to reschedule, because "your test is a timed test and we have to go to break at 12:00noon". So, I told TAYLOR, you have to help me out, I am pregnant and have been fasting for the test & had to call out of work today & only have today for this test that was 2weeks overdue. TAYLOR said "we can't help you, your blood draw falls on our break time, but if you want to wait till 1:00 pm, I WILL TAKE YOU FIRST & YOU DON'T HAVE TO SIGN IN AT 1:00 PM". Well, I had no choice, & waited till 1 pm. The most painful was that TAYLOR disrespectfully told me "you can't stay in here, you have to go outside, & come back, the doors will be closed for lunch at 12noon" I looked at the time, it was few minutes to 10 am. Well, I sat down & TAYLOR was mad at me again that I was sitting inside & I asked that I can stay in the lobby outside - talking rudely & loudly in front of other sitting customers - may be because I am black or he just doesn't want to see a pregnant woman. He later went in, came back out & said to me, "Well, I can take your blood draw before lunch, then you drink the solution at 12:15 pm & we do the first draw at 1:15 pm". I said, thank you & sat down, after, like 40minutes, TAYLOR came out again & told me, "sorry we can't do it anymore because my supervisor told me, we are responsible for you after you drink the solution". I said, ok, but please understand, I am pregnant & have been fasting & I asked to speak to the supervisor, TAYLOR said, "I can't give you her number but you can drop your number". I dropped my number & was able to speak to Karen, the supervisor, who apologized. However, this was the worst medical appt experience of my life and it is worse because I was rudely shown the way out, despite been pregnant & that I couldn't sit in with other waiting customers and wait for a test - that I am paying for. This was ridiculous & I hope & pray that I will never be sent to Quest again. I eventually left to sit outside & endured this abuse because I needed to get the test done, I can only do this test during the week & I can't take another time off work again. If every business has a Quest Taylor in them, they won't have customers. At 1:00 pm, I entered Quest lab, waiting to be called (Although I told the supervisor, I didn't want Taylor drawing my blood). Well, Taylor decided to be efficient & called in all customers who came in after me at 1:00 pm. So I called the supervisor two more times, before, I could be answered. Finally, at 1:25pm, after waiting for 4hours, I got a nice lady who finally helped me out & apologized to me again. Well, In summary, TAYLOR was extremely rude, unprofessional and disrespectful, not only to me, to other customers as well. I feel TAYLOR shouldn't be working in healthcare or drawing people's blood with such attitude. It's ok to refuse people services, but it can be done in a more professional way. I saw the Quest in Renton has barely 2 review stars on Google, but I like to try things out, but I got served today. Dear Quest Diagnostics, you can get great people to work for you. Thank you for your rude service today TAYLOR, I wish you well. read more
