My first visit was a complete mess and I absolutely planned on never coming back. I placed an appointment online and after arriving and checking in 15 mins early, I waited 30 mins after my appointment time. I finally asked the desk how much longer it would be and was told I don't know. The screen showing the list of check in was working and then wasn't. Then was back up but didn't have everyone's name on it. So I just left and decided I would reschedule somewhere else. However the lab corp locations around me, this ended up being the most convenient one. My rescheduled appt did go much better but there was a gentleman there who said he's been there for 1.5 hrs and was being told at the desk they already had his blood work. He was highly confused and pissed off and I was scared to do my blood work. Bc what if they are mixing labels on the tubes ? I made sure to check mine that day. I've since been back a couple more times due to routine blood work I need to do now, but each time the visits have been pretty straightforward. I've been in and out with my appointments. The staff is mostly friendly. I guess it just depends on how busy they are and how well the staff is managing their workload. Just be prepared to wait if you come here, esp if you don't utilize making an appointment prior. read more

This place is hot mess. The first time their computers were down so they couldn't access my referral; even though I had an appointment, they didn't call beforehand to tell me this. When I was there for the second time, the whole floor smelled like sewage. There were a long waits because there were only two phlebotomists there, and at least one of them was sometimes working at the front desk. When I went to get my actual blood drawn, the phlebotomist PULLED UP THE WRONG PERSON'S BLOOD TESTS. I only caught it because she tried to give me a breathing test and I knew my ordered tests were all blood tests. It turned out it was a computer glitch, known by at least one other person in the office, but there was no sign on the computer warning staff or explaining how to avoid the issue. My veins are tricky, and I had told the staff at the front desk I needed an experienced phlebotomist. After my phlebotomist got the correct tests listed on the screen, she gazed bleakly at my arms for a while. I asked her if she had a lot of experience. She said "Not a lot." So she didn't know how to be careful to double check the name on the computer screen before giving tests, and she was not going to be able to get my blood. (This isn't uncommon for inexperienced phlebotomists, but I'd told them I needed an experienced one!) So I again asked for an *experienced* phlebotomist, and a woman, Clara, at the front desk said she would do it. The good news is that Clara was AWESOME. Knew to use a butterfly needle, got my blood with one prick. Why why was she setting up appointments at the front desk, when she was so clearly skilled in taking blood? It felt like this was a training clinic. The first phlebotomist clearly had substandard skill levels. If she was in training, why wasn't she being supervised? If she wasn't, she shouldn't have been employed. And there were signs up in the lab draw rooms telling staff to not leave garbage on the floor! Staff need to be told that?! A terrible experience overall, especially almost being given someone else's tests. The one exception was Clara. I'd get my blood drawn by her anytime, if she didn't work at this terrible place. read more

Arrived for my appt, checked in via phone link 30mins beforehand. Due to extreme mobility issues, I headed towards the bldg early to give myself enough time. Upon entry, a tech came out to inform me their internet is down & unless I have my lab request paperwork from my Dr, I'd have to reschedule. Tried to reschedule and now the link says my confirmation number isn't working. Plus, there's no number listed for this location or any to call. Not sure what to do now! read more

I've been to this location twice now for routine lab work that I need done every 2-3 months. Technicians and staff are super friendly and efficient. It's a busy location so make an appointment you get priority over the walk ins. I got a text message when a tech was ready for me. I was in and out in 10 mins. read more

The experience was horrible they put money above patients. I came in for a medical need and not a burger and fries. I hated the experience and the way I was treated. Having to owe money should not prevent me from having health care. Customer service should be a priority and should always be valued and this didn't happen. read more

At that moment, I received a text message that they were ready to do my blood draw. I told her I received the message and she told me I had to sit back down and wait because she'd repeatedly called me. After confirming she would call me, I reminded her how to pronounce my name. She just continued to look at her paperwork with no acknowledgement. While I waited, I was stunned to see one of the phlebotomists go to the water cooler in the waiting area (which was empty) to get water while WEARING her disposable gloves! This is a very basic infection control violation, and makes me wonder what other subpar practices occur in that clinic. I am a healthcare provider and would typically have brought attention to the glove issue, however, I knew it would've not been accepted well given the attitude regarding my name call. This place is impossible to like. I've been to many other locations and this is my least favorite but the most convenient since it's in the same building as my doctor. Waiting times are excessively long. 3-4 techs helping one person at a time. Maybe I'm missing information and they were training or something but this happens every time I come here. I get blood drawn at least 5x/year and I would not come here again if someone was going to pay me. I waited 1 hour in the lobby and then an additional 20 minutes after they called me back before walking out. Total bs. I highly recommend you look for a better location than this one. read more

I don't really understand the bad reviews here I had a great experience. I was a walk in on a Wednesday morning and they were able to see me within 5-10mins. I tend to pass out with blood draws if I don't lay down and they were very accommodating and understanding and did the draw with no issues. I felt very comfortable and the staff was really nice. My first visit here today. Positives: The tech was nice. No waiting because I had an appointment and checked in per email instructions. The tech couldn't get my vein on the first try so she had the wherewithal to use a different needle. Success! My veins roll and they are deep. Negative: Confusion. Google maps got me here, but the building is massive. I couldn't find the front door. Got lost and tried many doors that actually were meant for employees. Epic fail. Then by chance, I found a door. If you go here, just know there is plenty of parking. Their main door is on the opposite side of the parking garages. Once you find your way into the building go into the lab Corp office (same floor as the main door) and scanners are inside there for your checkin. If you don't like technology, just step up and tell the tech you're there. read more

Understaffed and seems to be a lot of turnover / inexperienced staff without leadership. Just not good systems in place; the staff try and are pleasant but are overworked. read more

I've only been here once but had a great experience the other day. My doctor sent in an order, I made an appointment online, went inside and only waited maybe 5-10 minutes before being seen. Are you kidding me? All these reviews giving poor scores for this office, I had the exact opposite experience! Fantastic! Although the office doesn't have any signs on the campus, my phones navigation system took me directly to the front of the office! This office services a large area and is part of a larger and very busy medical center. However I walked in, checked in on the kiosk, and was immediately called back to the room! I waited less than 2mins. The phlebotomist was amazing. She was professional and filled 4 tubes with one stick! I was in and out in less than 10 mins. Although my experience might not be the norm, people need to adjust their expectations. Short staffing in healthcare has created a crisis, not just inside hospitals. It's not the staffs fault. I booked an appt online, signed in when I parked, and went to the waiting room. I was called within 5 minutes and they asked the name of my doc, then confirmed the tests that would be needed. I waited 2-3 more minutes, then labs were collected efficiently. I was glad there was no extended wait as I was fasting. My appt was at 8:45 and I was done and out the door at 9:07. I am both upset end truly disgusted at how I was treated today. I had an appointment not a single person getting blood drawn or waiting in waiting room and I walk both members of labcorp staff were not wearing masks and instead of them checking me in they said check yourself in. They of course call my name because not a soul was waiting . I walk it and they tell me they. This is the first time ever using this location. Unfortunately, my experience was very bad. The person I had seemed new. She was unable to successfully access my vein in my hand and tried yanking the needle out before she collapsed the butterfly, which hurt like hell and I am now swollen and bruised. I was concerned about having labs done at Labcorp in Renton based on the reviews I read, but was surprised to have a fairly positive experience overall. Parking was plentiful and finding the lab was easy. Once I arrived, there were 2 kiosks for self check in. Each kiosk had a basket with sanitizing wipes so you could sanitize the touch screens before and after using which I really appreciated. I had an 8am appointment and arrived at about 7:45, the waiting room was completely empty and I only saw one other person arrive after me. After checking in on the kiosk, the staff member at the front desk called me up to verify my insurance. There was a large plexiglass barrier between the front desk staff and patients which was great for safety. Once my insurance was verified, I was brought to a blood draw chair to wait. I only waited about 5 minutes before the phlebotomist drew my blood. She was very friendly and drew my blood painlessly and quickly. My only concern and reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was due to my experience in the restroom where I had to collect a urine sample. They asked that I collect the sample and place it on the tray on top of the toilet. This was concerning because normally urine samples are placed in a metal window and taken right away by staff. When I went into the restroom there were several urine samples from other patients sitting on top of the toilet. I felt nervous leaving my sample there where I felt they could easily be tampered with or could very easily be knocked into the open toilet. It would be great if samples were collected after every person and brought somewhere more secure. Otherwise, my experience was overall positive and I would feel comfortable having labs done there again. Results were also very fast as my doctor called me the next day with results. read more

Worst Lab. Lobby was full, folks had been waiting for over an hour and only one tech running the front desk and drawing blood. Kept saying that LabCorp was aware and had promised to hire more help. The new check in kiosks are a waste of time. Tech had to stop what he was doing to help people enter info. I am sure they charge our insurance good money, yet they don't hire people to support and they try to save money by replacing employees with machines. Worst Lab experience ever. read more

I ordered a test via. WalkIn Lab, and this lab is for Pacific Medical Center, not a walk in center. The lady at the front desk was very courteous and offered to still do the test for us anyway even if she might get in trouble, she said, as we'd already driven all the way there. She was fun, professional, friendly, and made us feel at ease. The blood draw was effortless and couldn't even feel it go in. This was on a Saturday morning so I can't say how it is in the week.
