Terrible in every way. I took a test and never got the results after 10 days. I called them and they said it was put on hold, but on one ever called me to tell me there was any problem, now I need to do it again and I'm sick and my doc need the results to treat me. They think this is a joke. Also, can't get in easy, must travel long distances to get in. They are too big and do everything poorly. read more

I had to take my daughter to get some lab work and the only reason we came here is because it was so close from her Dr's office. Nope- never again! We walked in and there was only one person sitting. I check my daughter in with a machine they have in the waiting area. It says 0 minutes wait time. A few minutes after the lady comes and gets the person in front of us. A little after that another employee walks in. Then the patient in front of me leaves. Then my daughter and I were able to hear the conversation between the 2 employees inside. They were screaming which I don't care but they continued to chat for 20+ minutes. Finally she comes and get us. She was not a charismatic person by any means! She was more arrogant and acted like she knew everything about everything!! Needless to say- do not visit this Quest location! read more

The most horrible place in the world. Came in and tried to get checked in on the screen, it was asking me to have my ID and insurance card ready, I was reading what the screen said and a worker came up to me and said "PRESS YES I CONSENT" rushing me. I pressed yes and tried to tell her I didn't have my insurance card and it's going to ask me to scan it. Didn't even get a chance to get a letter of my word before this freak said "WHAT? WHAT YOU DONT HAV A DRIVER's LICENSE?" okay... anyway it's asking me to scan my ID, I put it in she says flip it over, I didn't know if she meant flip it the other way around or upside down, she IMMEDIATELY lost patience and started coming at me. I asked her to just be a little patient with me she snapped back instantly and said "IM TRYING TO TELL YOU WHAT TO DO AND YOU'RE NOT DOING IT SO COME ON WE GOTTA HURRY YOU'RE NOT DOING WHAT IM TELLING U TO DO" I again asked, could you just be a little patient and nicer? This is my fourth time using this Quest location over the years to get blood work drawn for my PCP. I booked an appointment online for 11:50, but wasn't seen till 12:18. I was able to check in on my phone and received a text notification when I was about ready to be seen at 11:57 (so I could stay in my car till they were ready for me). Their waiting room is quite small with limited seating considering the 10-15 people waiting to be seen . They have a check in kiosk too if you don't book online for walk ins, so it's all contactless check in. The staff was extremely polite, professional, friendly, and very quick with my blood work. Congratulations! You did it! You provided the WORST service I have ever received. I was the only person in the lobby and there was one person being helped behind the glass door. I had the audacity to interrupt their personal conversation with my request for blood work. There were multiple people working having side conversations and laughing. When my number was called I stood at the door because there's no one at the front desk to greet you. The technician looked at me and looked away didn't acknowledge me with eye contact or nod. I tried to get her attention because not only was I being called but I was trying to determine whether or not I needed to fast for my blood work. I stood there for 10 minutes. She was super inconvenienced when she finally did open the door and didn't say hello or tell me her name. She said very curtly we were helping someone else. Side note- how miraculous that two people can draw blood from one person at the same time!! She continued to treat me with complete rudeness the entire time she drew my blood had zero bedside manner and was blatantly disrespectful. If she hates her job so much- she should quit! I mean PLEASE quit! When someone comes in to get lab work done- they're having health issues! I've gone through cancer treatment and had amazing people do transfusions and blood work and this was by far the most horrific experience ever. If you have no people skills get out of this business- immediately!!!! Additionally she was careless with the draw. I already have a bruise forming. I will never ever ever go back and I will tell anyone I ever come across that this was an awful experience. Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience with one of the phlebotomists/techs. As I was sitting in one of the treatment rooms, Sinda (sp) told me I had a balance due and couldn't provide me with the procedure. I told her the issue was resolved and paid. She said it isn't reflected on her screen. I asked her to contact the Quest billing group. She declined and said that wasn't for her to do, that I had to call them from the waiting room. Even the assistant who was with her had a look of embarrassment on her face concerning the attitude I was given. I went to the waiting room to make the call. Waited in queue for someone to pick up, then another lady (Maria) came back out to get me. She said "let me help you resolve this". Maria was amazing. Told her there wasn't a balance due. She kindly overrode the system and provided me the service. I thanked her for her kind and helpful manner. But I told her this experience was embarrassing and humiliating, and that this was not her fault, but the fault of one person. I hope someone from Quest will contact me to discuss this, but won't hold my breath. read more

I have written positive reviews in the past and usually have a good experience with the technicians. However, there is a mask wearing policy listed at the facility, but Quest DOES NOT enforce it at all! Many seniors come to this facility and Quest Corp at this location doesn't respect and protect their clients by enforcing their own mask policy. We are still in a pandemic! Had my doctor fax information to Quest. Walk-in times online stated 3 mins. Once I arrived, entered in my information to the system as a walk-in. Monitor in the waiting room said 3 mins as well. Waited over 2 hours to be told I would have to go to LabCorp. TLDR: Just go to LabCorp if you can. Avoid this facility at all costs. read more

Do not go to the Quest in Prosper, Texas located inside Walmart. I had an appointment and checked in. The waiting room was overcrowded so I waited right outside the door, which was propped open, of the lab since there was no space inside. When I finally got in, after waiting an absurd amount of time AFTER my appointment, I was told I had been called back two times. I offered feedback that if someone had checked in, wouldn't you call again, a little louder, if nobody responded rather than just moving onto the next name? I was then treated as if I was in error for not hearing them. I was also accused of lying by the manager who said "you haven't been waiting there the entire time". I explained I had been right outside the door, again, which was propped open with people clearly waiting there, because there was no room inside. She said "we are not allowed to go outside the door." No apology, just treated as if I had been in the wrong for not hearing my name being called. I will drive a further distance in the future to avoid this lab at all costs. I am no stranger to labwork, I just have not been to a quest in over 5 years. So their online cost estimator told me I could expect the procedure to cost under $200. Great! With insurance no problem. Right? NOPE! I was not informed of any expected payments aside from the copay, and even if there was a small surprise, knowing the estimate was under $200 I was mentally prepared for bill surprises based on reviews. So going in feeling aware and informed, I had to wait in a packed, uncomfortable waiting room with zero employee interaction, with sick people coughing all over the place. I checked myself in via the kiosk (which I didn't mind at the time, but this adds to the negative overall experience). I waited 30 past my scheduled appointment time to be seen. The tech was nice enough, but I was left with a massive bruise from the blood draw. As someone who is always getting labs done this has NEVER happened to me. A hemotologist told me this happens when places like this cheap out and don't use a "butterfly" when taking blood. Finally, I received a surprise bill. They charged $650 for what was estimated online to be under $200. Luckily I have insurance that covered some of this. I tried to call to get clarification on the cost billed vs estimate but the phone system wasn't working and kept looping. I have been seeing doctors for chronic issues for 5 years at this point. I have had numerous surgeries. And I have NEVER had a surprise like this. If you have several hundred dollars to throw away by all means this is your place. I am just dumbfounded. read more

went to Denton location at DRs request for A1C blood test. They offered a B12 shot. I should have asked how much because it was several times more than what the doctor's office charges. Medicare did not cover so the are billing me. However, the are also billing me for a vitamin D-3, which I did NOT ask for or GET. $241.84, also not covered by Medicare! The phone number for questions always is a rapped busy. Can not get to anyone to discuss this. If you go there always ask HOW Much before letting them do anything. read more

What an incredibly rude person. Confrontational on every question I answered. She wouldn't accept electronic orders from my doctors portal. Insisted on a paper copy but wouldn't allow me to print them there. She did however allow the doctor to fax them. I'm not quite sure what the differences between me printing them from my portal and the doctor faxing them other than the fact that it made me very uncomfortable. Then she insisted that I pay a balance for a previous labs that were not even 30 days out. When I asked to be billed since I didn't have my healthcare debit card I got attitude for that as well. When I asked a question concerning MY test orders she rolled her eyes and gave a rude "yeah." I have never written a yelp review before, so that tells you something! When taking my blood pressure was asking me about a bill that I was not responsible for. And kept using a blood pressure machine that was not working. I had an appointment scheduled and they took me back shortly after I had signed in. However, the staff member who performed my blood draw was extremely inadequate. She was unable to find a vein in one of my arms and after about 3 minutes of continuous poking and prodding I asked for her to remove the needle and she continued to try to find the vein despite me outwardly saying I was in pain. Then when she switched to the other arm she tied the tourniquet too tight cutting off the circulation in my arm. When I asked for her to loosen it she said no. Finally after another 5 minutes of preparing my other arm she was able to draw my blood. Both my arms have huge bruises on them and the doctor completely ignored my concerns. For a center with a primary purpose of lab work and blood draws, I was expecting a much higher level of competence on how to draw blood. I will never be returning to this Quest and I recommend others to avoid it. read more

Took my 1 year old daughter here to get some blood work for allergy testing. I know this isn't a pediatric office but the tech was not kid friendly or even human friendly. He treated us like we were robots. It seemed like he was a robot himself. My daughter was so frightened she cried the entire time and he did not give a rats a**. I'm giving it a 3 star bc another tech came over to help calm her down. She was very friendly. The service was quick but I don't think I'll take my kids here for any testing again. read more

I visited this lab today. My blood draw was okay. However while I was in the waiting room a verbal altercation occurred between a patient waiting for a drug screening and two of the Quest employees. It made me and everyone else in the waiting room feel very uneasy. I think additional employee training may be needed on how to better handle these type of situations. read more

They don't answer their phone. Tried to call to confirm receipt of my doctor's orders but they require you to drive there and inquire at the location. This is a waste of my time. If they have not yet received my doctor's orders then I have to sit there and wait for them to request it, then wait for next available time slot to be seen - a bigger wasted of my time. All because they only have an automated telephonic system and don't allow you to speak to a human being. Is this the epitome of healthcare in America? read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would, I understand walk ins aren't a priority but these techs acted like work wasn't a priority to them at all. I showed up at for a preemployment drug screening at 12:49 pm with 2 people ahead of me but didn't leave until 2:15 pm. I had seen all the 1 stars reviews prior to showing up but I didn't want to believe it was that bad. Unfortunately this clinic definitely lives up to its 2 star rating without a doubt. Majority of the hold up was due to unnecessary standing around and conversation amongst the techs that last for about 15-20 minutes right in front of your face. This place is also nothing but terrible attitudes and personalities, you can tell by over hearing the loud personal conversations while you extensively wait or by the rude behavior you're greeted with while you're being "helped". I feel bad for anyone who actually has to receive real medical treatment from this place. I wish I had listened to the reviews it seems like this is normal behavior for this clinic. Very slow service. We signed in but that apparently serves no purpose at all. No one was at the front desk the whole time we sat and rotted in the waiting area. They claimed to be having computer issues but that's not our problem. I offered to just make an appointment but I was told my mom would be seen in about 10 minutes. A half hour later, we were still sitting in the waiting room with no sign that anyone was going to see my mom. That's when I started this review. I wanted to write while I was pissed off. Bottom line, they don't seem to give a damn about anyone's time. I won't bring my mom back to this dump. Ever. read more

Horrible Experience. They estimated $200 for my test based on my insurance details but later provided me a bill of $900.Estimate can be different than actual bills but this much difference really raises concerns. Providing wrong estimates for tests mislead patients and later you just owe them. When followed up, only answer is this is my responsibility and I can enroll in their payment plan. Invoice # 6808556560. Point is I decided to get test done based on its estimate provided but would not have done it otherwise. Not going to use their services in future. read more
