Came in at 11:20, checked in for walk in. Literally sitting for 25 min and they haven't called one patient in yet. 1135 someone comes out and says rudely "is everyone checked in because there's more bodies then check-ins." Yes I'm with a child, another person with an elderly person. The staff are very rude and unprofessional. Kind of like they don't even wanna do their job, maybe switch your job if you hate it so much. I was so nervous after reading others reviews. The process was so easy and my tech Kristin who drew my blood was awesome. FYI this office in particular locks the doors to the waiting room up to 20 minutes before close. People standing at the door knocking trying to get in while you have to sit there and watch it happen. I have never been to a quest that does that and I drop off labs at quests all the time. The staff here are a joke read more

There isn't anyone to answer the phone for questions. Then calling the customer service number will have you on hold for 20 minutes. When I got to the location i signed in without an appointment and ended up waiting an hour and a half to be seen. When I asked the nurse when was my turn she told me she didn't know it's based on whatever the checking kiosk does, appointments are priority. I then made an appointment at 10:30 and she said I was still considered a walk-in. The lobby cleared out twice and I sat watching the number of patients being seen go up and down. I don't know why I had such an issue Friday morning. I've always done walk-in and NEVER EVER waited longer than 20 minutes. When they were upstairs the staff was wonderful. Looks like they have all new people who are horrible. The lady didn't even read back my name to make sure she had everything correct. And I didn't think about it until I got home. read more

Don't waste your time at this unprofessional and unorganized place. They barely check to make sure they're pulling the correct patients for their "appointments." It doesn't matter if you schedule an appointment or if you're a walk-in. They will mess it up and not own up to their mistakes. Mistakes are made, and that's understandable but don't lie about it. For example, how can you tell me that my name was already called when I've been sitting in that small waiting room for the past 35 minutes? I know what my name is... it's not my fault you don't. I've been here 3x and they're consistent on messing up, I'll give them that. read more

Came here today for a 3 hour pregnancy glucose test. The phlebotomist was extremely rude. Said two words to me the entire time. Was feeling nauseous from the drink and tried to walk around the hallway (was yelled at by multiple employees. You would think that with social distancing being mandated that they would allow me to pace in a hallway located 5 feet away from the waiting room) when I explained to my phlebotomist that I was feeling nauseous she said "you know where the bathroom is". After an hour I popped in the small room to ask if she was ready for me at which point she stopped eating her snacks and playing on her phone to say no, you have three more minutes....sorry to interrupt your sequence of three one- hour breaks Here's the thing- don't treat me like an a--hole while you Sit in a room and play on your phone. Try learning empathy and professionalism. I hope to never come back here. read more

Please do yourself a favor and go to any other quest. I received a text alert that my doctor send an order over and they got it. When I went there the lady who called us back asked where our order was and said she didn't have it in their system, which was incorrect but whatever I was moved back to the waiting room to Call my doctor and have him fax it again which he did immediately. She said it could take a day before they see it, so now my kids gotta miss out on school cuz this order was rushed for him and she wouldn't take us. I'm pregnant and hormonal and I was just balling in the waiting room which didn't help but she just looked at me like I was insane. We left. Got the order sent to Orland Park after calling my doctor for a third time and we'll be going Friday, I'll probably have nothing but good things to report about them as I've never had an issue in Orland before. Thanks for ruining our day and wasting my time instead of helping figure out where the order went after confirming with quest it was received. I even had the actual fax receipt showing the order but she said I needed to print it. Help a lady out. Let me send it and get it printed. Soooooo annoyed. Update: Orland Park was great and found the order right away using my doctors name instead of my son's... Maybe a suggestion for Oak Lawn instead of wasting our time and gas money. Thanks! read more

I read so many poor reviews it made me apprehensive-- for nothing. This place was so efficient. The only thing they need to update is that they offer walk ins everyday. And if you are having a fasted blood test- your Dr. Should mention you can drink water. I came close to 7am, checked in at a kiosk, and was called 18 min later. They have a screen that lets you know your order. Social distancing was well observed here. The environment was clean. And Marna my phlebotomist was so nice! I asked for her name because I think it's important to acknowledge who's helping you. All the staff there were nice to the patients who came in. They were very hard working taking patient after patient. Very nice place with a good group of people. Don't hesitate! read more

Went early 730am and had a 24 min walk in wait time, then after 20 minutes it changed to 21 min and then 15 min later it changed to 12 min and then a few minutes later 54 min wait. There were only 2 techs without a support staff and by the time I walked out it was a full room of 15+ people - almost standing room only. There are no appointments on Saturdays, so it is sign in, first come, first serve basis. We arrived 5 minutes before opening,and there were a bunch of people waiting to get in! The staff was polite, and facilitated orderly sign in. There were 6 ahead of me, and there is a system to give your estimated wait time on a tv monitor in the waiting area. Pretty cool! Anyway, I was taken care of quickly. My phlebotomist was good, found a vein right away, very little discomfort, drew the sample, and applied the band aid. I was in and out within 35 minutes. One of the worst experiences I have had. Staff are all cackling and laughing in the back, ignoring the people in the waiting room. What's the point in making an appointment if you still have to wait more than 15 minutes? My wait time when checking in was supposed to be 2 minutes, then the walk timer said 5 minutes for about half an hour. What a joke. read more

I truly wish I could leave a zero star review. There only had one person working and had a room full of people. I waited over 30 minutes just to find out they couldn't see me. They don't answer there phones and when I asked the employee if they had working phones, her response "sorry we don't have a secretary" truly shocked me. I just had blood drawn. Very skillfully done. Didn't hurt at all. There seemed to be only one individual there for quite a few clients. One couple, offput by the touchscreen sign-in, left immediately. I was handled quickly and efficiently though i clearly did not know all the requirements, insurance card, prescription, etc. I was puzzled however, at the end, i was questioned about whether I was carrying a blade. Not sure if they are supposed to ask things like that. I quickly left to look up the knife laws for Illinois. What a relief to find my pocket knife was not in violation. But I was rattled by the confrontation. I imagine they get their share of surrly types that get irritated having been sent by their physician for tests and have to prove that they are not there recreationally for blood tests. read more

Have been waiting in excess of an hour for a standard blood draw. Over 30 minutes ago approached staff member at window for an approximate wait time and was dismissed as she had no way of knowing. Completely unacceptable! Others have been called that arrived with and after me. Understand if they had a scheduled appointment but this is ridiculous. I'm now late for another appointment. Still waiting!!!! Update----waited 90 minutes for a standard blood draw. Only two staff members actually called patients during the time I was there. The third employee was doing?????? Elderly patients did not know where to register because periodically someone was trying to get assistance at the window and was blocking the registration iPad. For most of the 90 minutes no one was attending the window. It took approximately 5-10 minutes for the staff to update their system with the doctors order, collect my payment and do the blood draw. At most that means you're servicing four to six patients per hour. With two staff members that equates to eight to twelve patients per hour. What was the third staff member doing???? Mystery of the day and why I missed my other appointment. Oh, and when I tried to call the Patient Advocacy number 610-454-6075, it went to a recording advising they were busy with other callers, but I could leave a message. Really!!! Lady who drew my blood and did my tests was very rude. Had an attitude from the moment she called my name. She got so mad I didn't blow into a bag correctly so she said ugh you did it wrong, threw the bag in the trash walked out to get more bags and slammed a box of it on the table. When she asked me for my insurance and I thought she was done I walked back to my seat and she said nuh uh get back here. When I was done with a portion of my test she sent me to the waiting room and when she came back out to get me she just stared at me and pointed her finger at the room she wanted me to come in. I walked in for blood work. Waited less than 10 minutes and this was literally the only place in YEARS where they were able to get all the blood they needed from one stick. I only wish I could remember the name of the phlebotomist, as she was terrific. I actually walked out with a smile on my face and no bruises on my arms. read more

My young son needed bloodwork done. We were at Quest shortly after they opened. We had no appointment. I did not get the phlebotomist's name, but she was a young, pretty, African American lady with long braids. My son had never had blood drawn before. She was very patient and explained exactly what was going to happen. Her compassion made his first visit for lab work an easy process. I commend her for her empathy and kindness toward my scared child. read more

I was really dreading having to go to this lab because of the terrible reviews. I had to get some blood drawn, so I went in there expecting the worst. I am happy to say that this place was awesome. I checked in, waited about 5 minutes and was out of there in less than a half an hour! The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. I had an appointment this morning at 8:45am to get a biometric screening for my employer. I arrived 15 minutes early and checked-in. After waiting about 5 minutes my name was called. The phlebotomist was very quick, efficient, and courteous. She confirmed the purpose of my visit, checked identification, weighed me, measured my height, took my blood pressure, and then took a blood sample. The entire process took less than 10 minutes. I definitely recommend this location if you are looking for quick, basic service. Make an appointment, show up prepared and on time, and get on with your day. read more

Went to this location without an appointment after receiving a phone call from my Dr.'s office regarding a follow-up test that was ordered based on my results from a test a day before. Checked in on the I-Pad and was immediately called. As one phlebotomist was on the computer looking up my order and printing labels another phlebotomist walked in and asked me my arm preference and as soon as the label was printed, she stuck me and I was finished. Asked to verify my info on the computer and sign digitally and I was done. I spent a total of 8 minutes at the facility including the time it took me to park and come to their 3rd floor location. I had a wonderful experience and wanted to write this review because it seems like the only reviews for this location that are being posted are of a negative nature. Wish I had gotten the names of the ladies that assisted me so I could recognize them in this post. I would not hesitate to come back to this location and have my blood drawn again. read more

I had an appointment and since I got there one of the lady (young girl) if you can call the person a "lady" had such a bad attitude. There were two young ladies around their 30's that are at the front desk have no customer service at all, they are very rude, they don't treat the patients with respect specially the Hispanic.
