This place has the most inefficient processes, and they have such terrible systems in place for all their administrative tasks. The actual tests and results are quick, but you'll want to rip your own eyes out while waiting for them to get all the paperwork straightened out. read more

My doctor always sends me to Quest Diagnostics for my blood tests and I really like this location. It is very neat and orderly. You can make an appointment by calling the 800 number easily or just go in during their business hours and wait. The staff are experts at what they do and you will be in and out of there in no time. read more

Don't make people wait in line and after 50 min of waiting. I was told that my insurance is not accepted. I appreciate you telling me that so I don't get a surprise bill. I came in 2 months ago and yes my insurance paid a chunk of it and I had to pay $80 and I did. You should Check insurance first and also somehow let the clinic know so they don't refer Quest if my insurance are not accepted. What a waste of my time. read more

Not bad! Only bad part is that parking is paid. $4 for the first 60 min or so. They do not validate parking. I showed up 20 min late from my appointment. But I was still able to get in pretty quick, faster than people that walked in. They were nice and helpful. I had to do 2 hrs GTT (glucose tolerance test) and chose to go to this location since I've had good experience in the past. Despite that I had to drive in a traffic for 1 hr and knowing that I will have to wait w/o appointment on Saturday I took my chances since I had to have test done ASAP. I arrived at their old location on 18250 unknowing that they had moved but luckily their new location is right across the street right where hospital is. Once I arrived to their new location I barely finished putting my info on electronic device when the nurse asked for my test slip and insurance card. She scanned my card and took me in right away. I did not even sit in a waiting room. I was super nervous seeing a lot of young phlebotomists there but all for nothing. Rosa was the one who took care of me. She was nice, made me feel comfortable and all 3 times she poked me for the test she did a great job. No fishing around with needle, no intolerable pain and no bruises! Wow They have a separate waiting room inside for patients that need to repeat test. Small room with TV and few reclining chairs. It was awesome to kick back, relax and browse on my phone. Time went by faster this way. I would've been miserable having to sit on regular chair for 2 hrs with the rest of patients in a waiting room. I was in at 8:30 and out at 10:55 am Not sure if they took me in quickly since I was pregnant or because of the test since it's lengthy but I am happy and grateful for the fast service. There are 10 divided and numbered rooms, 4 separate and roomy bathrooms and one of the "poke" rooms had a bed for faint patients. Place was clean, obviously renovated. 2 hrs 25 min being there I did not see or hear any phlebotomist being impolite to patients. I will continue coming here for all my tests even if I have to wait for a long time. read more

I came to quest lab . The lady was at the door was very short and rude . Quest is open until 12pm it's was 1130 . I asked if I could get a blood test and she said that they were close so everyone that was walking she sent away . Her and her security guard was discussing how horrible quest corporate is while I was standing there. I also asked her to help me with my online appointment and she said she couldn't. Awful service, they lost my tubes the phlebotomist was rude didn't listen to me was rushing somewhere didn't bother checking that I have 2 order from 2 different doctors was arguing with me instead of doing her job. The Asian lady here does not know how to draw blood for babies. I think her name is Cecile or cilo I don't know but she does not know what she is doing. She couldn't get any blood out my 1 year old and was moving the needle around instead of taking it out and trying it again. His arm got all bruised in his little arm. My husband has been here for lab test every month. Most time and most staffs are good. But unfortunately some of them are very rude. Today, my husband asked a butterfly needle. She responded that she prefer to use the regular needle. Even though my husband requested three time to use butterfly needle, she used the regular needle, pretending she used the butterfly needle. Got here at 1 PM on a Friday without an appointment. Luckily seen right away. Staff (Angela and Janeira) were very kind and professional. My blood draw was almost painless and everything was clean. I liked that they gave me an estimated out-of-pocket cost given my insurance. Cost me $140 for a bunch of immunization titers I needed for work. One star off for no free parking, but I was able to park on a side street nearby. read more

Made an appointment on the scheduler website during the hours allotted for us "over 60 types", walked into an immaculate facility. My bottom barely hit the chair when I was called for my blood draw by a smiling faced team member. I have never seen such a well oiled machine. Every cubicle was clean, well stocked and filled with an attentive professional phlebotomist. I was lucky to get the charming Michele Agbodzi who drew my vials so quick and beautifully it doesn't even look like I gave blood, she is a credit to her profession. Kudos to Quest for selecting her to represent your company not only is she talent she has a warmth with the patient that cannot be matched reminding them she is in cubicle 6 when sent for a specimen and needing to return to her. As a senior going out solo I appreciate that so much, it's those little things that are so endearing. They cost nothing but mean millions to US. She is a true leader and I see her as a trainer for Quest in the future as she is a super star especially since she speaks many languages, she's truly an asset. DO NOT MISS this one Quest!!! This location is a JOKE. I dislike most Quest Diagnostic lab locations, just out of being pricked by so many needles from this company, but this location that supposedly specialized in pediatric draws, takes the cake for d-baggery to a whole new level. We were referred to this location by the Children Genetics Division of UCLA as it is located closer to our house and, we were told, they specialize in pediatric blood draws. Our experience could not have gone any worse. The lab technicians were rude and would not listen to any of our suggestions for how to find our child's vein. You would think we would know as we have seen other labs draw blood with no issue, but the staff here, especially someone who said her name was "Michelle A." felt the need to tell us that we "shouldn't tell them how to do their job." A second technician came in, someone who claimed to be the site lead, she went by the name Patricia, and was trying to defend the actions of her coworker. When we asked for a manager we were told none were available. Needles to say we left. When your lab technicians act in the manner they did, and then refuse to give us their full names for fear of being reported, that speaks volumes. EDIT: Got a call from the area group lead, Angela Patel, who basically defended her staff and said if we really wanted the names, all we had to do was look at the badge of the employee. She seemed incredulous that i was saying her lab tech wasnt following protocol, maybe thats something she should take up with her tech instead of questioning us. THESE LADIES ROCK. I forgot my paperwork at home by accident and my phlebotomists did absolutely everything she could to get it from my dr office. When I decided to just run home to grab the paperwork I didn't have to wait even a second when I returned and she took me right back and did an INCREDIBLE job drawing my blood. I barely felt anything at all! I have a history of passing out, and she was so fantastic and made me so comfortable that I didn't even get close. This office is hardworking, compassionate, and overall awesome. I like the self check-in process and large quiet waiting room, and I'll definitely be going back. read more

With an appointment, i had to check in 3 times, only to find out that i still show up as a walk in. Waited for 1.5 hours. No one at front desk. As a matter of fact there is no front desk. Very disorganized - unable to make appointment online. Went as walk in. Showed up at 6:30am before 7am opening. First person waiting. Only a couple people behind me and they turned me away even though they weren't servicing anyone at the time. Received a reply confirming the check in, then another stating they were ready at 9:49 a.m. Waited in a waiting room without ventilation, circulating air, or socially distant seating (2.5 ft. between chairs) with no fewer than 15 people simultaneously. Another 10-15 people were waiting in similar conditions in the hallway. At 10:49 a.m., over an hour after the stated appointment time, the appointment began. read more

QUEST NEEDS A BETTER CHECK IN SYSTEM! Scheduled an appointment for today at 8 am. It was chaos when I got there at 7:50. They schedule appts for like 5 people at the same time which makes no sense. When they opened the doors everyone just runs in to try to check in, it doesn't matter if you have an appointment or not. When finally checked in at 8:19 it said I was late and I would be considered a walk in now, I was so upset. When I finally was called in, the phlebotomists (ANGELA) that was attending me was very knowledgeable and help full!! She was great assisting me, thank you Angela. read more

Came in for my 1 yr old 8:00 appt during covid times. Wasn't a good experience and didn't feel safe at all! I was expecting, since this is a laboratory and mostly immunocompromised people go there (pregnant, ppl that need frequent blood draws, seniors etc) that this place would step up their game for cleanliness, sanitizing and most of all keeping the covid guidelines always in place. Came at 8:00, then per login i have to wait 16 minutes- option of sitting in their social distanced chairs or wait outside. Waited outside the hallway esp i have a 1 yr old that wouldn't use any face coverings at all. There were "acceptable people"- maybe 10- max 15? Ppl in the waiting area.... lo and behold few minutes more and by the time i got called in plus me carrying my baby there were a lot of ppl inside- checking in their ipad (which doesnt even have some wipes to clean it for next use) and waiting. By the time i got to enter their hallway entrance was full- ppl asking questions, (no more social distancing by then), i was waiting for their "conversation" to be done till i found out which space area my son and i will be going to. When we left there were still lots of ppl in the waiting room. The drawing blood (8:18am) was good- props to the lady bec she got it first time with my baby boy crying and all. This place or Quest in general need to change their log-in/ signing in system. So not all ppl go inside all at the same time and check in the same time. Masks Wore worn and my temp was taken but the social distancing and keeping ppl to a minimum did not happen at all esp at their busy times. My husband went to labcorp 1 month ago and it was seamless!- check in online thru your phone, and he waited in the car. Got a text that he is next and then he went to the lab. Not a lot of ppl inside. Quest should follow this practice. Not a good thing when patients/ ppl actually feel unsafe going to the lab esp if they have no choice and have to be there. read more

If you have hard to find veins DO NOT COME HERE. The nurse I had was SO young and SO inexperienced. She couldn't find a vein AT ALL. She was wiggling the needle for so long and couldn't find anything. I would not come here if you're squirmish or want a good experience. After her failed attempts I felt like vomiting and passing out. Horrible experience wow! They do not take good care of their clients at all. Also the suite is so filthy and old. I'm not sure about the other Quest locations but this one is trash... read more

Went in for routine blood work. I let them know ahead of time that people often have trouble finding my deep set veins and that blood work can only ever be taken from one spot. The nurse who started helping me will remain nameless because she was kind just inexperienced. She couldn't find a vein so called in Albert who was extremely rude and Unprofessional. He had trouble finding a vein and said I'd have to come back another day or they'd have to go through my hands which is painful and unnecessary. When I told him no thank you can we please try someone else he threw his hands up and got frustrated at me and stormed off making me cry. Then the first nurse got Daisy to come in who was also extremely rude. She insisted on checking both arms even though my blood work can only ever be taken from one spot. She eventually "tried" the spot I first picked out and found a vein. She then refused to acknowledge that this was the spot I told them all to go through initially saying I pointed one centimeter over. Daisy then told me to just let them do their job, no reason to get upset. She also made a point to tell me it's not their fault I have very flat veins. This is not true, just something I'm told when people can't find them which has been expressed to me when I've come other times and they've found it no problem. read more

Arrive at 7:30 and wait in line until 8 AM, registered to only be told I need to go to LabCorp even though my doctor is in the same parking lot and given a sheet of paper with directions to Quest Diagnostic and to head to them. I quickly realized the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing at Quest Diagnostic. I went down the street to LabCorp to wait all over again. After this experience I truly feel LabCorp is more professional with helpful personnel working at this lab compared to Quest Diagnostic. Never again will I head back to Quest Diagnostic, the facility looks new but that's about it. read more

I went in last Saturday at 11:30am (they close at 12:00pm)m but I didn't have my new insurance card yet so I had to have my insurance company fax it over. I was on the phone with them for 30 (that in itself was annoying), but at 11:59am I finally got word that they were faxing the information over. The lady working behind the window knew what was going on and I told her it is being faxed right now. She said it's not here and we have to close. She was literally kicking me out when I was there for 30 minutes and knew that fax was on its way. I told her that the fax will be here before I get to the elevator. Her reply was that it's not here now so we have to close. Personally, I would never kick someone out who had been in the office for 30 minutes and told me the information I needed would be here in a couple minutes. She must have had plans after work. As frustrated I was with my insurance company for taking so long I was far more frustrated/upset with the lady who had no patience. I only give the one star because people were moving into the back rooms fairly quick. read more
