Yesterday was my six month visit to Quest Labs. I am a frequent flyer there! Lots of tests for my upcoming visit at Tampa General. I had a 7:30 AM appointment and literally was in and out in less than 15 minutes. They have even streamlined the check in process and since I had an appointment all I needed for check in was to scan my drivers license! Amazing! Most of the results are in already, early this morning. I hate to look at them but can't resist lol! The employees are very efficient and the whole process is very quick. So if you have to do it. I usually don't have a good experience with Quest, but today was the exception. I was taken in immediately, and I have to give a shout out for Hayden. He was friendly, compassionate and efficient. He found the vein on the first stick, which is rare for my experiences there. I barely felt anything past the initial stick, and he was done before I knew it. Great job, Hayden! read more

The staff here are amazing , they have to deal with a lot of people who don't understand processes or know how to make an appointment. They are all super nice, informative and if you have an appointment you're in and out fast. read more

I know everyone's experience is different but this was honestly my best experience getting blood drawn. I was prepared to wait a while as the office was very busy, but I was a walk in and waited about 10 minutes. The practitioners were kind and very caring. They answered questions I had and I didn't feel like they were trying to rush me out the door. Plus Janet did a great job - I didn't even feel the needle! I will be coming back here whenever I need to have blood drawn. read more

Very pleased, first time at this location. I was having problems checking in and waiting for someone to be called so I can ask why my check in was not accepting. A very polite phlebotomist name Janet came to the door to call a patient and I approached her to ask about my appt. She took the time to help me sign in within a 1 min. left to keep my appt. She even took the time to help others having problems. A minute later a another phlebotomist called my name. She was also awesome Great hands didn't even feel she had finished with my test, her name is Millie. Thank you Janet and Millie. I don't know of anyone who enjoys getting blood drawn, but the woman who did my blood draw was WONDERFUL! Gentle hands, calm demeanor- she made something I dread actually pleasant. Thank you, Kiya! Quest Diagnostic is a poorly run place. I missed the "APPOINTMENT REQUIRED" line on my instructions email and when I went in just a few minutes after they opened, I was told that I can wait to be seen or come back on another day with an appointment. It was a 1 hour and 15 minute round trip, so I decided to wait. They have a TV Screen with an estimate of your projected wait time. Several times, that wait time ticked down to as little as 4 minutes, but then jumped it would jump back to 17 - 22 minutes. Two hours later, my name was called and I was taken into an examination room. When I showed the woman my instruction sheet, she told me that another person did that procedure and I was directed back out to the waiting area. I waited again for another painful episode of "watch the clock". Up and down, over and over. Does the Management really not realize how frustrating this can be? I overheard several customers say to the young woman at the check in that they had appointments and were still waiting for extended periods of time. If I'd known that there would be no way to know how long I'd be waiting, I would have returned home and made an appointment for tomorrow. They could have told me that in the very beginning. They've probably had a great deal of experience with this on a daily basis. I'm sure their customers have gotten angry very often. That explains why the staff talk so rudely to the customers. Overbooking appointments is so very wrong. People have lives to live. What makes it worse is they are flippant about it as though you are entirely at fault. I then waited for another hour. Other customers were complaining around me about the long wait, wether they had appointments or not. At this point it had been over 3 hours and I asked if she could give me any idea how much longer it would be. She said no, she had no idea, but it could be hours. I left. Don't go here. I immediately made an appointment with a different Quest Diagnostic Lab and I was in and out in 15 minutes. read more

This is one of the worst companies I have ever had to do business with. I thought Comcast was bad. They encourage you to make an appointment but there's no appointments available. So you're going to walk in and they tell you it's going to be a while and then your name comes up on the screen your first name and last initial. Next to that it says a time when you'll be served. There's only one problem the time keeps changing so for an hour it'll continue to go down and down and down and I was down to 12 minutes so I came back in 10 and now it says 35 minutes. So I'll leave for 30 minutes I come back and it says 50 minutes. aaa read more

Had an appointment at Fowler St. on 12/30/21 the office was closed for maintenance. (no notification) Sign read that I could go to N. Fort Myers office, it too was closed, and empty. Next went to Del Prado office, it too was closed. Finally maintenance person directed me to Cape Coral office waited about an hour and had blood work. Very bad day with Quest. They are sort of cordial; mostly 'business y' but helpful. Efficient workers and usually on schedule by 10 minutes.

I went in the North Ft Myers location today, 3/6/24 at 5:30 am as a walk in (I was the first person there). The woman brought me back and told me starting next week they will discontinue accepting walk ins in the morning. She then looked at the schedule and told me they were completely booked (they always are, it takes at over a week to get any appointments, but you have always been able to arrive before 6 as a walk in and get blood work done). She asked me when my dr appointment was and told me they would not have any appointments until the day after my dr appointment and she couldn't do my blood work. What? This was after she told me other locations were closing early one day and hers wasn't, maybe she was resentful and took it out on me? I was pleasant with her, I don't think I made her angry but I had to leave and I reschedule my dr appointment and I scheduled the appointment at Quest myself. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE WAY I WAS TREATED! read more

I've been going to this Quest for many years. Aside from the receptionist, every other staff member, phlebotomists, has been professional and personable. I would recommend this lab, but if you're sensitive about abrupt, less than friendly people, you'll get your feelings hurt by that receptionist. read more

Zero stars is what it deserves. This morning my husband had a 10am appointment. They had no record of it. He had a confirmation number. No record! He waited 2 1/2 hours with nothing to eat. We have no option of where to go. Our insurance BCBS of Florida says we have to go to Quest. This was not the first time it has happened to one or the other of us. My next complaint is to Quest itself and to our insurance company, but I'm not expecting any changes. You do what they tell you to do, but they don't do what they are supposed to! Maybe if we all complain about how they do business! read more

Very disappointed in today's visit. Called yesterday to confirm they had my doctors order, which they did have. After fasting and driving to clinic the following day, and waiting 20 min. the receptionist said they did not have the orders. I called Corp again and confirmed the orders. They called the clinic 3 times while I was standing there and they would not answer the phone. I stood at the counter and was repeatedly told to sit in the waiting area. I was told to tell the receptionist to " check the national orders". Finally she did so, confirmed the orders and had me sit and wait another 20 minutes. She was quite rude and obstinate. I received a return call from the clinic manager. She was very understanding and said she will follow up with the receptionist, as the clinic receives many out of state orders and protocol requires thorough and accurate check of the computer, which had not been done initially. read more

First, the online appointment maker is not user friendly. When you log in, and choose your tests that you need, it sends you to a different website for routine wellness tests. After getting locked out of the site, I just went there and signed in to get the test done. After waiting over an hour, I nicely asked the woman at the desk about how long it would be. She asked if I had an appointment. I explained my issues with the website. She rudely told me I have to leave and make an appointment. I told her that I was not able to and asked if I could make one with her. More rudely, she said no and told me to just make another account to log in. Really? The attitude she gives off is one of, this is a service that will always be needed so it doesn't matter what kind of customer service is given. read more

I've been here twice and been greeted by rude and disorganized staff both times. I understand that these are difficult times and COVID provides a lot of challenges, however, there is a right way and a wrong way to deal with them. Treating customers like they are doing you a favor is not the way to do it. read more

Each time our family comes here we get in and out quickly and staff is very pleasant.

Scheduled an appointment for 10/17/19, arrived 20 minutes early only to find that the location had decided to cancel their appointments from noon on. They left two alternate locations to visit, one in FM and one in CC; however, when you've fasted all morning long and have to use the bathroom their surprise close/options were not an option for me. It would have at least made considerate business sense if they would have emailed the people who were responsible enough to schedule appointments to notify them they were closing early. I had an appointment made weeks ago I had my lab work order on my phone ready for them and the lady was so not helpful completely not capable of doing her job I had their logo exact lab form ready to be done my exact doctors orders I had everything ready and they would not do it because it wasn't faxed to them and they wouldn't let me print on their printer or email the form to them. Couldn't reach my doctor of course in the exact time I needed her to answer and They would do nothing to help me the lady was an absolute imbecile and completely inhuman. Never going back to this location because the other ones NEVER were this illiterate. Should have gotten her name but her description is the lady at the door who is heavier set and dark skin. Called my doctor in tears because it should've been a simple thing and this lady could have done more I have worked in doctors offices I know she could have she just is incompetent and lazy and does not care about the actual people she's working for.
