Wrote an e-mail to quest only to be ignored. They definitely do not care about customers.

They should really work on being more discreet. I practically had to yell to them my information and why I was there. She didn't even try and lower her own voice. One of the ladies who helped me just held up my sample for everyone in the waiting area to see. It didn't help that some of the people waiting seemed to be staring and actively listening to my conversation with the lady. And like most places here in Miami the workers seem to be hating life working there. read more

Ana Alonso is the best nurse ever. I am extremely terrified of needles and she was so patient and kind and I didn't feel a thing :) I recommend you go to her if you are getting a blood test done here. Unprepared staff. This place ran out of special lab tubes a few days ago and could care less to order more ahead of time before running out. I had made an appointment and got there after driving quite a distance to find out I had to leave because they were unprepared. I will never go back there again. read more

My doctor did some blood draws; the samples were sent to Quest. I paid my dr for the blood draws. Quest was paid over $500 by my insurance company. It NEVER notified me there was a balance owed by me. Today, I went to Quest for a test ordered by another dr. I waited more than 30 minutes. Finally, The desk clerk said they would not give me the test unless I paid the balance first. What's the balance, I asked? $43.00, I was told. I reached into my pocket and handed the clerk $50. In cash. He says, I can't take money. I need a check, cashiers check, money order or a credit card. Really.... you have to go somewhere else and bring me back payment we can accept. So, US currency is invalid at Quest in Miami. I take back my prescription and walk out. I realize I left my insurance card on his counter. I go back for it and he refuses to return it. Now, I am getting angry. He threatens to call the police. I still don't have my test, or my ins. card and I went in there to give them my business and pay them what they said I owe. NEVER WILL I GO BACK THERE. LabCorp is around the corner. Gee, no problem there. Quest ... not worth the trouble! read more

After receiving horrible service from a nasty woman at the Quest Pinecrest office, I tried the Kendall Drive Quest. Wow, what a difference. The woman behind the counter (who was also the phlebotomist) was very nice, professional and efficient. We arrived close to closing time but it was not a problem. read more

Worse service ever . Imagine going for blood work and being in a situation where the police almost need to be called A little background information first - The quest diagnostic compant website and Corp 800 pre rerecoded message says walkins welcome. Last Saturday at the Kendal and 105 location there were 9 walkins customers wanting to be takin care of, however the manager Cary proceeds to tell us that the policy changed and no walkins are accepted on Saturday. We are telling Carry, as we are checking the website and dialing the 800 number to confirm, that the site and recordings are saying different. The situation got so heated between Carry, who was sticking to her no walk in on Saturday policy that she handed out on a piece of paper, and the 9 walk ins that it became riot like and the police were almost called to defuse the situation. Can you image going for blood work and being involved in a situation where the police would need to be called. OUTRAGIOUS. Quest, I doubt that you will read this and if you do, that you will do anything, but Cary should be demoted, if not fired, for the way she handled that situation. All she was albe to do was to argue and continue to repeat the policy she had on a piece of paper even though she was being informed that the policy on the website and 800 wasn't updated. In the time that she took to continue to argue with the customers these 9 patients could have been in and out. Especially since there were hardly any customers there who had appointments. We asked her to call her supervisor Monica -her response was that she didn't have her bosses phone number. Are you kidding. Cary represents your company and what a poor job she dose at it. Hope you are not too big to care about how your staff treats your customers. Will find a new company to do my bloodwork in the future, recommemd everyone else to do the same. read more

We had a quite unpleasant experience this morning. First there was a 45 minute wait on a Friday morning at 7:45 AM and then an hour and a half of confusion once we were inside to determine how to process the paperwork for a lab they were not used to working with and how many vials to use. The doctor had specifically ordered four vials of a certain type consistent with the instructions written on the paperwork by Cleveland heart lab. Despite this the supervisor nearly refused to comply with Cleveland heart lab's instructions and wanted to use more vials. None of the staff spoke fluent English and it was difficult to be understood. Even when I spoke to the supervisor he misread the instructions on the Cleveland heart lab paperwork and was unpleasant to interact with. When I pointed to the instructions on the paperwork he asked me "do you work for Quest!" All this on a morning of fasting after a 2 hour ordeal. On the positive side, the phlebotomists were pleasant and friendly. read more

If you have an appointment, it may only take 15-30 minutes to be helped at this location of Quest. If you do not have an appointment, be prepared to wait at least 2 hours for even the simplest of lab tests. It appears that this lab has a shortage of technicians. read more

I made an appointment at this location thinking I would wait at least an hour like I've had to do at the Dadeland location. I arrived 15 minutes early and only waited a few minutes. I was actually in and out in a total of 15 minutes. Doesn't get better than that! There was also plenty of parking unlike the new Dadeland location which is impossible to get a close spot. I live closer to the Dadeland location but will come here in the future. read more
