The kiosk warned that longer waits are expected absent an appointment. Since there was only one other person waiting, I was not concerned about a long wait. Patients trickled in after me, were seen, while I waited, reminding myself I had not made an appointment. After waiting for about 1.5 hours, I went over the the kiosk and signed in again. Another patient walked in, was treated quite rapidly, while I continued to wait. While I felt compelled to just open the door, walk in, I would be entering a small suite, interrupting an ongoing blood draw. As my WAIT approached 2 hours, I finally LEFT. Two hours wasted... Now I must go to another lab, begin a new wait, so this "visit" accomplished nothing.

I showed up at…read more7:16 and saw a paper sign over the check-in kiosk saying that they weren't open till 730 even though there is a Physical sign drilled to the wall saying that they are open and accepting patients starting at 7:00. I arrived early with the assumption that appointments would start at 7:30. The phlebotomist did not show up until 7:40. I had been the first to arrive and sign in as soon as the phlebotomist flipped the unofficial paper sign. However, the first patient who was brought back for their testing was at 7:50. They did not have an appointment and they didn't sign in as a walk-in. It was as a "personal favor" to one of the other nurses in the building and overheard this being discussed in the waiting room. I waited for over an hour after checking in I before asked where I was in the queue and if I had signed in correctly. I was yelled at and told to "wait my turn" even though I arrived over a half an hour before anyone else including the phlebotomist, even showed up. If I had simply been told that there wouldn't have been time for walk-ins today, I would've left and it wouldn't have been a problem but after being there for almost 2 hours and with no respectful communication, I still didn't get my blood drawn. 10/10 DO NOT recommend unless you enjoy being stressed out and yelled at. Then this is perfect for you. I have heard from friends, family, and other clients in the waiting room that if you have an appointment it is not any better.

The person had been going to this site for several years and yet she was told that none of her insurance info was available. The poor thing waited so long (over an hour) that she ran out of oxygen. She is oxygen dependent. this is horrible . I will not be going back to QUEST.... EVER!!!!

No answer. I asked her coworker in the room near the restroom and she gladly explained it to me. The woman who handled my test came out to her while I was in the bathroom and said "I'm so sorry, she seemed to know what I was talking about....im not going to carry patients to the bathroom..." and laughter. If you choose to talk bad about a patient in a professional setting, do it where they can't hear you. I chose to ask because I didn't want to leave an unopened urine sample on the bathroom sink, but was met with unprofessional means. Please speak to this woman, she should not be saying those things in earshot, making patients feel stupid.

This is about Quest in general. Had a doctor appointment and was sent upstairs to have some blood…read moredrawn. Opened the door and saw 5 people in chairs and 2 people trying to check in with their silly McDonald's kiosk. Since it didn't look very under control I decided to go across to Hahnemann hospital for an x-ray. Got back to Quest about a half hour later and all but one of the people from my first visit were still there plus 2 more trying to check in. Having spent a long time at my doctor's (running 45 minutes late) I didn't want to waste another hour or more trying to get blood drawn. I remembered there was a Quest office where my previous doctor had been in Spencer so I decided to head out there. I was happy with my decision because there was nobody there and I should be out in 5 minutes. Then, the woman, who had nobody else in sight to service, told me that she could only take people who were patients of the doctors in that office. I'm 72 and in all that time I've never before encountered a business intentionally trying to do LESS business. Too bad Quest seems to be the the blood choice most of us are stuck with. I wish zero stars was an option.

Twice now they have tried to charge me for something that was paid for by my insurance. It was not a mistake! I spoke with representatives who used double talk and unclear answers to try and get me to think the insurance had not paid and wasn't going to - it's a very shady business practice on their part. Shame on you quest. It's all locations - not just this one so BEWARE. Shysters and weasels!
