    Unfortunately, I did not experience a good or professional services here. The lady named "Jennifer" who needs a break from this position. I am sorry to mention her name but I think your vision and skills are not fit in this job. When I called in to sit on the chair... she was still busy with the previous customer's label. She was looking at the computer screen so closed and barely to see things clearly, after verifying my name, then gave me cup for the sample.... I knew I don't need that, so after kissing looked the screen again, then apologized that was her mistake for the wrong item ( the cup)..... after a minute she figured out how many tubes I should have for the blood work.... Finally she put the needle into my vein and something fell down from the cabinets behind her. She turn her back to watch and trying to figure out what was that while the needle was still poking inside.... I suddenly feel so pain at the needle point...! even she apologized again, I want to run out to complain about it!! So bad service she gave to me! No respect and not professional at all! Of course, I found my arm bruised after this happened! Jennifer, I am so sorry, I think you should go home and take a break.

    This is how they took my blood from the vein at this place. When I got home and removed the band-aid, I was horrified by what I saw. I'm in shock. Stay away from this location at all costs!

The Oakey location is very far, add traffic and the road work, it's a bad commute. I made my annual appointment, via telephone. I made my appt with Quest too, except it wasn't ordered, I didn't find out, until I called back, because the new doctor wanted to establish the relationship first. So, I cancelled my Quest appt. Hubby was the one who told me to call SMA again, since he, too, got conflicting information regarding blood work. I was getting text messages reminding me about my appointment. YOu can also check in via the text message, too. The parking lot was not bad. Yesterday afternoon, 4 pm, was my appointment. I was advised to get there at 3:45 pm. If this visit results in another appointment referral, there is a charge, otherwise this is a well check and is a covered service. The inside, like the waiting room, was not bad, either. Security Guard present. Lots of staff wearing masks. I checked in with the nice lady at the counter. I sat in the waiting room, not long, before I was called back. My vitals (weight, BP, pulse, temp, etc.) were taken after I answered all of the nurse's questions. Everything looked good. The provider came in and she went over a few things in my history. Has to backtrack on the old system to check out a few things, because the new system doesn't go back five years. Checked my breathing. Also ordered blood work and scheduled next year's appointment too. Suggested a couple of Vaccines. I've never had the Flu vaccine, but I am not sickness-prone either. Reiterated the role of diet and exercise. Told her that everything has been scheduled, OB/Gyn & Cardiologist- both in April. And also reminded me of a Vision appt, which I told her was this past October.

    My experience here started very badly. The first staff members couldn't find my vein and had to…read morepoke me multiple times in arms and my hand. It was extremely painful, left large bruises, and made my anxiety much worse. However, the last nurse who helped me was very professional and gentle she found my vein right away and made the process much easier. I really appreciate her, but the earlier part of my visit was very stressful and needs improvement. my anxiety got much worse during the process. I understand blood draws can be difficult sometimes, but I wish they had been more gentle and professional even I asked and told them need someone more experienced and professional because I have phobia!I'm still sore and very disappointed with how it was handled! Look at the attached it's terrible! "I hope management improves training and patient care ,this experience worsened my fear of blood draws."

When I first walked in, I handed the front desk lady my paperwork and was told I needed to fill out the registration. I asked where to do that, and apparently the registration was on an upright iPad near the front. Silly me for missing it. A lot of the people in the waiting room noticed how rude the interaction felt, and several people even commented to me about it afterward. I honestly tried to give grace because she may have been stressed or overwhelmed, and I know healthcare can be difficult. But the reason I'm writing this review is because of Dana, the blonde phlebotomist in the back. She was absolutely wonderful. I hadn't had much water that morning because of an earlier appointment, so finding a vein was a little difficult, but Dana stayed patient, calm, kind, and professional the entire time. She talked with me, joked around a little to help me relax, asked how my day was going, and truly made the whole experience better. Dana has such a beautiful soul and gave me one of the best experiences I've ever had getting blood drawn. Employees like her deserve recognition because they genuinely make a difference in people's days. So while the front experience may not have been ideal, Dana completely turned it around for me. God bless you, Dana -- thank you for your kindness and for making my day better.

Then I waited 45 min to be told the same and treated rudely as well. If you know you can't perform a test why check them in take Info and make them wait and complain how busy you are. She told everyone how busy and behind they were. Be smarter and more efficient and less rude
