This was a very easy lab experience through Quest. It's very simple to book an appointment online through their website. I found a pretty good selection of times even only booking one day ahead. You get a link via text message and can easily check in online once you arrive. There are also kiosks in the waiting area where you can check yourself in. Bear in mind there are no staff to check in with. Once checked in, you sit in the waiting room and follow your progress on a large screen showing checked in appointments and anyone waiting as a walk in. I was taken right at my booked time. Once in one of the back rooms the staff process your insurance and confirm which tests you need. The staff member was very friendly, and the blood draw was basically painless. I was dreading coming here. I needed to get bloodwork done asap and couldn't get an appointment anywhere. I decided to come in and join the waitlist. I was 3rd in the waitlist line and the person working explained if someone didn't show for their appointment they would take me. Within 30 minutes, I was in and out! I've waited over 2 hours for other locations and this was a pleasant surprise. The kiosk check in was also convenient and fast. Not 5 stars only because the waiting room was full and closed quarters with no available appointments within the week. Not their fault but otherwise wonderful. read more

Truth be told, This location was moving and grooving. They weren't playing. The start time is from 6a.m-4p.m. I should've made an appointment before just walking in. My wait time was over an hour but I knew I needed to have my bloodwork done. Why not go ahead and get it over with while in the area? My Primary Care doctor requested that I have a slew of bloodwork done before my second visit with her so I wanted to be compliant with her requirements. This Quest location has outlets for your phones, computers, and other devices to be charged while you wait. For me I was please with this being an incentive for customers to use while they wait. Once I was called to the back, I went and wiped down my area with one of the Lab techs sterilizing wipes. When the young lady came into the room I was now sitting comfortably but slightly anxious cause I'm not an easy stick (anemic). However Trixie changed that feeling of discomfort and discouragement. I explained to her that I am not the easier person to draw blood from. Trixie had me to look over my consent forms before signing. The first set of forms weren't the correct spelling of my name. She ripped up a hopefully shredded the incorrect papers and printed out a new set of papers for me to sign. Once I signed we had a few laughs and Trixie was able to stick me the FIRST TIME!!! She deserves these 5 stars. If I ever have to have casting lab work of any kind . Bravo young lady, You found a new friend in me . read more

UPDATE- got my results back in 12 hours!! :) Had a great experience at this quest location. I paid for a blood test the day of, and made an appointment for 2:20pm. I arrived 5 minutes early and they called me back at 2:30pm. I was taken to a room and Jannah came in about 3 minutes later to greet me and draw my blood. She verified my info & answered some questions. I was told my results would be ready in 3-5 days. The needle hurt a little bit more than I'm used to and left a bruise but it wasn't too bad. She was so friendly & polite! The waiting room was packed so I'm glad I didn't wait long. I recommend making an appointment or else it sounded like there will be a long wait. The parking lot is not the best, I got lucky with someone leaving after I circled around for a bit. Worst case scenario you can always park by Freddy's! I had a 2 PM appointment, and while they were running a little behind, the wait wasn't bad at all--definitely manageable. I've generally had good experiences at various Quest locations, and this visit was no different. My technician was very personable and pleasant, which made the experience more comfortable. The blood draw itself was quick and painless--always appreciated! Even better, I received my results the very next day online. Everything went smoothly from check-in to follow-up. Come to this place to do a blood work with butterfly needle, I have a bad very tiny veins and do my blood work only with this butterflies needles, I told a nurse loud and clear, that I come here to do my bloodwork with this specific needle, and that I didn't do my bloodwork at the my primary care doctor office because they don't have this specific needle and they sent me to do my bloodwork to Quest diagnosti, she told me ok, yes we have this needle, and we will use it on me, and she take a regular one and told me that this is a butterfly needle, I said it's doesn't look the same I always have my blood work with. she answered me that this is a butterfly needle ( but it was a regular one) since it's been a while since my last blood work in the US, I trusted her, I thought maybe something changed and this is the butterfly now, she told me that's how butterfy needle In their lab look like. While she took my blood I feel very sharp pain in my vein, it was so painful, never feel this pain wile blood work before in my life and I did many in the past. After she was done she put a bandage. I went to the bathroom and my vein started to bleed so much throug and my arm was in the pain. Thankfully there was another nurse, when she sees my bleed, she ask who did my blood work. I told her, explain her all situation that I have so tiny veins and i can't use regular needles, and ask her to make sure the other nurse use a butterfly on me, and she say no, it was regular needle, and she showed me a normal butterfly I always do my bloodwork with. When the nurse who did my bloodwork sho up in to the room check what she done I ask her why she lied to me that she is using butterfly needle, and she said that they are the same, this regular needle is like butterfly, this was her answer to me. This is not norma! how I can trust people like this ever again?! Thats not ok to lie people just like this right in their eyes. That's not ok to hurt people and do a very bad job! And not to listen to people. and most important to bring harm. I don't think people like this who doesn't care should work in healthcare industry Ever! I want to thank so much two other nurses who come and take care of me, changed my bleeding bandage and put ice. My hand is still so painful and I have a huge bruis, and she did damage to my vein. it was so bad experience. Always check twice never trust "nurses" like this, they might harm you and they don't care. But im sure there's much more good nurses than a bad ones like this I have my experience with. My wife and i had a 3:40 appointment at the Russel/Rainbow Quest diagnostics for blood work for health insurance. We checked in and when we were called they said they didn't see the blood work order in there system. So we went outside called Quest and they said that it was there and gave us the confirmation number so they could pull the order up. We tried to go back inside but they locked the doors and said we close at 4. But it was only 3:45 at that point. And they wouldn't let us in for the appointment and told us to go to another Quest location. read more

Best Quest location in town for labs! I prefer this location to others as it's less busy. Other locations have bus & transport vans with loads of patients from group homes that take blocks of appointments. I came to this location and didn't wait long. Staff actually helped people who were unable to understand computers and the entire process was more streamline here. The lobby was clean and full of people but if you schedule online and go in the early morning you can get in and out rather quick. Tech was very nice and knowledgeable. I had called the day prior to schedule an appointment. I was confirmed for 11:10am. I showed up to the facility at 11am to check in and was not in the system. I told the staff and they told me to go ahead and just have a seat. The time is currently 12:51pm and I still haven't been seen. I've been waiting for 2 hours, if I could reschedule I would've but today is the only day that I can do this test. I will not go to quest diagnostic from now on....
