OMG! I have the same complaint as the other person a few months ago! I needed to fast for my appointment. I walk in and the lady said in a very harsh rude tone: "Do you have an appointment?" Me: "No." Her: "I'm going to lunch at 12:00! I'll be back at 12:30." It was 11:48! I it takes a whole 5-8 minutes to draw blood! She was just finishing up as we were speaking. I said "Can you take me now?" She said even harsher: "No, like I said, I'm going to lunch!" I said you have 12 minutes! She said "I that's not enough time! You can go to the other facility in town? They are bigger." I waited until she came back. She went in and "fiddled for 17 minutes. At 12:50 a person came in for an appointment. She took the person, then the next person's appointment, etc., each time telling me I "should go to the other facility or keep waiting." I finally left an hour later! It was clear they really don't take "Walk ins!" It's clear she discourages "Walk ins." She strong arms people into making appointments or going to the "other facility." I'm here today AGAIN for the third time. I did go to the other facility first but they are larger and ten times busier! Question should not advertise " Walk-ins!" It's a lie! I visit the quest lab located in Jackson Ca located in the safeway grocery store. I was greeted by the tech. The first words that came out of her mouth " do you have an appointment ". I explained to her I was checking on labs requested by my primary . She quickly stated " I am just about to take my break come back in 15 minutes'' RUDE, RUDE!!!!!! read more

Very unprofessional. Avoid this location Traveled 45 minutes down through snow to get to this location only to find it closed and locked. Had already confirmed a 10:20 appointment the day before Called the direct number listed telephone number but nobody answered (and still doesn't). The outgoing message merely directs you to the Main Quest website. No option to even leave a message. read more

I've had blood work done here a number of times and there has never been a problem. It's a small quiet office, which I much prefer. Some of the Quest offices are mob scenes. One of the phlebotomists doesn't chat, but she's competent so I don't mind. Most are friendly. Every Quest office has troublesome rules about sending test results to more than one doctor. You can never anticipate what the problem will be. But that's just Quest. read more

Go to Sutter. I went to quest with a 1 pm appt because it takes weeks to get a morning appointment. Stopped by while the tech was on break. When she came back she asked if I was waiting told her yes . told her my appt was for 1 pm but I was hoping maybe there was some time . She said see you at 1:00 . I said but no one is here? but she wasn't agreeable. I left went to sutter hospital. they got me in and out in 15 minutes . NO issues and very congenial. Had my lab results in about 3 hours on my sutter portal. There is a large waiting room and friendly. NO more quest for me. I am tired of the hassle. The one in Jackson has short hours and the one at martell is not user friendly. Try Sutter you will be surprised how much easier it is even without an appt. read more

My mother 83 year old mother went in to have blood work on Thursday, she was greeted by in a snappy irritated tone "why didn't you go to Safeway, I have an appointemtn in 20 minutes?" my mother answers back, baffled, "why would I go there? rude lady answers back still snappy tone "well hey have a quest there" my mother answers back "well, I'm am here" This was oddest, rudest behavior. My mother did want to call her out because she was the who would take blood from her. Only good thing was she took 6 viles of blood and mother said it didn't hurt. My mother is been dealing with c-diff no for 3 weeks now but regardless, she should be fired. read more

Nice office, but terrible service. We had an appointment, and we were the only people there. And, our first time there. Theres a waiting room and then a small room where you go to get your blood drawn. One lady working and she was un the back room. She heard us come in, but didnt recognize us or say a word to us for ten minutes. She was huffing and puffing, irritated by paperwork she was 3 hole punching and putting into a binder. Not a good look to have someone angry at work in the medical field. She finally waved us in. She never greeted us, never smiled, never looked at our faces, etc. Then, she got even more irritated because my child's doctor wasn't listed un the computer and had to call the office. She was rude to them too. Thank God shes not a waitress, the girl would be broke! Unfortunately, the other Quest in amador county is only open until 1pm. So, the only other choice is Cameron Park or Elk Grove. Hope they find a new employee soon. Oh, did I mention this was my child first ever blood draw and suffers from extreme anxiety? I have to say the young gal you have that is drawing the blood is not friendly doesn't talk. I been in the health care field for 30+ years and I know when we had patients getting lab drawn they were very nervous and need to have someone there to get their mind off of it and talk with them. Great location in Safeway's but very poor customer service. read more

The women in this location was the absolute worst! I don't know the women's name that helped me. She was older, had dark/ curly hair and was awful! I went in there for my 1 year old to have blood work and right out the gate she had a terrible attitude. She made it known that she was supposed to be going on her break and asked if I would even be able to hold down my baby. She got even more irritated when I needed to run to my car for my wallet to grab my insurance card! Granite, I know I should have brought it in, but I'm human and took it out of the diaper bag right before I went in and forgot to put it back..... This is the first time I've ever had to get blood drawn on any of my children so I just thought she would guide and tell me exactly what to do for it to be most effective and for her to get the job done. There was none of that, just me holding my screaming baby as still as possible with her yelling at me in a very stressful situation. She clearly didn't want to draw blood on a baby. I knew there would be screaming, but didn't expect this lady to be so rude and act as if I and my ONE year old were the problem. Not only did she have major attitude she then told me that there may not be enough blood and I may have to come back but couldn't go back there to get it done. I told her she could kiss my ass, I was shaking with how mad I was and just in utterly shock the way she treated me! She could have easily said you know with her being so little and with me being the only one in here to draw blood, we are gonna need more hands and it would be better if you went to the other location to have more hands on deck. I gladly would have taken her advice. Again, I knew it wouldn't be EASY cuz getting shots or giving blood on children never is, but she could have just been a nice person instead of just being so dang rude.
