Most recently:…read moreI made an appointment; arrived ten minutes early; checked in; waited patiently for a half hour, including at least ten minutes during which the phlebotomists dealt with no patients at all, and I was sitting alone in the waiting room. When I mentioned that I had an appointment, and was I on their list, they said "You never checked in. You're late. You can wait as a Walk-In, and perhaps we'll have room for you." I would say that apparently the check-in kiosk made me THINK it had happily checked me in, but it hadn't. I had put my QR coded beneath the laser, and it flashed; it gave no indication it wasn't happy, or wanted me to do more. The point: after all of that, I don't think they should have treated me as if I had NOT made an appointment; had NOT arrived early; had NOT checked in; had NOT already waited patiently in their waiting room for a half hour; as if they had not been doing nothing as I sat in the waiting room; and as if they were behind (there was virtually no one there.) They should have said, "Oh! Sorry some mixup occurred! Let's take you right now, then!" This sort of thing happens frequently at this location. I would recommend (and I'll be going to) Cape Cod Healthcare Lab Services; many locations on the Cape; always courteous; never annoying.

when their lab tech could not get a vein to draw blood, she called for another one. this one seemed…read moreirritated and asked for the other arm. after she was told that I couldn't straighten this arm because of an elbow surgery, and to maybe try the hand, she snapped "we'll do you want me to do it ". at this point I asked what was wrong . after displaying increased hostility she walked out. I was so shocked at her behavior, I got up and left. I had blood drawn at this place for eight years and never had an issue before.

Recently I had to replace an old oral appliance and Dr. Demarest made recommendations based on my sleep apnea. I've tried C-Pap machines but with claustrophobia couldn't tolerate that device, so with an upgraded mouth guard designed for sleep apnea I've had great success with the oral appliance as treatment. I'm one of those "chickens" when it comes to any kind of dental work and they've always been compassionate and patient with my phobias. A special thank you to the Practice Manager Beauna who helped me to navigate my medical insurance coverage for my oral appliance.
