I am overwhelmed by gratitude for having chosen him to be my primary six months ago. And here is why. I walked into his office in physical distress and was immediately greeted by his new front desk employee, Eileen. She found a time slot to squeeze me in that was only a 20 minute wait. 20 minutes! Walking in off the street. She was kind, compassionate and on the ball in mobilizing the staff to address my acute needs. And I learned she has only been there a week! Wowzers! Secondly, the supporting staff in that office are amazing. Clara, Cynthia, and Robin were all working in a whirlwind of "busy" and none missed a beat in showing kindness and a genuine concern for everyone there. Double Wowzers! Thirdly, Riad himself. He made himself available for me on this impromptu visit and gave me as much time as I needed to share the relevant information behind my medical issue, never rushing me. I love that he is unafraid to bring faith and God into any conversation because let's face it, people, there is SO much in life greater than we can understand. Riad treated me with compassion, suggestions and 2 immediate referrals who contacted me within 1 hour after visit. The prescriptions I needed were texted me by CVS even before I left the visit. Triple Wowzers! Finally, a staff member named David called me 1 hour after the visit to check in on the referrals and ask how I was. His demeanor over the phone, his questions, his responses, everything...on point! Quadruple Wowzers! This is an all star team at this practice and I could not be more grateful for having become a patient there.

His style is to treat everyone in a timely fashion and if you're okay to go, then let the next person in. Dr. Riad has never missed problem with my health and often can anticipate a problem before it rises. Dr. Riad is kind, brilliant and if you get to know him, has a great faith and a great sense of humor. I suspect that whoever writes negative reviews of Drs., in such a violent style, has a negative life to start. A way too angry person. Thank you Dr. Riad for your dedication and knowledge. It has been 1.5 years since my Dad passed and it has taken this long to write a review of this…read moreabsolutely horrific "rehab" my father where my Dad spent 5 weeks October 2024 .The care was horrible, the nurses were mean and not helpful at all. The only person that tried was the PT can't remember his name. We pulled him out of there AMA but he was so depressed and was not improving at all. My Dad had bed sores on the both feet and lower back. He was there for rehab after being hospitalized for kidney issues. He was ambulatory and living on his own and driving prior to hospitalization then became quite deconditioned and needed rehab. The food was inedible and the admission nurse even said that. But that was minor to what he experienced at this horrible facility . The real reason I am writing this is because my Dad had weeping wounds on his legs and I came in to see the room full of flies, landing on his legs and food. The Air conditioning unit was not flush in window with big gaps to the outside (by the way it was October) I went to the nurses station to complain and ask for it to be fixed, the "charge nurse" said they would take of it on Monday, I said that is not acceptable, asked her if they had any duct tape or something to fix it, and she said as I walked away "who does she think I am? I am an RN not a fix it person" well I so happen to be an RN employed at a Boston hospital, so I said well so am I and I had packing tape in my car and fixed the a/c unit to secure from outside. the attitude by almost all of the staff was horrific. the case managers and others were not helpful and had no intentions on dealing with these issues. poor care, bad attitudes, disgusting facility that should be shut down by the state! NEVER let you love on stay here!! wish I was able to give 0 stars

However, we gave her the days and times we needed her agency and she told us they just needed 24 hours and they would be able to service us. We called the agency the next day, less than 24 hours later, after we met with Rachel to let them know we wanted them onboard. They told us they didn't have enough staff. She gave us no indication that this may be an issue when she came to the house at the meeting and we were left with the impression they had PLENTY of staff to fill our needs. We felt our time was wasted by this agency when we needed to find help promptly as he cannot be left alone ever. We are angry. If you contact them before they waste your time with a meeting, make sure they have the capability to meet your needs, so you do not waste your time.

He inspired absolute confidence. He performed emergency surgery on my damaged hand and started me on the road to recovery in a little over an hour after I showed up at the Hospital ER. He followed up with numerous appointments at his Yarmouth office. He referred me to an excellent occupational hand therapist who has greatly aided me on the road to recovery. The receptionist was remarkably rude and showed little compassion toward a woman who was clearly in significant pain. Rather than offering assistance, she insisted on having her complete paperwork containing information that had already been provided, all while displaying an unhelpful and dismissive attitude. What followed was a nearly nine-hour wait to diagnose what ultimately turned out to be kidney stones. Even more concerning, during that entire time, not a single doctor came into the room to personally evaluate, explain findings, or discuss a treatment plan. Healthcare professionals are entrusted with caring for people during some of their most vulnerable moments. Unfortunately, this facility failed to demonstrate even the most basic standards of communication, compassion, and patient care. The lack of urgency, professionalism, and respect we encountered was deeply disappointing. This was, without question, one of the worst healthcare experiences I have witnessed. Based on our experience, you would likely receive more attentive and compassionate care at many urgent care centers than at this hospital's emergency department.

You could see that my foot was broken on the original x-ray. There's no way anybody looked at it otherwise they would've seen it. Dr. Katzen was my doctor and he was absolutely terrible. So thank you for misdiagnosing my injury which I had to get surgery 10 months later for because you guys couldn't see a simple break!!!
