I'm sorry for all the people that come here and have a bad time... I understand that people already don't want to get blood work done let alone fast but so many unhappy negative people walk into this place and these poor workers have to deal with them. I understand you don't like the weight, but they are extracting blood from sensitive people people that would rather have their blood work taken by professionals versus trainees at their doctors office so have a little more sympathy sit down and be polite when you walk in and instead of being frustrated and complaining! This Quest Diagnostics is located in a lovely little shopping center close to Starbucks food and a cute little daycare center that you can pay hourly so if you're coming with kids and have some extra help, maybe you could send them over to the center it's like $15 and they can play all day. It definitely makes my appointment a lot easier when coming with my child and husband. They can play and I can wait in peace at this quiet office. Everything is clean in the office the technicians are definitely overworked, but each time I've come to them every one of them have been kind and always treated me with respect and courtesy. I've been coming to this location for over six years and every single time. I have a great experience getting my blood drawn. Professional and knowledgeable workers. Best location I've gone to and I've been going to Quest for 15+ years I realized early on that I have a specific need when it comes to drying blood and going to professional professionals, like this, always makes the experience better. First off of all, Quest jas eliminated front desk positions so you check in on a kiosk with no human interaction. The machines often don't work and I waitee over 45 min for my appointment and they made me check-in as stand-by and refused me service after taking my name off the list saying "it doesn't guarantee service" even though they never said that at any time. The workers, who I assume are overworked, were rude, curt, and dismissive. In addition to the the type of scam I assume Quest Diagnostics is running by overcharging us, they can't even take care of patients so I had no care done. Avoid QD at all possible, especially this location. The icing on the disgusting cake is the entire plaza doesn't even have bike parking. read more

I have been using Quest for many years and have always had a good experience with their level of care. But it is important to have an appointmtnt, which you can easily do on line. They have many locations throughout our county. So if one is booked you can always try other locations. And cancelled appointments wI'll show as available on their calendar right away. So check back if you are not satisfied with the first date you choose. For me, as soon as I get the prescription for lab work, I make the appointment without delay. This gives me plenty of options for a timely appointment. Wait until the week prior to your doctors apointment and you can try a 'walk in' without appointment. This can be problematic, since they are typically fully booked and I think they first serve the folks who have appointments. I have found the best time for a walk in is after lunch or later in the day: like 60 to 90 minutes before closing. I find the staff to be very competent and helpful. Just don't put off scheduling and don't limit yourself to one location. BTW a friendly hello with a sincere smile never hurts to win anyone over. I highly recommend Quest. read more

I need another blood test since my last one came back weird . This quest is packed like a can of sardines . I don't like it . There is someone named Tony who is very helpful . I hope the process goes by quickly I have a26 minute wait on the computer. But now I see more like 149 wait.OH boy. I would have gone to the one on university but the date was not soon enough . Now I'm hearing people waiting over an hour wait. So my appointment time has come and gone and now I'm one and a half hour wait . Nurses with bad attitudes, demeaning to people. Had a 9:10am appointment, checked in at 9am and didn't get called until 9:40am....no seating as the place was packed. Absolute garbage! They do not comprehend the meaning of having an appointment.... My appointment was at 8:40am I arrived at 8:22am... there where TWO people that had an appointment at 8:25am and arrived at 8:38am and where put in front of the other people that were on time.... How the hell does that happen? The place is an absolute mess there is no hand sanitizer anywhere and they just pack 109 people at the lobby.... Again absolute garbage! The staff is very nice, but I think it's clear that they need to increase the size of the building to meet the growing local population. Every time I go in there I hear them have to turn away at least 3 walk-ins every 5 minutes. Today I just wanted to drop off a specimen and ended up having to wait 40 minutes. Why're they so unnecessarily rude after just arriving, the piggish nose dyed hair lady instantly got rude after I told her about me calling this location for an appointment 2 weeks ago. You have to sign in on the tablet when you come in. I was 10 minutes early to my appointment and it says I was late 10 minutes after signing in so it says I have to reschedule a new appointment or come in as a walk in. Even though there system says I had an appointment the receptionist says she has no appointment for me.. This place is quite hidden which should be good when it comes to making appointments or walk-ins... Wrong the person handling the blood works stands at the door in between patients deterring walk-ins from even coming in and scheduling an appointment. This person has no people skills, and when you call for an appointment takes over 32 minutes just to get someone on the phone. With other laboratories like LabCorp they had the ability to humanly explain how to make an appointment and answer questions regarding wether my testing needed fasting or not. Very rude experience, I understand we are still under COVID restrictions but having manners when interacting with public is something that should be practiced. read more

Our experience with Quest is draconian, and borderline malpractice. My husband must wait 2 hours to drop off a sample. My husband was given a specimen container yesterday at his appointment. He was not told he'd need to set aside 2 hours to drop it off the next day. It is shameful to treat our elderly, who can't sit comfortably for even half an hour, so terribly. I had an appointment here today and there was no one to check in at the front desk. So I had to at the machine. I tried over and over but it kept saying that I did not have an appointment. A lady came out and said to the crowded room , if you don't have an appointment you probably won't get in. I said to her I have an appointment but the machine won't allow me to check in. She said yes just sign in. I said I tried 5 times and she said then you are late. I said I've been trying but I couldn't sign in. She was agitated and wouldn't listen to me. Not a good experience with the person who did my blood drawing. I have always have had my blood drawn by the vein in my hands rather than the arm because its less painful. Its been done this way for me for more than 15 years, at this facility and at my Dr's ofc. and I told her so. Instead of saying OK I will try it that way- LIKE HER COWORKERS HAVE DONE. Instead this unprofessionsal nurse strong armed me and told me that "I am the nurse and I make that determination". I was turned off immediately and she informed me that she was the "Supervisor and she's been working here since 2011"! This caribbean black nurse should take a course in proper bedside manner or listen and learn from her colleages. I put 1 star just because they were open . In this office the have a VERY BAD attitude based on their false understood "authority ". It was a big issue my wife and I sitting next to each other. They said it doesn't matter we are married and live in the same house, we still have to keep distance when sitting in their waiting room. I wish there was a way to give this place a negative amount of stars because it is literally one of the worst businesses I've ever came into contact with in my entire life. They have zero customer service, and it doesn't matter if you make an appointment or not because you're not going to get in any time near that time. You'll be lucky if you get in 2 hours after your appointment, and they barely offer any appointment times unless you want one two weeks in advance. Oh and if you're a walk-in, it doesn't matter how long you've been waiting because they'll randomly come out and tell you that they've decided they're not going to take any more walk-ins for the day, and that may happen at 8:30am after you've already been waiting for a half hour and you've missed work. Don't fill your sample bottles too full, but don't fill them not high enough either because either way they'll have some ridiculous process they want you to go through to make it perfect because they don't want to do anything themselves. This place is a complete joke and I'm going to be calling my insurance company and asking them to be removed from the policy. Every single experience I've had at this location has been negative.
