Dr Braver may be fine and the nurse practitioners are competent but the girl she has drawing blood at her Aventura office is borderline incompetent. I went to have blood drawn 2 days ago and she screwed up putting the needle in my vein so bad I am still in pain and arm is still swollen and badly bruised. This is the second time out of 4 blood draws over the past two years that this happened when she drew blood. Once putting the needle in and one pulling the needle out. Never had this happen to me before anywhere else. And my veins are large and very easy to place a needle in. Sorry to say but this employee should not be working in this job. The office was never great just ok. But it got worst throughout the years. No customer service. Not helpful. Busy and the front desk is always on edge. They get very defensive and get frustrated very easy (I've seen that happened more than once to other patients) Dr Braver is ok, very busy and even if you do an appointment with her you end up seeing another Dr or an ARNP. The ARNP are not experienced at least the ones I had. I am a health care provider myself and I just go for anual checkup. I will not recommend her office. She needs to change all office personnel. read more

I have been a patient for years. This my first visit to new office. Much nicer than old office, more room and nicer décor. I had a nine o'clock appointment and they took me in by 915 and with blood work I was out forty five minutes later with a new prescription. Everyone was courteous and friendly. read more

The worst office I have ever been to! If I could put 0 stars I would. I gave birth and went for a check up two month later. First, I was received by the nurse practitioner who body shamed me. After drawing your blood they send you the result by mail, no envelope just a little tape on a folded paper. My neighbor received it by accident and opened it not checking that it wasn't for him. So he saw all my results, the diagnosis and the prescription.... My husband and I were very upset about the situation so we called their office. The nurse practitioner belittled us. Telling us that she doesn't have to call me or make an appointment to explain what I have. Doesn't even apologized and gave us an attitude. She didn't even know that I was breastfeeding and still prescribed something!! And finally they're no follow up on anything!!! How can they hire someone like that!!!??? She doesn't care about her patient, makes fun of them and makes them feel bad about themselves, doesn't care if they're doing better or not. I used to like this office and the doctor. Been seeing Dr. Beth Braver for three years now and I love her. The staff are very pleasant and professional. Highly recommend this office.

Dr Braver's office has a tendency to schedule appointments to see her and on the day of the appointment switches to one of her young and inexperienced nurse practitioners, one of which I had the pleasure of meeting and wasn't helpful at all. I had to schedule another appointment with Dr Braver and guess what...on the day of the appointment I get a call that she has a meeting to go to and would like me to see the nurse practitioner again. I declined and said I would like to keep my appt with Dr Braver and the front desk person got upset and pretty much said fine and hung up on me. They just called again to tell me that Dr Braver has an emergency and they need to reschedule. This is not how you run an office. She was supposed to send me for a follow up mammogram but never wrote the script. Not very good follow through...find someone who cares about your well being and not about the money!! read more

Dr. Beth Braver is wonderful but some of the office staff are surly and rude thus making the patient feel disrespected, and brushed off as an inconvenience. On the bright side, Cheryl and Lorraine are polite and seem genuinely interested in the well being of the clients. read more

The new Dr. Haberlin is the best. She really talks to you and is not scared to give you a thorough exam unlike Dr. Braver. I would recommend her in a heart beat over Dr. Braver any day. read more

Worse Doctor's office I have ever been to. GO ELSEWHERE. They do not care about the patient. You are just a number to this office. I selected Beth Braver because she is a woman & I would prefer to go to a woman doctor. She was under my insurance but, further from my home vs. others I could have selected but, did not. 8/14/13 had physical at Beth Braver's office located at 3000 Washington St. Hollywood, Fl. Withdrew blood & urine + gave me a script for a bone density test to be done at a different doctors office. I noticed she did not spell my first name correctly. She did not re-write the script correctly. As a doctor she should have known that if the name is not spelled correctly - it will be rejected. I was told that the test results for my blood work will be ready in 2 days & that I will receive a call. 8/14/13 as I was leaving Braver's office I asked receptionist if they need a co-pay. She pulled up my data on her computer & I noticed that she had the incorrect spelling to my name too. I corrected her- she made the adjustment HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN? You provide your driver's license- insurance card & you fill out their paperwork. 3 documents with my name on it & somehow some idiot puts it in the computer incorrectly. 8/16/13 I went for bone density test at different doctors office & they rejected the script because my name was not spelled correctly via Dr. Braver. Had to make another appointment with correct script from Braver's office. 8/19/13 called Braver's office looking for test results - should have been reported back to me 3 days prior. Receptionist transferred me to nurses voicemail- left a detailed message with my home #-work#&cell# 8/20/13 11:30AM called office -(they never returned my call from previous day) was told test results will not be in until 8/23/13 Friday. that is 10 days after I had blood & urine taken. What doctors office takes 10 days to get results to the patient? It should take no more than 2 days! In this call I discovered that they also had the WRONG DATE OF BIRTH in my records. They had me at 10 years older than my actual age. HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN? I gave them my drivers license & insurance card & filled out their paperwork/forms. 8/23/13 I went to Braver's office - in person. Asking for my test results. They had them right there & gave me a copy. Why did I have to go in person to get the results? How long would it have taken before I heard something from this office? 8/23/13 had bone density test done at the other doctors office- I was told the test results would go to Dr. Bravers office & I would get the results from Braver. Told this doctor that I did not want this because they are incompetent. I was told that if I do not get the results in 4 days to call them & they will get to the doctor for me. 9/3/13 ELEVEN ( 11 ) days since bone density test. Results are with Braver's office now. Called Bravers office at 10:44AM requesting results on bone density test- after put on hold for 10 minutes I was told that I have to wait to hear from the Aventura Office- I never went to the Aventura office. I expressed how unhappy I was with their lack of professionalism & how they screwed up my name- DOB & how this will really mess up the insurance - she did not care. She should have taken my name/# etc & had the Office Manager call me or better yet- have BRAVER call me. 9/7/13 it is now 15 days since bone density test was completed & I still have not heard from Dr. Braver's office. This is something that should have been reported back to the patient within 4 days. On 9/3/13 I called the doctors office that performed the bone density test & told them about how incompetent Braver's office is & they contacted the office too. She was told that no one knows if the results came in. They did come in because I asked the office to send me a copy. I receive the results from the bone density office within 24 hours. Whatever you do - go to a different doctor- do not waste your time with Braver's office! read more

This office is very poorly run. They are not reliable in getting back to you. What should only take a day or two to handle can take up to several weeks. Very disappointing that this office treats patients as if they would rather not be bothered. I have had problems with them following up properly with medicines and accurate information, but have seen other patients treated very rudely by the staff. I am only in there about 1 to 2 times per year, however to witness the treatment of patients every visit tells me there is trouble throughout the ranks. The doctors seem to be educated and caring enough and maybe they are unaware what the office is presenting to patients, but if they want to run a business they might think about looking into the way the patients feel they are being treated by their staff. It would only take a knowledgeable and experienced manager to weed out the problems to improve the entire office atmosphere. Until then, I have changed doctor's and advise others to look elsewhere for medical treatment. read more
