However once I actually went in and saw him, I was so pleased! Dr. Issa listened to everything that I had to say and was patient with me. I did not feel rushed or just a another to patient to him. His bed manner is exceptionally. I have raved about him to my mom and others. I love that certain things are readily accessible within his office and doesn't require prescriptions or orders to outside labs. I also love that apart of the yearly check ups with him includes things like EKGs and certain blood work. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! I can't say enough about Dr. Issa.

I went to have blood drawn 2 days ago and she screwed up putting the needle in my vein so bad I am still in pain and arm is still swollen and badly bruised. This is the second time out of 4 blood draws over the past two years that this happened when she drew blood. Once putting the needle in and one pulling the needle out. Never had this happen to me before anywhere else. And my veins are large and very easy to place a needle in. Sorry to say but this employee should not be working in this job. The office staff was friendly with the exception of Luz in referrals and Jackie Morales the office manager. Luz was so rude to me that I almost cried. I was so taken aback by her attitude. Plus I never got my referrals for two separate doctors. One I finally got after Cynthia intervened. I was in dire need to speak with Jackie about a time-sensitive issue. The person taking the message said she marked it urgent and left it on Jackie's desk. I waited 4 business days for a call back and by that time my issue could not be resolved favorably. Humana, Conviva and my eye surgeon's office also tried to reach her and she would not take their calls or return any calls. I can not go back to that office and have to deal with rude, unprofessional staff. I am nonconfrontational and would be very uncomfortable around those two.

The shake I had to drink at midnight and at 6 Am was not terrible because I put it in the refrigerator the night before to drink, yuck .They have this office freezing cold .. I had to drink some more of vanilla shake and then was placed in that CT machine with my arms over my head which killed me because my arm and shoulder injury, they really pushed me beyond . This really hurt my arm and shoulder that was already in pain to more pain. Glad its all over and I will have my results soon. They are very nice at this center but plan on bringing a sweater so you don't freeze.

Two Stars for the Technicians, Not the Front Desk…read more The two stars are solely for the amazing ladies who performed my mammogram and ultrasound. The missing three stars are for the new ownership and front desk staff. I have been coming to Hollywood Diagnostic Center for so many years that I honestly couldn't even begin to count them. Unfortunately, my recent visit left me disappointed in the changes I experienced. From the moment I arrived, the lack of acknowledgment from the front desk set the tone. I don't need special treatment, nor do I expect anyone to roll out a red carpet for me. However, basic courtesy, warmth, and hospitality should be a standard in any business, especially for the people who are the first point of contact for patients. I also witnessed another woman who had been waiting for quite some time, only to discover that her name and paperwork had apparently been overlooked. When she approached the front desk to politely ask whether her name would be called soon, the response and overall demeanor of the staff were anything but kind or welcoming. It was disappointing to witness, especially in a healthcare setting where patients deserve patience and compassion. Thankfully, I did not have to wait long for my mammogram because my technician was ready for me. The experience itself was what you would typically expect from a mammogram, but my technician was incredibly kind and professional. After a short wait, I had my ultrasound, and that technician was equally wonderful. She was pleasant, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help. Both ladies provided the kind of patient care and positive attitude that were noticeably missing at the front desk. Since my very first visit, I have had the same technicians perform my mammograms and ultrasounds. I mentioned this to them during my appointment, and they explained that there had been significant staffing changes and new ownership. They were professional enough not to get into the details, and I respect that. I understand that businesses change, and new ownership often brings new faces and new ways of doing things. But one thing that should never change is the importance of customer service, kindness, and making patients feel welcome. Unfortunately, there aren't endless options for these services, and I do plan to continue coming to Hollywood Diagnostic Center. However, I wanted to share my experience because I have been a loyal patient for years, and I genuinely hope this feedback reaches the people who need to hear it. Your technicians are wonderful, but customer service starts at the front desk. A little kindness, a simple acknowledgment, and treating patients with respect can make all the difference. I hope the new ownership takes this feedback to heart before the center loses the loyalty and trust of longtime patients.
