Monopolized health care sucks. Not only does the website barely function to make appointments, it's the only option, and then you're lucky if your appointment registers in the system. I waited a week to get my bloodwork done because that was the soonest I could get a morning appointment, in order to work with the fasting requirement. When I came in, 20 minutes early for my appointment, fasting, they claimed to have no record of my appointment. So, here I sit, for over an hour now, as a "walk-in." God only knows when they'll actually get around to me. Mind you, I've watched two other people come in over the past hour and be told the same thing. Oh, we have no record of your appointment. As if we're all just making up the fact that we've waited a week for this time slot. The impotent rage is profound, considering that I have nowhere else to go for my labwork. Quest sucks. read more

Went here this morning. The front desk lady was so loud and rude and the place just opened. I could maybe understand her demeanor after a long day but she was so disrespectful to so many people. Staff is very hurried and has trouble handling anything out of their ordinary way. Husband had an appointment for a wellness screening and on our way there I figured I would make mine too but it would just be on a walk-in basis since no appts were available. Husband had a great experience, in and out in 15 minutes. The receptionist however seriously lost her shit when they called my name to check in and verify my insurance. She said she didn't have my paperwork for my screening and couldn't comprehend why they had my husbands and not mine and he needs to call his employer for them to send it in since he's the employee. I tried to explain we were both employed by the same company and that he had an appt and I was a walk in so that's why she didn't have my paperwork by I couldn't get a word in edgewise because she was seriously losing her shit. I've never seen anything quite like it actually. And then she starts asking her coworkers why she doesn't have my paperwork and I try to explain but what do I know, right? So she finally calms down enough to comprehend the situation and I tell her I have the email on my phone of the paperwork but she says they don't have email or the internet or basically anything that a medical office would probably have in this day and age but oh well. She then just dismissively says that it would be an hour wait anyway. I actually have an appt for the screening next week at a thankfully different location but my situation wasn't even serious and she became instantly hysterical. Rude staff and it takes at least an hour to get called up. They insist making appointments ahead of time but elderly folks find it difficult to use the automated appointment scheduling system. I suggest not coming to this location unless you like getting blood drawn from someone with an attitude. They also need to consider the way the talk to senior citizens. read more

This is my "go to" location. I try to get there early since I'm usually fasting. Everyone has been efficient & professional. I've never been there more than an hour. Today I was in & out in 35 min. Today, Catherine drew my labs. She's always professional & courteous as are the other phlebotomists I've had. Sorry I don't know their names. 100 N GV Pkway location has no Yelp site. The following review is about them: Yesterday, I tried this location. Arrived 0945 ... Big mistake!! I was fasting. 100 N GV Pkwy is inside an urgent care which isn't a problem until you realize that their ONE employee is doing intake & phlebotomy. I left after waiting 30 min. Don't go here unless you have an appointment! They can make you wait 2-3 hours before taking you. The sign says "walk-ins". They should have it as "By Appointment only". The counter staff -"yes" you to death and swear they love their jobs. 6am arrival/8:30 departure. 2-1/2 hour wait time for a walk-in! Awful.....1 vampire @6am with 15 people waiting. The front desk lady was extremely rude to all customers including myself. I arrived at 6am to have my 3 year olds blood drawn. I asked her how to check in and she rudely told me the ipad is right in front of me. As much as I appreciated her sarcasm, rudeness and overall abrasiveness, I apologized to her for my inconveniencing her. The story gets better. 3 whole hours later, a phlebotomist comes out to the waiting room, at which point my son is now scared and keeps asking when we can go home. She whispers to me that she apologizes but they cannot help my son today because they don't have Butterfly needles. He is a very small 3 year old. If this was a concern, you would think it would have been addressed at check in or any time before those 3 hours but it wasn't. She was nice about it however and tells me a location , about 15-20 miles away, that I could go to which may not be very busy. I remained calm and thanked her for her assistance. She was nice enough to come tell me, although it was hours into our stay. I then took the opportunity to voice my concerns about the rude lady at the front desk, which the phlebotomist responds, "she has absolutely no filter and should not be working directly with patients." That told me a lot about the rude woman at the front desk. Showed me that she wasn't just having a bad day. She was just a nasty human being. Treating a 3 year old and his father like we were absolute garbage. Customers in the vicinity overheard this entire conversation and about 5 people started also voicing their concerns regarding the lack of professionalism by the front desk lady and how unfortunate of a situation my child was placed in. Never the less I went to the other location and they were much nicer. I did have to wait a little while longer but the testing was done so that's all I really care about. I suggest NOT going to this location. Very unprofessional and rude front desk lady who should NOT be the face of the business. She should be fired immediately. The waits are very long as well. I would normally give a review after my first visit, but because I came back for a second time , I wanted to give feedback on my experience yesterday ! I'd been going through some illness over the last few weeks and an appointment a month out just wasn't going to cut it for my blood work to get done . I came to Quest Wednesday and was (not) greeted or acknowledged by a blonde lady with glasses who sits at the reception area . Once I signed in , she says "you'll be waiting over 2hrs once I can get to you and process your insurance" . As mentioned , I just wanted to get this done , so I was okay with the wait . I told her I needed to step outside for air (since it was very packed inside) , she told me if I stepped out , they wouldn't service me . I could understand if I was going to sit in the car or telling her I'd be right back , but I never left nor did I intend to . Her attitude was disgusting and I don't know HOW someone like this can work as the face of a company with her demeanor . She's loud , arrogant and doesn't want to work there , so I'm not sure why she still has a job. Fast forward to yesterday , I returned because my symptoms worsened and my dr needs my blood work . I was greeted by a nice young lady who was patient and kind . Apparently the blonde called off work . She provided me with a wait time and kept me updated since I needed to step out for air . I waited about 40mins and was called back by Ms. Regina . Ms . Regina was a breath of fresh air . I love her . She made this process so easy and her phlebotomy skills exceeded my expectations . She was warm and friendly . Complete opposite of my experience the day before . Thank you ladies for taking care of me . I appreciate the experience on Thursday ! read more

Let me just say lost my test last year !!!! Went last week for a very important test for my son, told them it was a special test !!!! Did the whole test wrong!!! We had to go get it redone today!! At the burnham location!! They seem to know a lot more I will never go here again! Worth the trip to 4230 Burnham ave. Also had anapomint and still waited over one hour!! The key is to book an appointment. I did mine online and was in and out within 30 minutes. There is a screen where you can see your name and your number as soon as you check in. A lot of people there waiting were walk-ins. read more

What's to be said about this disappointing establishment, other than AVOID AT ALL COSTS. On top of waiting for 3 hours in the waiting room for a pre employment drug test, the front desk receptionist was very rude. Her name was Rachael. Very unpleasant woman. I came up to check how many people were ahead of me and she was on her cell phone, and proceeded to tell me to "hold on" until she finished her text or whatever she was doing. Unless you have an appointment, expect to wait between 30 minutes to 2 hours (depending on business levels). Make sure you have all the necessary documents and ID or else you will be turned away or end up waiting longer. For the most part the people that work here are pretty nice and cordial. Sometimes, they can be rude and condescending. I understand their frustration when dealing with irate, obnoxious and moody patients that always think they should be first in line. Getting your blood taken is never fun, make sure you bring a book or something to keep you occupied while you wait. Always be prepared for an unpleasant experience. read more

Signed in, waited for an hour and a half before they called me to the front desk to speak with someone, only to find out that they no longer accept my insurance. The wait could have been avoided if their sign-in process wasn't so screwed up and they weren't so understaffed. Customer service was generally slow, and somewhat rude. The wait times of other people ranged from 1-2.5 hours. I don't understand how they stay in business. Avoid if at all possible. So, I had came in at around 830am. Had to get my urine drug tested for my job before my appointment over there. They told me that they couldn't do a urine test until 10am. I said I couldn't wait that long. My appointment for my job is at 930am. So they went ahead and put me in. 5 minutes later they call me in. Pretty quick. That's awesome. Anyhow, this freaking black lady that does the urine test has a freaking attitude. She acts like she works at a government office. After I had urinated and gave her that in a tube, mind you my toilet seat cover is still on the toilet. She tells me to wash my hands. So I tried to close the door for privacy. Embarrassed that there are customers standing by where the bathroom is at and looking in the bathroom where I haven't flushed my ish down. This lady gonna say why you closing the door on me for. I said I need some privacy on flushing my ish down without anyone looking. She ups and leaves until I'm done. It was just rude for her to act like that. It's going to be my first & last time coming here. I hate their service. I don't know why they still continue to keep people like them working at this place. Go somewhere else where you can throw your attitude at. This isn't prison, welfare, or the child support office to treat people like this. I recommend to NOT COME HERE AT ALL.
