My experience at LabCorp has been the complete opposite. The check-in process is incredibly convenient. You can check in from your phone or use the kiosk in the lobby. My first appointment started right on time. The second was slightly delayed because my doctor gave me a Quest lab order instead so the delay was on my end. I also really prefer LabCorp's front desk setup. Having someone available to answer questions or help with check-in makes the whole process much smoother. At Quest, you often have to wait until a phlebotomist comes out to call the next patient before you can ask for assistance if something goes wrong with the kiosk or your appointment. At LabCorp, there's always someone at the front desk to help, which makes a big difference. The phlebotomists have been outstanding. During my first visit, she found my vein on the first attempt and collected all eight vials without any issues. On my second visit, I had a different phlebotomist who was just as impressive. She took her time feeling for the vein and made sure she was confident about the placement before inserting the needle. Once again, she got all five vials on the first stick with no problems. The only suggestion I have is that if you're bringing a paper lab order from another lab, such as Quest, arrive a little early. They have to recreate the order in their own system by looking up each individual test, so that process delayed my second appointment a bit. Once that was finished, everything moved smoothly. Overall, I've been extremely impressed. The lobby is spacious and very clean, there have been far fewer people waiting than I was used to at Quest, and I love that you can even wait in your car until it's your turn if you prefer. As someone who has always dreaded getting blood work because of difficult veins, LabCorp has made the experience surprisingly easy. Based on my experiences so far, I would absolutely recommend them.

I was able to book it online and book it for an appointment first thing in the morning which was nice because I didn't want to have to fast for too long. For the glucose test, I had to sit in the lobby for a couple hours. I thought it was a bit odd they had me sit in the lobby for it and not in a back room, but it was fine cuz I ended up being okay. The guy that took my blood each time was so nice and friendly. He was great! And did a great job finding my veins. Sometimes that can be hard cuz apparently I have small ones and when I'm fasting it's even harder haha. But he was really nice and encouraging. Probably one of the best experiences I had here which was nice since I had to sit out in the lobby for a couple hours.

If you value your health, your time, and your sanity, avoid this place at all costs.

During my blood draw, the technician lost access to my vein and had to stop the procedure. She told me she would have to insert the needle again in my other arm. I understand that complications can happen, but what concerned me was that it seemed to have happened because the needle moved during the blood draw. Like many people, I have a genuine fear of needles, so having to be poked a second time was stressful and painful. Patients trust that every effort will be made to complete the procedure correctly the first time. While I realize no one is perfect and accidents happen, I hope technicians are reminded to stay focused and minimize situations that require repeat needle sticks whenever possible. Despite this experience, I still appreciate this Quest location and the overall efficiency of its staff and processes. I've been getting my blood drawn for labs semi-regularly for the last couple years. This Quest is…read morethe worst I've been to. It was crowded, difficult to find (inside a hospital) and the staff is clearly stressed. The woman who did my blood draw (a younger woman with glasses and fake lashes, I don't know her name) messed up on my first arm and my vein collapsed. NEVER had that happen before. I'm healthy and vascular, medical staff usually say it's easy to draw from me because of it. I've never had a vein collapse before. She then tried to insinuate that I must be dehydrated when I'd been fasting for 12 hours and had drank three bottles of water since waking, and even walked in to the draw with a bottle of water. She then switched to my second arm to finish the draw. She failed to tape the cotton properly to me after. The tape kept trying to come off and blood was running down my arm as I went to the elevator. I had to use the tape from the first arm (which luckily didn't bleed) to shoddily tape down the other side. About 12 hours later appear, I have small hematomas forming. I'm pissed as hell since this might interrupt my workout schedule. Both my arms are sore and I iced them immediately after getting home. Do NOT go here. Go to any other Quest. I've never had this happen at their other locations around Vegas. Spare yourself.

I was taken in right on the dot of my appointment. My phlebotomist was Chande and she provided the best experience I've ever had getting my blood drawn. I'm usually a bit anxious to go through this, but she was very gentle and made sure that everything went smoothly. Overall, it took me less than 20 minutes to get in and out. Thankfully I was his seeing eye person saving him steps getting to the new location. Fortunately, the new address was very close. New Address that CPL moved to is 3007 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway. Phone number is (702) 382-4522. It didn't take long to drive my brother to the new location. A staff member was present at the front check in desk area. She was pleasant and helpful. Once providing identification and proof of insurance, it didn't take long for my brother to be called back for phlebotomy services. I ensured that the walk in lab draw was going to be sent off and was ordered STAT. My brother suddenly had lost his vision and it was imperative for the surgeon to have the lab results prior to initiating. The phlebotomist was courteous letting me know that she was labeling the test tubes STAT as ordered. This CPL experience was definitely a positive one!! Patients are able to log in to a portal to access their lab results. This particular new location at 3007 W. Horizon was clean and organized, with pleasant, efficient professional staff members that accommodated a walk-in client in less than 30 minutes start to finish! I personally would utilize and recommend this CPL location for future phlebotomy needs. It was definitely reassuring being able to access and track lab results through the patient portal over a weekend prior to surgery.

We had an incidence once where my husband didn't check in correctly and they cancelled his appointment and converted him into a walk-in patient. Even though he had an appointment, the system would not honor it and they quoted him a 3 hour wait time. Thankfully, we only waited about 45 min. The annoying part about this is that everything is done digitally, there is no human reception person so you're at the will of a computer system. I usually just get blood work with the occasional urine sample. Everyone here is pretty professional and I've never had to complain (in my head of course) about the needle sticks or any sort of incompetence. I like that people compliment Brianna and I get happy when I see it's her too because I know I won't bruise. The bathroom is very clean and feels comfortable to use.

He sent me in the right direction to get to my appointment. The first great thing about Quest is the app. I love being able to make my appt online. Then when I arrive before I go inside I can check in online. You can also check in on the touch screen panel in the lobby when you get to quest. There is a digital screen that posts the list of patient last names and appt times. It keeps track of who will be called next. Today my phlebotomist was Brianna. She was so good I didn't even feel a pinch. Outstanding!!! She is also friendly and I felt right at ease. I am thankful to have had her help me today. She was quick and professional and my appointment went nice and quick. The waiting lobby is on the small side but i was able to find a seat while waiting for my appt. Parking is not bad it loops around the building. Appointments are recommended but you can do walk-ins. They only take walk-in's when they are done with the appointments. I found that the best time for a walk in is close to closing time. I like this location and it is close to my house. I will def be back. I recommend. Check it out!

It was easy to make my appointment on-line. This place was easy to find & actually wasn't even busy. They text you prior & keep you updated. You text them back when you arrive in the parking lot then they will text you when you can come inside. (COVID rules) The lady @ one of the computers knew it was me when I walked in. She said hi but wasn't interested in any small chat as I tried to talk to her. She was an older lady, I never got her name. It didn't take long to get me checked in then she told me to have a seat. Waiting room was empty. I took a seat by a TV to keep me busy. Thought it was cool when I looked up & saw my name on the TV & where I was in line. Shortly after I was called back by a friendly young lady. She was super cool, very much interested in chatting away with me. I had an order for blood work & a urine test. I thought it was odd they didn't send me to the bathroom to grab a urine sample as this is how it has been in the past. After she drew my blood, which she was good @ I inquired about the urine. She checked my paperwork & realized the lady out front forgot to put it on the order sheet. She hollered out to her to find out she actually went home. Hum.....I thought to myself maybe that's why she was so antisocial?? LOL Anyways this lady was able to fix the problem right away then sent me to the bathroom. I was giving a urine sample for a urinalysis. As an RN I know how to give a clean catch & figured instructions (not that I needed them) were in the bathroom along with cleansing cloths since I didn't get either. Once I got in there I didn't find anything. So I went back out & asked the phlebotomist about a cleansing cloth & she gave me one. She either forgot or doesn't feel it's important to have patients provide clean catch urine samples?? Anyways, the lady and OMG I have forgotten her name since I waited so long after my visit to write this review (Sorry), was good about verifying my name & DOB. She labeled my samples in front of me. She was very professional & friendly. I enjoyed my very short time with her. I was glad & surprised to be in & out of there in approximately 20 minutes. I dread getting bloodwork done and don't like needles AT ALL, but I was diagnosed with a vitamin D…read moredeficiency last summer and I requested a recheck at my latest wellness checkup to see if my levels were improving or not. My primary care provider couldn't do same day bloodwork at their office because I had already eaten beforehand, so they ordered tests and I was advised to fast for 10 hours. Alongside this vitamin D recheck, I also received a lipid panel. I wanted to get in first thing in the morning so I could fast overnight, but all early morning times were booked up over several weeks. Normally I visit the Quest on Mountain Vista, but then I learned that this Quest is across the street from my boot camp gym and I decided to book my appointment in the early morning right after getting my workout in. Quest on Horizon Ridge and Carnegie is located way in the back of the parking lot. Note that they do not have a front office receptionist, just a check-in screen. For a quick check-in, scan your driver's license and insurance card at this screen. The waiting room is a little tiny with about eight or so chairs total, however. If it's busy, you can choose to leave and come back 10 minutes prior to the start of your appointment. Right after I got myself checked in, I was called back about 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment time. Talk about speedy right there. The phlebotomist I saw was extremely nice and helpful, plus the big window they had in the room she was in made my procedure easy and comfortable. It took longer than I was used to because multiple tests were being done on me, requiring multiple test tubes. Towards the end, I did start feeling squeamish because my blood started making these weird squishing noises as it was being loaded into one of the test tubes. And before you know it, my procedure was finished and I was sent on my way. I was very satisfied that I've officially decided to make the switch from Mountain Vista to Horizon Ridge.
