This was my first time @ this location. I was trying to find some place not to far from home. May have been a little further then I wanted to go as there are other Quest's closer to my house, but I made an appointment on-line & the hours for the day I wanted to go worked for me @ this location. It was easy to make my appointment on-line. This place was easy to find & actually wasn't even busy. They text you prior & keep you updated. You text them back when you arrive in the parking lot then they will text you when you can come inside. (COVID rules) The lady @ one of the computers knew it was me when I walked in. She said hi but wasn't interested in any small chat as I tried to talk to her. She was an older lady, I never got her name. It didn't take long to get me checked in then she told me to have a seat. Waiting room was empty. I took a seat by a TV to keep me busy. Thought it was cool when I looked up & saw my name on the TV & where I was in line. Shortly after I was called back by a friendly young lady. She was super cool, very much interested in chatting away with me. I had an order for blood work & a urine test. I thought it was odd they didn't send me to the bathroom to grab a urine sample as this is how it has been in the past. After she drew my blood, which she was good @ I inquired about the urine. She checked my paperwork & realized the lady out front forgot to put it on the order sheet. She hollered out to her to find out she actually went home. Hum.....I thought to myself maybe that's why she was so antisocial?? LOL Anyways this lady was able to fix the problem right away then sent me to the bathroom. I was giving a urine sample for a urinalysis. As an RN I know how to give a clean catch & figured instructions (not that I needed them) were in the bathroom along with cleansing cloths since I didn't get either. Once I got in there I didn't find anything. So I went back out & asked the phlebotomist about a cleansing cloth & she gave me one. She either forgot or doesn't feel it's important to have patients provide clean catch urine samples?? Anyways, the lady and OMG I have forgotten her name since I waited so long after my visit to write this review (Sorry), was good about verifying my name & DOB. She labeled my samples in front of me. She was very professional & friendly. I enjoyed my very short time with her. I was glad & surprised to be in & out of there in approximately 20 minutes. This is not what I'm use to when I go to Quest. I may even have to come back to this location when I have to get any future lab work drawn. This place was very clean & tidy. Thanks for the 5 star experience Quest!! read more

Needed a blood test done ASAP. I was in the area and stopped by this location. There were no appointments available online so decided to do a walk-in. I checked in and was called within 5 minutes after that. Staff was nice. Blood was drawn with no issues. Interior is clean. Parking is plentiful. read more

My appointment was scheduled for today, September 15, 2024, at 7:10 AM at Quest Diagnostics, 6301 Mountain Vista St, Henderson, NV. After waiting for nearly 5 minutes past the 7:00 AM opening time, another patient noticed a sign near the entrance that read, 'We are closed due to an unforeseen issue.' I am wondering why the lab did not send an email to notify patients. It doesn't seem like they had to close last-minute, as the parking lot was empty, and no employees were present. It's interesting to know, I was able to check in, and it was told, "You are all set." read more

Completely unhelpful staff. They can't print a paper for you nor can they ever answer the phone.

This location is one of three near me and it always has plenty of free appointment slots. Now I know why. Everyone in my family has had an issue literally every visit, but I'll cover my own visit: This Quest is a bit hard to find. It's located in the back of a business center. on the opposite end of the park from the Walgreens. The building is painted red, so that makes it stand out a little. Thankfully, there is ample shady parking. I checked in and sat down. Once I'm called back to a room, I'm left under an air vent while the tech is arguing with another patient because they weren't sure the test her doctor ordered was correct for her condition. That's a common theme here. They "didn't recognize" the code on my grandmother's urinalysis when the location at St. Rose Hospital said it was literally the most common code. Seems like they're more interested in playing doctor than taking specimens, but I digress. I let the tech know that my veins roll a bit. I'm by no means a hard stick, but letting the tech know usually means they feel my veins and adjust their approach accordingly. I rarely, if ever, require a second attempt at getting a needle in. This tech quit after about six. Thankfully, she was nowhere near my vein so it didn't hurt at all. That's the only reason I let her try for so long, despite her insistence that she was in my vein. Lady, I'm no phlebotomist, but I'm pretty sure if my vein had no blood in it, I wouldn't have an arm! So she feels the vein in the bend of my right arm and starts opening a fresh needle. I glance away and then feel a hell of a pain in my outer forearm. What the fuck? She's jabbed me with a butterfly needle without even telling me. It hurt the entire time, when blood tests usually don't bother me. And, worse, she's blown out my vein. My appointment was two weeks ago tomorrow. I still have a massive bruise. The photo I'm attaching is my arm as of Sunday, 7/26. My lab appointment was Monday, 7/13. Oh, and the lady who did this was so ungodly unprofessional. The entire time she was doing my draw, she was telling me about some home repair saga and dropping F-bombs and just generally being unprofessional. I don't know if it's because I'm young or what, but it was not okay. If I spoke to people like that at my job, I would be fired. read more

Quest Diagnostics - This is my arm TWO WEEKS after my appointment. She didn't know how to find my vein so she did a butterfly without telling me. NOT OKAY. - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Henderson, Nevada

This rating is not about the techs- that do a great job. This rating is for the soulless, robotic business model upon which it's based. There is no receptionist- just a computer to check you in. There is rarely any employee present of whom to ask a question. This is a horrible example of an AI future where humans are excluded for the zDunning-Kreuger type executives who think that they know best. If there were another bloodwork service in this town I would definitely use it. If you don't know about the Dunning-Kreuger Effect- Google it. read more

I don't think anyone likes coming to this place. Not because it's not fun getting blood drawn or leaving samples but just dealing with most (not all) of the workers here and their attitudes is enough to give anyone a bad day. I understand that dealing with the public in this manner is not a dream job for most but most times you get what you give. You give a bad attitude you're gonna get a bad attitude. The waiting room is fairly clean and there are plenty of chairs to sit on. There's even 2 arm rest so if you had to sit next to someone you don't have to play paper, rock, scissors to see who gets to use it. The have a water jug and cups so if your stuck there for a long time you can get a drink. You can make a reservation online which is pretty sweet though the last time I made a reservation, I had to wait well past my reservation time. When you come in you check in on one of the tablets. It's pretty easy to use. After that you just sit and wait......and wait......and we'll, you get the idea. Hope you brought a good book or your phone is fully charged. Today the nurse who helped me was very nice and helpful. Looks like my day is off to a good start. read more

Due to covid, I recommend customers make appointments online before coming. They accept walk ins but they may turn you down if they are busy and has a full schedule. On Google, their hours are incorrect. They close at 3pm. read more

I came here on Wednesday to get some blood work done. I checked in for my appointment and only had to wait a few minutes. It only took a few moments for my blood to be taken. I had to pee in a cup to give to the lab. This is a good place for medical testing and lab work. read more

I went to a different Quest in the AM and was told I had to go to a different one because they did not have the things needed to complete one of my tests. So we drove over to this one, hoping for the best. When I tried to ask the lady behind the desk to make sure they had what I needed before I waited, she told me she couldn't check. Terrible service. I was told it would be an hour to hour and a half wait. 2 hours later, I am still in the waiting room. Update: it took them 2 hours and 37 minutes when they had said hour to hour and a half. Get it together Quest. read more

such an amazing bunch of staff. they always greet me with a smile, a hello and thay ask how my day is going. I go once a week for lab work for my health condition. each visit is an easy check in process, well organized and quick. the waiting room is well kept, clean and roomy...that goes the same for the back office booths and restroom. all the staff is skilled at their phlebotomy practice. well organized and prepared. they verify my information and when asked, they let me know about the tests being ordered by my physician then ask if I have any concerns before starting the lab work. before I leave they make sure that I'm fine, then thank me for my time and I do the same. read more

Chande is the sweetest phlebotomist. She has the best bedside manner and made my blood draw a painless experience! Appointment and walk in system is hectic. Luckily, I was able to secure a same day appointment online. There are a lot of angry patients in the waiting room. You can skip the line and check in on iPad. You might be waiting for a while if you don't have an appointment. read more

Recently had to visit here for a drug test for a new job. I was in and out within 25 minutes. I was there promptly in the morning so maybe that had something to do with it. The staff was friendly, although I've found most people are if you smile and are friendly with them first. The waiting area was clean. The woman who administered the test was friendly and explained everything completely. Although I had other things I'd have preferred to do that morning. It wasn't much of a hassle at all. read more

This location is filled with nothing but attitude - from the lady at the front desk to the phlebotomists. I appreciate the work that they do, but they need a lesson in interpersonal skills. As one phlebotomist was telling me which restroom to use, another phlebotomist said to me, "Girl you back here again?" The number of times I have visited this location was none of her business, however she was clearly confusing me with another person the same ethnicity as myself. Then to speak to me using vernacular that she thought I would relate to...that's another story. read more

Like the new set up but strongly recommend you make an appointment prior to visiting. Walking in prior to the plague was simple but now they have a limited number of openings and it may be 4 hours or longer until you can be seen. Always had great customer service from the employees. Scheduled an appointment for 3:15pm online. I arrived at 3:10pm and was called back at about 3:30pm. Staff was friendly enough for the most part. Once I was called back it was very easy peasy. Everything seemed very sterile and well organized. I would go to this location again. Pro tip. They don't seem to have a lot of change. Credit card is preferred over cash, unless you have exact amount. read more

A tip for Quest -- hire a receptionist and have all the phlebotomists taking blood. Don't allow the blood takers to play receptionist while people are waiting. There is over 10 people waiting. read more

Wow, this place runs like clockwork. I made the reservation online a few days ago. They kept in touch with texts. Upon arrival, I checked in with the assigned code, no people at front desk. Right on time, they called me back. Had the blood drawn, peed in the cup, and was on my way within 5 minutes. My favorite Quest location. read more

The ladies at this front desk have been yelling at older people since I got here. It's disgusting they way they are talking to these poor people. One lady, who was probably close to 80 was told her paperwork would be in the computer, when it wasn't the attendant (Stacy) continued to berate her over and over until she finally sent her back to her dr. The lady wasn't even 2 steps away when she turned to her coworker and started talking trash about the poor woman! What a disgrace! The person who helped me was decent, and I had no issues. However, I'm didn't need help. It's so sad to see people treated that way. read more

There is a heavy set white woman who works there who's incredibly rude who will say to patients sitting in the waiting room to get their lab work done they could not get labs done after waiting over 30 min, she wanted to leave and so they don't do testing after 1 PM or so she said, on more than one occasion students from surrounding schools have had to return to redo their testing because she couldn't be bothered making their classes late. How this person still has a job there is beyond me hopefully this message gets to the person who needs to look closer at her. read more

If I could give this place no stars, I would. My co-worker and I were required to go here for a random employment drug test. The place was disgustingly dirty. There were used biohazard items all over the place. The folks that work there don't seem to care if they don't quite get things in the trash or biohazard bin. They also seem to be confused as to what biohazard means. I've posted a few pics so you can see for yourself. One more thing, they actually forgot about my co-worker in one of the back waiting/blood drawing rooms for about a half hour. Unless you're confident that you're immune to everything, I would avoid this place at all costs. Who knows what you'll end up with if you do decide to go here. read more

This location has terrible customer service. The employees are more focused on side conversations and joking around right in front of the patients waiting for their appointments. Don't they understand a majority of the patients are required to fast?? The front desk receptionist kept telling the patients to check the tv for their status of when they may be called..even though she never turned it on and that information doesn't even show up on it. Overall they don't even rate a star, waited 2 hours and wasn't even called up to turn in my lab papers, is it another two hours to get called back to draw blood? Just to add to the ridiculous timing of this place. I'm at the Quest at Dif it's health and they called me up after 10 minutes to turn my lab paperwork over. read more

Rude staff, very unorganized, very long wait times with no clue how much longer. A gentleman in the waiting room was here for 2 hours and when he asked how much longer, instead of checking they just told him "as soon as it's your turn, we'll let you know" he asked for his paperwork back to go somewhere else and the clerk acted annoyed read more

Very friendly front desk check-in lady and the gentleman taking the blood work was great quick and fast.

I would never go back to this location! Staff were very rude and unfriendly especially that one receptionist who yelled at my 8 year old daughter for standing too close to one of their machines and blood samples. It's funny because SHE was the one who told her to stand in that specific spot while waiting for me and her brother! Was it really necessary to yell and give my daughter an attitude? You could've told her nicely to stand somewhere else and she would listen. If you have kids don't bring them here! They don't know how to deal with them. I took my 6 year old son for a blood test and of course he was scared and crying but these ladies didn't even bother comforting him! I could see the look on their faces... they seemed so annoyed that they had to deal with him. They need to learn customer service! Nastiest receptionist I've ever dealt with in my life. read more

So the phlebotomy tech's are good and that's where it ends! Did away with receptionist and you have to sign in on an iPad that tries to auto correct names! To bad their brain trust back in corporate wasn't smart enough to put instructions in big letters on the iPad so the elderly could see what they needed to do. But, hey that's what other patients are for, because Quest believes in HIPPA. Their phone appointment system is a joke that does not understand English! 30 minutes later, no appointment and it just gets tired and hangs up on you. The online system, you need a dang bit of luck to find it. Then you had better want an appointment 30 days out or good luck! And why can't we find all of our payables in one location? Why do we have to have each individual invoice number. Then they hate getting lab request from the doctors. If you don't carry them in you have a 30/70 chance their people pulled them off the fax and put them in the system. Oh well no one ever said that Quest Diagnostics corporate cared about quality patient care and not quarterly dividends! read more

I had a great experience at this Quest location. Kiosk check-in was easy. I recommend making your appointments online. I only waited 15 minutes before I was called back. Andre was very professional and competent in drawing blood and answering my questions. I did not feel any pain whatsoever. read more

Got there at 7:24am finally got called at 8:40am. That is too long to wait and it's always like this. If you go online to make an appointment they never have any morning appointments and the tests I have done always say you need to "fast" so I cannot go in the afternoon. I did notice the front desk girl is very nice now and the phlebotomist was very nice so that's a big improvement ... but come on that doesn't make up for the wait time. read more

This location sucks. Unfriendly staff, suuuuuper slow staff, and no communication. Will never be back.

I went in with my kiddo no appointment so quite a long wait. Lady wasn't so nice to me but it wasn't fit me so oh well. Doctor ordered allergy test and CBC so my kiddo didn't like it at all obviously kept trying to move and lady talked my kiddo through it and was very patient. read more

This star is for the amazing phlebotomist I was given at my appointment this morning. She was gentle and kind to my vein. Zero stars for the check in staff. RUDE. RUDE women. I checked in 15 min before my scheduled appointment that I made 10 days prior because of my work schedule... waited almost 50 min and walked back up to the counter and asked where I stood in line, as I had to get back to work. "Well, you didn't write that you had an appointment when you checked in." Wait, EXCUSE ME? I didn't write anything! I checked in with a live person who wrote something down and I told her I was here for my 9:15 appointment. That's on your staff. So I was just going to wait all day like a walk in?! Glad I spoke up. Only had to wait about 7 more min after that. But no apology and total incompetence for a simple simple task. Total disregard for patients. Really sad. I'll be finding a different location next time. read more

*** UNLESS YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT, SET ASIDE ~2 HOURS OF YOUR DAY *** Or arrive at the ass-crack of dawn -- 6am. I arrived as a walk-in a little after 9am and did not leave until 10:30am. Blah. Needs more chairs for as many people come in and out of there. Staff was pleasant and once you get back there it's relatively quick and directions are very precise, so I give stars on that alone. Other labs I've had to go to are very cold and give little to no human interaction. At least there was "Please" and "Thank you" involved here. I could also see how some of the staff could get frustrated when people are in the middle of helping one person and someone that just walked through the door goes and interrupts the person who has already waited. Don't be rude, geez. read more

Not too sure it's so great being the 'Duchess' of Quest Diagnostics!!! But I do visit here frequently unfortunately. I always come at 515-530 as my tests are always fasting and I can get in pretty quickly that way - never tried the appointments. I will give them 3 stars - I only wish more of the first shift employees would smile when they open the door - I can almost guarantee the people walking in here aren't excited to be here either and a smile would be nice and helpful. read more

Extremely bad service. Had appointment @ 7:45am Tuesday 6/23/2015. Waited over 1 hour and 20 minutes. 85 years old in poor health and zero compassion. Asked why the wait and was told I was 5 minutes late. Even through the see that I could hardly walk they did not even have the courtesy to explain all of this to me. If I know they were not going to be accommodating to the elderly & handicapped I would have gone else where, as I will in the future. Horrible service. Wayne read more

Got to say I'm pretty impressed. This place has defiantly gone thru some improvements since my last visit. You can now book an appointment over the phone, it's automated and a pain but worth it.
