Hands down the best quest diagnostics experience I've ever had. I always dread going to quest bc the service is normally subpar and there is no sense of urgency but this one is just unbelievable. I got here at 6:30 in the morning, without an appointment and I was literally walking out at 6:41. There are people helping you every step of the way, from the check in process to the waiting room into the patient room where they draw blood. They were all so sweet and so kind and even having conversation with me about my day, but moving so quickly and efficiently. Normally the experiences at these places are quite cold and not personable, but this one is different. I don't live in this area, but because of the experience I had here today, I am beyond willing to drive back here. They genuinely made my day better. Major shoutout to Lilly and Jill. They were SO kind and very good at their job. Even the needle poking was a breeze bc of how delicate Jill was with the needle. This place is pretty awesome, they have 90 min. Free parking and great patient (customer) service. They're friendly, patient & quick. My 4yr old gets crazy with needles & so I came here already fretting and hesitating the encounter with the nurse because they tend to not be so kind with a kicking & screaming kid. I have had a couple blood tests done at Quest. The blood tests were quick and efficient. However, when I needed copies of my past results, the customer service is TERRIBLE. I completed and submitted their request forms with no response whatsoever. Despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to get a customer service rep on the phone. Nothing but phone tree hell and voicemail abyss. No call backs. Never. I have traded emails with 2 different departments with no results. Each email takes 2 or more business days to receive a response -- sometimes no response at all. It is supposed to be possible to buy past results through the website but that part of the website is non-functional. Really, really bad. read more

If I could give a lower rating, I would. Our experience was absolutely horrible. Lily, dark hair and light eyes, made the visit all that more worse. First of all, there was an elder patient further behind me in line. I suggested her niece has her wait inside despite her place in line. This was because she couldn't stand for too long and whenever her turn came, she would be checked in. Until then, we went in an orderly manner as her niece held her place in line. When reaching the front of the line, Lily demanded I stay outside while she takes in the rest of my family. Reason being because they thought that elder woman was checked in but I voiced to her the situation. She ignores me, checks her in, and then says, "see she's checked in, you can wait." After waiting in a one hour line, we were finally called in. I had approached her with a concern alongside my family, she firmly answered in a disrespectful manner. When questioning her response, she grew more and more furious. We were approached by another employee and asked him in hopes of receiving a more respectful and tamed response. She intervened and yells, "If I say no, then why are you asking other employees?" We were in such a shocked state, it was unbelievable how someone in health care considers that an appropriate way to speak to patients. As I'm trying to explain to her the situation, she continuously shuts us down and invalidates our concerns. From the embarrassment and shame she puts us through, we had to leave. My mother stayed behind to speak to her and report that she will complain to corporate for her service. She then decided to take a nicer approach out of caution. However, she treated us like absolute filth and the rest of the employees stood back and allowed that. I demand something is done about the service and absolute disrespect. read more

I wish I had the option to give negative star. My experience with this lab was one of the worst experience in my Whole LIFE. The staff was unhelpful and had no humanity and respect to help a senior disable person with her question. They just closed the door and left to back office and however the person was asking for help over 10 minutes or more & no body take a single step. They just rejected giving the service to the patient and left the room and never came back to answer her further question. Eventually we had to leave the office after exactly "50 minutes" waiting helplessly & being treated with the most disrespectful and ignorant manner which someone can do to a disable and elderly person without any hesitation. It's a shame to a business I'm waiting for Quest diagnostic customer service to get back to me . Hopefully they are not as careless as the staff in the lab in 1500 S. Central Ave Glendale . I was directed to this place by someone who had done his covid-19 antibody test. I paid out of my own pocket to get the test done. Made the appointment online and was charged. Everything was fine at the beginning. I got my blood sample and the nurse said it would take no longer than 3 days for the results. No more info was given. It has been almost a month! 20 back and forward emails trying to get my results. Their website is a joke and apparently it's the only way to get your results?? Not in person, not by email?? How inconvenient you have to create an annoying account that even after creating it it FAILS on verifying my identify several times. There is not a real person you can call and talk to them over the phone. I asked in the emails and they just ignored all my questions and requests like getting my results in person o by email or to talk to someone about a refund so I can go get my test somewhere else because I NEED MY DAMN RESULTS!! But they just ignore your concerns and don't give a penny about your health. WORST customer service ever!! I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to live hell through them. It times like this when your health and your loved ones health is so important do yourself a favor and don't go to this place. Went today and had a great experience. I wouldn't really leave a review for something like this, but I had such a bad experience at another quest location that I figured I'd give a shout out. Make an appointment first of all. I waited in a line outside the hallway for 10 minutes, but the rest was quick, in and out in under 30 minutes. Patricia in particular was amazing, super communicative and helped with my anxiety by talking and distracting me. Clean and quick blood draw and then she let me lay down and leave under my own volition. All in all a great experience. read more

I thought I had an appointment. So if your reading this and your about to make an appointment. Make sure you get a conformation code. Otherwise you don't have an appointment and you will be waiting as a walk in. Therefore you might wait an hour or more. If you are from Quest it would be nice if you would fix the website to work fully and correctly. As I'm diabetic and was hungry for several hours. Hours before the blood pull and over an hour waiting. Ended up with a headache and feeling bad for hours after. Also I noticed that many times there was nobody at the front desk. I just think the service could be better in a few ways to avoid potential problems. read more

I really don't understand why I'm being called in an hour after my appointment. If you can't handle the amount of patients coming in, you shouldn't accept more at the same time. Made an appointment for 12:30 so I could stop by during my lunch break and do my annual test but ended up waiting 40 minutes. One of the employees took a very long lunch without giving the others a heads up therefore causing a traffic jam. When she came back she was confronted by the others and replied saying " I don't care." She was rude and made me feel very uncomfortable because anyone working in the medical field should always care! This place is a joke! Had an appointment at 11:15am. Showed up at 11:00.am. People in line at the door in the hall way. Sign on the door says wait here we will come out and take your temperature. For the entire 30 minutes I'm in the hall, nobody comes out to take anybody's temperature. I wait and I wait and I wait now it's 11:30am. I go inside the waiting room there is a check in tablet that when I enter my information tells me I'm 15 minutes late.I explain to the nurse I had an appointment but nobody came out to check me in or take my temperature (as the sign in the door says will happen). So she takes my temperature and the tv screen says I'm now 4th in line. Now it's 12:10pm and I've been here for one hour and ten minutes. Then just as my name moved to the top of the list indicating I was next with a 2 minute wait, suddenly four other people jump ahead of me on the screen and I'm back to a 12 minute wait. Do yourself a favor stay away from this place. They are terribly understaffed and unorganized. Find yourself another testing location. Your blood pressure will thank you. read more

This location is terrific. You check in using a tablet which was so convenient. Office was very clean. Although there were so many people there, i was in and out in less than 20 minutes. And Mike who drew my blood was very professional and efficient with his work. You come in with your lab script and insurance card and should have no reason to complain. How ridiculous this quest diagnostics site has become is beyond my understanding! They treat people with disrespect, claiming it has always been that way? I remember when there was great employees who actually cared about their patients. This guy who works on Saturdays thinks he is herding cow! He seems to think it's okay to write off the patient and move onto someone else when the patient still needs assistance. Considering that he lacks ethical communication and work etiquette behavior! Playing loud music and laughing loudly while the patients are upset inside the waiting room is not acceptable! Are you trying to run a business or a party room? I don't understand how people are not capable of understanding simple concepts. It is not the receptionist's fault that you showed up without an appointment and that 10 people came before you without an appointment. Obviously, you would have to wait until your turn. I was here earlier today and I saw all sorts of irrational folks. Some girl was complaining because SHE made an appointment at another Quest location and somehow expected to be seen here. Hahaha. Another fool complaining about not knowing that she could make an appointment online. :) Anyway, I had an appointment for 10:30. I signed in at 10:16. I was called in at 10:45. Sure, they were running late, but let's be reasonable. 15 minutes' delay is not too bad. Walter was nice. Desiree was nice. The Armenian parking monitor man was nice. Went for lab work. Had appointment at 1pm but didn't get out of there until 3 pm. Waited while the staff doddled and chatted. Parking under the building costs $2 with validation. Worst part is they required $250 deposit even though my insurance only charges $3 for co-pay. I've been to the Burbank office of Quest Diagnostics 4 times in past 3 months and there were no such shenanigans there. No required deposit, no two hour wait. Therefore I say AVOID this place. I can. Despite what other reviews may have said, nobody seems to have mentioned the GEM of this lab, Mr. Walter Duran. He is by far the most asked for phleb at any Quest location in Glendale. He's been drawing my kids' blood since they were tiny babies and has never left so little as a mark on their arms. More so, my kids hardly feel a thing! Whenever I take them in, I'm always hearing other mothers with small children request for him as well as the elderly. He's awesome at what he does. I've met each staff member and they are all professional hardworking individuals. Front desk lady, Misty is a sweetheart and can answer any question you have. :) BUT like any place, make an appointment first! read more

I am not sure about the poor reviews here, possibly some people create their own bad experiences? My wife and I are in our third straight day of going in for testing and here are our observations: 1) make an appointment, you will wait an easy hour plus if you walk in. 2) Walter at the front desk is a natural front desk person, sense of humor and professional. 3) We have each seen a different phlebotomist each time and I would have nothing bad to say about any of them. On the other hand I have great veins so I don't present any challenge to their skills. 4) the place is clean. Hope this helps! read more

I bring my elderly parents here for bloodwork, and generally speaking it's very clean facility, with friendly and helpful staff. The only minor complain is their break 12-1PM, and the fact that they moved the office to the farther wing of the building on the 3rd floor, and of course there are no wheelchairs in sight for those patients with fatigue or other limitations... read more

I was at Quest on Friday, Dec. 7 in Burbank. They had no notice that they would be closed on Sat., Dec 8. I get there on Sat. Dec 8 to drop off a specimen and they had a sign on the door that they were closed. Could they have put the sign up a few days early? No, of course not. The door sign referred me to the Glendale location, but did not give the hours. I get to the Glendale location at 11:01 and they are closed as they close at 11:00 AM and refused to take the drop off. Someone answered the door when I knocked was was very unprofessional and rude. Grrrrrrrrrr! All I wanted to do was do a drop off. They still had patients on in the waiting room. took an ealry appointment for my daughter for a timed, pediatric blood draw. we get there, and they tell us they can't accept the MD order form as it is not on a Quest lab form. We have been going to this location for years and each time have presented to them a printout of the MD order, with his name and provider number on it and they have always accepted it, but not today. Even on their phone message it states that orders can be faxed to them from the MD office. Their reasoning was that the staff that was working there all that time was not to have accepted such forms, and they have been doing it wrong all along, and that they only accept orders on Quest lab forms. This is news to me, since for the last 8 years, no one has told us otherwise. I called the MD office, they said this is ridiculous, they have hundreds of patients they send to quest lab with their printer MD orders and have no problems, so I don't know what is going on in Quest lab 800 S central location today. inconvenience, waste of time, aggravation and emotional roller coaster for my child--since this was a pediatric draw. I was expecting a horror story but it didn't happen. I went in on a Saturday without an appointment and was in and out in about 45 minutes. I have really small veins so usually I bruise bad when I get blood drawn but the lady that drew my blood did a great job and there was no bruising after. read more
