After waiting in line for a minute to check in at the kiosk (2 people in front of me), I navigated to the site to check in. Extremely easy and fast. After logging in and two clicks, I was checked in and sat down (the two in front of me were still waiting to check in). 90 seconds later, I was called to the front desk and taken to seat #2 and awaited my phlebotomist. One minute later, she arrived in the room, confirmed my identity, pleasantly & professionally took my blood, and released me to enjoy my day. All 11 persons before me were still waiting to be called in. Moral of the story, make an appointment when you can and take advantage of the online services.

This isn't a criticism of the staff, but of the cleanliness and upkeep of the space. The walls were very dirty and worn in every room and the office felt disorganized. Didn't look like the space had been maintenanced in a very long time. Most concerning, the bathroom door had no lock -- a real issue given that patients are constantly coming and going for urine tests (I actually walked in on someone using it). It made me question whether the lab area meets the same hygiene standards, if the visible parts of the office aren't being maintained. I don't say this to be harsh, but I hope the owner takes it as constructive feedback: investing in the physical space matters. It's part of how customers judge whether they can trust your hygiene practices.

First off, I was surprised to be able to get a morning appointment so quickly. At Quest, I usually have to make it at least 2-3 days out for a morning appointment since that's the busy time because everyone is fasting and wants to eat. I arrived at 8:09am and used the check-in feature that allows you to let them know you're there, but waiting in your car. I wish Quest had this feature since I'm often waiting in an uncomfortably tight/packed waiting room. Within 2 minutes I received a text letting me know that they were ready for me. I walked in and realized I was the only person there! No one in any of the waiting area chairs. The lady at the desk took my slip and completed my blood draw within a few minutes. I asked the lady if it's normally this slow, and she said no that it's usually busier. So, I guess I just lucked out on timing. I was out of there by 8:20am. I hope my future appointments here run just as smoothly.

Maybe I just didn't know I needed to request butterfly needles for my small veins. Regardless, it felt like a much larger needle than normal and the phlebotomist aggressively jabbed it into my arm while I was curling my body and telling her it hurt a lot. I have no fear of needles and have had frequent blood draws for various medical conditions. I will intentionally not return to this location.

I own a nearby Spa just behind the facility and after today having 2 of the quest patients come looking for a restroom, saying that they were unable to use a restroom in the facility. I tried to call the office only automated options none of which is an ability to speak with a person. Also no way to email the office directly. For a medical facility to not have restrooms available for patients is appalling. I know this is an attempt for efficiency but really!!!

I arrived at 10 AM and the waiting room was full. Very odd. I check in and I'm told: "We are now a walk-in facility." But, uh, I made an appointment on Friday. "Yes, but now we are walk-in facility." Right, and you couldn't have called to tell me that? Every person who came in after me went through the same experience. I opted to wait and was told it would be "45 minutes." 90 minutes later I gave up, asked for my ID and insurance card back and head home. No x-rays done and a completely wasted morning. What finally made me leave was finding out all the back office staff were now "in a meeting," so they weren't even doing x-rays. I'd been told I was "next in queue" thirty minutes before. But, now they were "meeting." By the time they were done "meeting," they would like all need to "go to lunch." It was never ending. Even if they'd done the x-rays, they couldn't have gotten them to my doctor. Their "portal" is not set up with doctor's offices. Their "sales rep" has to visit all of the doctors to set them up on the portal. They are no longer doing CDs. My appointment is tomorrow. So, this would have been imaging that ended up in the ether with no way to access it. Don't waste your time. Go someplace else. Apologies to South Valley Imaging for leaving this review here. If there was a Simon Med Gilroy page, I would have left it there. I will need to explain to my doctor tomorrow why I am arriving with no x-rays. But, I will also tell him to never send imaging requests over there. It would have been faster, and more productive, if I'd driven up to Morgan Hill, or another town with a functioning office and systems.
