We had the privilege of requiring care because our family of five was exposed to a strep throat infection. So our family which consists of three adults and two children were seen in less than 1 hour and we were engaged and updated throughout the entire process. To add to the complexity of my family you must also understand that all three adults in my family are registered nurses and have extremely high expectations of healthcare when it's being provided to our family. We discussed this urgent care visit and we are all just so impressed with this place that we will return to this urgent care at the moment that we have another concern. We will definitely be repeat patients here. We are sold with a front desk clerk who was awesome, the nurse, and the paramedic that Captured our vitals we friendly & efficient, and lastly, but certainly not least the awesome physician was so SO empathetic in his care & approach we are just overwhelmed by the superior quality of the care we received . I have wondered on many different occasions if physicians even care about their "bedside manner" anymore because it just seems sad because Everyone is in a rush and no one takes the time to be polite and listen anymore. But today I was changed and my family has been educated that awesome "bedside manner" DOES still exist. I will go to this place a million times over. I walked in without an appointment and was still seen almost right away. Everyone- front desk, vitals check lady, and PA Barron were patient, caring, and kind. I actually felt like they valued my opinion about my own body and symptoms rather than dismissing what I said for their expert opinion (as so many other doctors do), and left with real advice I feel confident will actually help me (as opposed to a catch all antibiotic I'm usually prescribed). It was some of the worst service I've ever received from a medical professional. In contrast, Brittany, the nurse who came to my home, was fantastic. Despite experiencing technical difficulties with her equipment, she communicated clearly and made sure I understood everything she was doing. She was kind, compassionate, and did her best to make me comfortable. I was extremely frustrated when I learned that I wouldn't be able to receive actual treatment because the provider was not physically present. I requested to see another provider that same day, and they scheduled an appointment for between 3 and 5 PM. However, no one showed up, and I received no communication. After calling at 6 PM to ask for an update, I was told that no one was coming and that I would need to go to the emergency room. This is especially disappointing because insurance typically discourages ER visits, and I am in too much pain to get to a doctor's office or urgent care. That's the whole reason I chose this service. My previous experience was great, but this time, it was completely unsatisfactory--100% thumbs down.
