Barring maybe a root canal, nothing is worse than needing labs drawn. Whether it's an annual lab…read morefor your doctor's visit, or something that you need drawn more frequently, there is nothing easy or painless about the process: make an appointment at the doctor's, wait, pay a copay, get your lab orders, go somewhere else to get them drawn, wait, get stuck (OUCH! -- I've had my arm ache for the rest of the day in the past after a bad stick) and pay a huge fee again. If you know what labs you need, though, Any lab Test Now makes this a nearly painless process. I was first introduced to the concept a few years ago in another state. Once I realized how convenient and overall awesome it was, it became my go-to for any labs. CBC and BMP for my annual doctor's visit? I'll get those at Any lab test now, thank you very much. A1C because my love of sugar cookies makes you worried about diabetes? Any lab test now, please and thank you. I was despondent after I moved and couldn't find one nearby, but elated when I saw that the location in Royal Oak is now open! I swung by recently and am happy to report that is the same convenient, awesome experience that I know from the other location. Walk in, register (if you're new), pay up front for the labs you need (no insurance co-pays), and the friendly receptionist/phlebotomist will take you back to a more private area of the store for a blood draw. The phlebotomists here must have been trained at Hogwarts, it's like magic how little it hurts when they draw blood. Tourniquet never too tight, quick pinch, and within about 5 seconds it's all over, and you're on your way with a tiny band-aid. The whole process takes less than 10 minutes from start to finish, faster if you've been there before and you don't have to register. You can have lab results sent to you (usually within 24-48 hours), and also directly to your doctor, so they can look them over. Skip the expense and the hassle of your traditional lab visit, and head to Any Lab Test Now for your next lab draw!

Then we were directed where to go and wait to be called in. As with previous visits here to other departments, everyone was friendly, professional, and made us feel welcomed. It was very quiet throughout the facilities, maybe because it was after 7pm and not too many people came in for any treatments. Even though it was not busy, we still waited over 35 minutes before my wife was rolled into the X-Ray room and had her X-Ray taken. We found out that there was a miscommunication problem and our check in hadn't been relayed to the X-Ray tech who was getting ready to close.
