Terrible! Terrible! Terrible!…read more I had to get my blood test for life insurance. The lady there poked a needle in my arm but couldn't get any blood out. She literally shove the needle while it was still in my arm to see if she can get blood out. SERIOUSLY??? I could've sued her for that. It was super painful so I screamed and the other lady apologized and stepped in to get my blood. Ofc she had to do on different arm so ended up having two arms bleeding. I felt so humiliated and felt like I was experimented. If you are inexperienced, then do practice on yourself , not others!! What's scarier is when she asked the more experienced lady whether she should throw away the needle she poked in me. Seriously???? I am genuinely concerned that one day somebody might get HIV from this woman inadvertently and the person wouldn't even know until ten years from now. I seriously wonder if she is properly licensed based on that question. My goodness! The other experienced lady was trying to cover up the mistake by asking if I am properly hydrated. I mean lady! Even if I am not, I still got blood flowing in my body!!! Come on!! Highly DO NOT recommend this location! Also watch out somebody might sue this center for malpractice!

On Saturday, January 20, 2024, I took off work for a scheduled exam with Exam One. The…read morerepresentative that was supposed to come to my residence at 9am did not show up nor did they call. I finally received a text message from the agent at 9pm, telling me that she had "a bad day," and asked if I was available the next day. All this occurred after my original appointment on January 16, 2024, when I left work early and took an Uber to Exam One's location, only to find out they were voluntarily closed--yet no one informed me of that either. After speaking with Exam One they said they tried to call me to inform me they would be closed, but discovered in our conversation they had the wrong cell number documented in my records. Since I was unsure how this happened, I overlooked this initial mistake to later find out they sent me an email to confirm that appointment. Why Exam One did not send me an email to inform me they would be closed on the 16th is unknown? Why it took the representative12 hours to text me after missing my rescheduled appointment on the 20th is unknown? What I do know is that I cannot get back the $1500 they cost me by missing work. What I do know is I will never use Sharon L Powell at Exam One, 1334 Sulfur Spring Rd Halethorpe, MD again.

Well. I thought that I would have a higher review for this place. But unfortunately I don't at this…read moretime. Which is unfortunate due to my first visit being amazing. I was in some pain and needed to see someone. I spoke with Michelle( I think her name was) and was very pleasant and kind on the phone. I get there and the provider was just as kind as Michelle. That day, Michelle was working as; Medical Assistant, Lab Technician and receptionist. Which those are 3 different jobs btw. I needed some lab testing and they were very gentle despite my situation. Then- this is where it kind of went down hill. I was summoned to come back due to an "error" with the lab. I was very hesitant as this was very painful procedure. It was a different provider and this one - not so gentle hands. I was ready to walk out. I was in tears in the exam room from so much pain. I could hear the assistant apologizing profusely while I was laying on the bed. Not to mention this provider opens the door while a male was standing at the door while I not fully dressed. When done, I walked out almost in tears. During this. They have an option to text a number. Forget that. I have been texting them questions since July 7( now July 13) and YET no answer. So don't bother with that. To make matters worse. I get yet ANOTHER call saying the lab messed up my SECOND sample and had to come in again. I cried. I said so your lab messed up a second time?! I get there- very unhappy. I'm irritated at this point. My original provider comes in. I made a comment about this being the third time and she was confused. Apparently it was NOT documented that I came in the previous day to take samples so the employees the next day weren't aware. Imagine my relief but extreme frustration. Still waiting for confirmations and questions. So I'm really disappointed in this place. I was very pleased with my first visit. But I don't know.

Seeing a lot of negative reviews from uninformed or ignorant people and Covid bs, I felt the need…read moreto leave a review. I have been to this place numerous times over the years. I have used it more for ugent care, usually on weekends and times my normal doctor wasn't free. I recently moved back to fairfax and had to visit a few times. I have been assisted with normal colds and viruses, along with some sports injuries which required xrays. Every time, the experience was a good one. Wiat times were never a problem, better than most doctors' offices. The staff was always polite and helpful. English may be a second language for a few of the staff, so they may be quieter and not as talkative, but always nice and professional. I will continue to use this location as it can be much easier than a primary care doctor. Also, to those who complained about billing, I would always rather have them bill as a primary doctor visit over urgent care. Every insurance alive charges more for an urgent care or ER visit versus doctors office visit.

Do not go here to receive COVID 19 Test because it is not free…read more My wife and I made an online appointment for COVID 19 Test from the car for Sept 15 at 3:30 pm. I notified them that we had arrived. Someone came out and took our insurance cards and ID. Apparently they forgot about us because I called them at 4:30 to remind them we were still waiting. We then took the COVID 19 test fifteen minutes later after being required to answer a few questions from the doctor (3 minutes tops). They then billed my insurance company (Blue Cross/Blue Shield) $150 for an "Office Visit" for my wife and $194 for "Medical Care" for me. And then billed me for the $30 and $35 copays. COVID 19 Testing is a cash cow for this office. Answering a few questions from the doctor over the phone doesn't count as an "office visit" or "medical care" in my book.

Especially when moved out of the ICU into a more one on one type situation, they anticipated what I needed before I did, and no matter how much my 2nd bout with Pancreatitis had me snapping at them, they eased my mind. Thank you Will from the night shift. That was only COMPLETELY OVERSHADOWED buy the amazing order in service led my Scott and his fantastic team. I knew going into the situation the medicine would get me better...but that food did something for the soul! Building little relationships with each shift! Thank you so much, this is from a patient perspective, so if life is so unfortunate to give you the lemon of poor health, make some lemonade with them! For not being able to eat for days...my first bite I was praying was enjoyable. ENTER THE CHEESEBURGER! Wouldn't have thought it was from an institution, was touched by a flame, and fresh! My trick was to order rice and gravy with it and kind of make a Salisbury Steak that would kick the crap out of the best grocery store brand! Thanks for helping me stay on track to health with delicious healthy food, and warmth from your souls. (And for bringing my gravy up 20 minutes after you closed ) From Sonya, Ureneta, who took the orders, to Jacklyn who delivered! Colin
