Came here to take a pre-employment drug test. You don't have to make an appointment but I strongly…read morerecommend you to do that. When I walked in on a weekday around 10:30am, there were at least 20 people waiting in the waiting room. As soon as I saw the crowds, I wanted to leave but this place was the designated lab by the company to take a test.. The service was slow. Even people who had an appt had to wait about 20 minutes or more. I had to wait for an hour in the crowded small waiting room. They'd call a new person in after you see at least 5 people walking out. I even had to wait a little more once I went inside. I just didn't understand why it was taking this long. All they had to do was to collect my urine and get my signature. It only took them maaaaybe 5 min (or even less) to finish my test. I saw so many staff working there so I really think it shouldn't take this long. It sure was an interesting experience though.. As you never have to take a drug test if you're employed in Japan. You'd never get a chance to even see a piece of marihuana there unless you try sooo hard. But I hope I won't have to come back here.

I utilized this lab in October of 2018. While the staff was as nice as can be, it was the insurance…read moreend that left me deciding to never use this company again. Labcorp charged over $500 for three test that I could have gotten downtown for $70. I was told they would cover the work but my insurance had a problem with the doctor ordering so they would not pay. I didn't find out till after the fact. Labcorp would only discount my bill by 25%. Better than nothing I guess. I truly think they use people just to make money. If the same test is $70 elsewhere they are upcharging the test at Labcorp and it is hurting the working public. Just a money maker and not caring about people. I will not be back.

I recently had my first appointment with Dr. DuRussel at El Paso Pain Center, east side location…read moreand I can't be more pleased. The staff were all wonderful and helpful. They were thorough and sincerely concerned about my pain. When meeting with Dr. DuRussel, he was extremely knowledgeable of pain management and very thoughtful of my quality of life. Again, I cannot express enough how pleased I am with the entire experience and I can say that I look forward to my upcoming appointment and new treatments which I hope improve my quality of life. If any staff are reading this review, I must say I am grateful for your support, kindness, and willingness to help with any concerns I had. If I do not mention the following, I would be remiss....... I must remark that before I went to my first appointment; I was very apprehensive, so I looked for reviews on this location and Dr. DuRussel. When looking through the comments, I took notice of numerous one star reviews regarding issues with wait times. I must say that I was taken aback because, if you are in as much pain as I and many others who need pain management are; then, for me, I would wait as long as I had to in order to get relief. In my experience, first appointments always take longer than others. Subsequent elongated wait times for appointments may simply be due to the fact that the doctors and nurses want to make sure that the patient receives excellent, thorough care. So, when you are being seen and the doctor takes his/her time in seeing you; it is funny how no one complains that providers were "too thorough" or "cared too much". Just something to ponder. I would recommend The Pain Center wholeheartedly. With sincerest thanks to Dr. DuRussel and all of the staff, W. Braswell
