Ronnie is the nicest, most efficient phlebotomist! Zero wait time (with appointment). Great all around experience.

Wow, what a difference a virus makes. I'm guessing they had to close the Lakewood location because…read moreit consisted of a tiny waiting room with 5 or 6 chairs and 1 tech/receptionist. Fast forward to Fall, 2020. Brand-spanking new office. Finding it though is a little like a scavenger hunt. Pay attention to my notes! This lab is located inside the Texas Neurology Center ("TNC") [sorry, legal profession here], behind the Beeman hotel. Turn into the parking lot just before getting to SMU Blvd. Drive straight past the hotel and you will see the parking lot for both Tenants and Visitors to the left of the TNC. There was plenty of parking in the garage on a count of it being so new. The sign says that Visitors should park on levels 5 and 6, but it was virtually empty at 9am so I stopped at 3. The elevator banks are on the north side, stairs on the south side of each level. On the first floor, there is no signage to indicate that you should go inside the glass double doors that make you think that it is strictly for TNC patients. Not so. When you go in, you will stop at the reception guest, get asked a few Covid-related questions, get your temp taken, and will then be directed to Lab Corp. It is a left and then immediate right down the long hallway, past the reception area for TNC, past office doors with no numbers, and almost at the end, you will see the LabCorp sign on the left. They will have two (2) check-in machines to scan your QR code given to you by text shortly after you schedule your appointment. If they aren't working, simply walk up to the window and take a sanitized pen, sign in, then place the pen that now contains your cooties in the box marked something to that effect. I had a 9:30am appt but received a message at 9am that they could take me as soon as I arrived, so I drove the 1.2 miles down the road, checked in at 9:14 and exited the lab at 9:17. The girl arriving at the same time as me was finishing up as I walked out. Facilities are nice, new, and modern. Best lab experience I've ever had - hands down. Blanca says check 'em out!

If I correct they close a 5:00PM I left one of my Lab Orders in the car. When I asked if I could run a grab it, she flat said NO cause we are "finna" close. There was still 15 minutes until closing. So unprofessional, if she don't like her job she should find another y, please remind her she's working in "Patient Care / Patient Services. At a different location on 8877 Harry Hines Blvd. Dallas,Texas 75245 The Lab Technician advised me she could only do one of the LAB ORDERS but You are WELCOME to take BOTH to one of Our other locations and she took forever to come and check on those of us that had signed in. She was too busy ON HER CELL! Customer Service is just POOR! The job didn't choose THEM, THEY chose the JOB!!! Make this make sense! Respectfully Ms. Walls

I'll admit, I was a little nervous walking into this Labcorp location after seeing the 2.6-star rating. Thankfully, however, my experience couldn't have been more different -- it was truly a 5-star visit. I originally scheduled an appointment for 8:45 AM, but due to traffic I arrived about 10 minutes late. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to reach a real Labcorp employee through their phone service (press 7) and let them know. They were incredibly accommodating and reassured me that it wouldn't be an issue and that my appointment spot would still be available when I arrived. Although it's a typical Labcorp location, the check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff was incredibly friendly from the moment I arrived. The phlebotomists were patient, professional, and kind. When the first phlebotomist had trouble finding a vein, she didn't rush or force it -- instead, she took the time to get someone who could, which I genuinely appreciated. That's when James stepped in, and he was absolutely phenomenal. He immediately picked up on the fact that I was nervous and went out of his way to make me feel more at ease, keeping the conversation light and genuinely comforting. There was a small miscommunication about how many vials were needed (it ended up being 8), which meant I had to be restuck to collect the remaining 4. Even with that, James remained calm, reassuring, and incredibly professional throughout the entire process. Technically, I was stuck three times, and as someone who hates getting blood drawn, I can honestly say this was still not a bad experience at all. The care, empathy, and professionalism - especially from James - made what could have been a stress situation surprisingly manageable. If you're hesitant because of the rating, don't be. Based on my visit, this location absolutely deserves a higher score.

Okay, no problem. They take measurements and then I ask if there will be a urine sample? They check the computer and say no, so I use the restroom. They then are about to begin bloodwork and say there actually is a urine sample so they can't finish assessment. I'm not someone that can pee without fluids and on the spot. They kick me out while I go find water (they don't have any) and then when I return promptly I have to wait and rudely was told to go to the bottom of queue (over an hour goes by and I'm constantly passed by names below me as they just stare at me with no estimated time) so I just end up leaving. Very incompetent workers. The worst part was the worker blamed me for cancellation when they messed up and I was truly being polite. I get mistakes happen, but the service and treatment was horrendous! Management should look into these employees.

Upon entering this place shortly after they open, you are greeted in a green room by a bunch of empty chairs facing you and a sign in kiosk. Behind is a TV mounted on the wall talking up how great Quest Diagnostic services is to you, the customer. Signing in was somewhat easy as it finally recognized me and began populating some of the data fields to check over. I grab a seat and in a couple of moments I was welcomed by a very comforting friendly lady who seemed to have been a life long friend! Around the corner we did the vital checks and she quickly and painlessly took blood. Off I went. Simple, easy and out the door.
