I have been at Quest for approximately four hours on the standby list. I completely understand that patients with appointments take priority and that being on standby means there is no guaranteed wait time. That is not my complaint. My complaint is the way Latonya treats people who do not have an appointment. She is rude, dismissive, and makes you feel like you simply do not matter because you are a standby patient. People are coming here because they need lab work done, and everyone deserves to be treated with basic courtesy and respect, appointment or not. During my four hours here, they were only calling approximately two standby patients per hour, and at one point roughly 90 minutes went by without a single standby patient being called. After waiting patiently for that long, asking a simple question about the wait should not be met with attitude. I understand being busy. I understand appointments come first. What I do not understand is treating people as though their time and concerns do not matter simply because they walked in without an appointment. Better communication and basic kindness would make a huge difference. read more

The hours says opening at 6:30am 7:38am still in line outside doors locked, an employee comes out if her car "what in the hell" She ends up waiting with us about 10 people in line for the door to open. Once you go inside everyone is moody. A very rude pink scrubs employee came out and rushed us all said to ignore the phone if and medical card to be scanned on the kiosk, that just makes the inside part a lot longer hanging the phlebotomist take care of the cards. There is a reason why you need to check at the kiosk with your id and insurance Very rude staff! None of them had name badge either and the 2 employees that I asked asked me why do I needed it, I end up saying never mind because I was scared they will mess up my arm after seeing their reviews ‍Definitely find another location, not worth your time to put up wt this BS is not like we show up for free anyway! If you want to get stabbed a bunch of time by people who don't know what the bell they are doing then come to this location! I get blood work done regularly I've NEVER. Had a issue with someone finding a vein, I drink tons of water before I go for I know, 4 stabs later and a needle fishing in my arm for a vein the 2nd girl finally got one, now my arm is all messed up and I look like a druggie! Have been coming to this location for years. The last time, I wasn't able to click on the arrival link so I had to knock on the door and ask for help. By now, I'm over 10 minutes late and was put on the standby list. The tech said, it's my phone. Today, I had the same issue. I knocked on the door and asked if I could use the restroom b/c it was an emergency. I have chronic colitis and it truly was an emergency. LaTanya kept telling me to go down the hall, when I clearly stated it was an emergency. I also told her I can't check in and she told me I have to wait outside for someone to help me. Huh? There is no receptionist. Finally, a kinder, more professional tech asked what I needed after she let me use the restroom. I was just picking up a stool kit. They certainly don't make it easy for the disabled and elderly. May have to find a new lab. read more

I would give a -5 if I could. I came here for bloodwork around 2-3 months ago. I realized that only part of my bloodwork was done, so unfortunately I had to schedule another appointment. As a fellow healthcare worker, it's difficult to schedule time off to take care of our own health, so it's an inconvenience to have to come back due to a mistake. I returned to get my bloodwork done. Fully fasted. My appointment was for 1pm, but another one for 8:50 am opened up so I changed it to the sooner one. I asked the techs if I could be seen at my new appointment time. The techs that came out to answer never took accountability or provided helpful answers. They'd blame my doctor for "not sending in the order" or they'd blame me for "not checking in correctly." Finally, the tech that initially drew my blood the first time came out and I asked if I could be accommodated due to the mistake that was made on their end. This tech pretty much told me that she didn't make any mistakes or she only did what was generated on the computer. I know for a fact that my doctor did not only order a portion of the exams to be done. I remember clearly when she pulled up the orders on her monitor and I know my doctor sent the orders in bc i saw it on mychart too. This place is ridiculous. Terrible experience. I was a walk in and knew I would have a wait. But after 1 hour wait realized that someone who came in well after me needed assistance from another person and I heard him say he had no appt. When they called him in I waited to speak to someone to inform them. She asked if I see my name on the list ( which I couldn't see from where I was sitting) informed them that I did not. ( she had the oh well ) attitude. Turns out 2 others were in my same situation. It would be nice to have them consider the future customer and revise their system but like most medical entities they won't and could give a dam so long as they are paid by ins companies. Zero customer service. When patients have trouble signing in thru their computer system there is no one to help. If you are able to catch an employee to request assistance, they avoid you and offer no assistance at all and do not offer suggestions for resolving your issue. I do not often give 1-star reviews. In most cases I prefer not to give a review at all if I have nothing nice to say, but I just can't stay quiet about Quest anymore. I'll admit out of the gate that I don't know what parts of the process this place is responsible for and what corporate is responsible for, so I'll just outline the entire awful process. First, I tried a walk-in because appointments were booked for a blood test I was supposed to get for weeks out. Well, I spent somewhere around 2 hours in their cramped, terrible little waiting room to no avail. Alright, I guess walk-ins aren't the best idea here - so next, I made a reservation and came back 3 WEEKS LATER. Did I mention they don't have staff to greet you? They have these little terminals and if you go in and 1 of the 2 is not broken or the screen isn't flickering, consider yourself lucky. Getting blood drawn was actually the only OK part. The staff was OK to me, and I'm told my veins are hard to miss, so I got off easy there. Then there's the billing - which is what "inspired" me to write this. I have been arguing with them about a bill - that BOTH of my on-file insurances have already agreed to pay for - for over a year now. First they were confused because I guess Quest doesn't train their employees on how to handle patients who have 2 insurances. After several months where I'd call each month and be told the issue was resolved, I'd get a new bill (read: the same bill) and start the process all over again. So I removed my secondary insurance for THEIR convenience, since the tests were so routine it'd all be covered by my primary anyway. Nope, guess how many bills I got where they billed my secondary and ONLY my secondary insurance? Not 1, but 2! So I had my primary literally call them to explain the situation. I was told it was resolved. Oh hey, it's my Quest anniversary and what do I get? Another bill. Billing the wrong insurance. Told it's past due. It echoes many other reviews on here, but sometimes I wonder how many hours of my life I have wasted trying to get them to do the thing they are supposed to have done from the start. As of now, the issue is STILL not resolved, and I'm not confident me dedicating more of my life to it on Monday is going to change that. I know not everybody has a choice in where they get their blood drawn, but if you can avoid this place I highly recommend you at least try. Just... ugh. I drove out to this location because I sent able to get an appointment locally. As I walked in I noticed they have a smaller waiting area so it seems more crowded because check-in area is by the door. I checked-in thru my mobile prior to walking in so after confirming my name was on the screen I took a seat. I couldn't help but notice 7/9 people there didn't have appointments and they were all senior citizen some didn't speak English. Nancy, one of the phlebotomist was helping them all with the check-in process and making sure everyone was checked-in. She was very diligent and spoke to them with care. As soon as everyone was settled in she called me in. Drawing my blood was quick, she was very nice and I gave her compliments for treating everyone with dignity and respect. read more

I scheduled my appointment in advance to drop off my test sample on 8/12/24. I arrived on time and checked in at the kiosk, but somehow I didn't receive any notification. They then told me to come back two hours later. I explained that I was just there to drop off a sample, but the staff member said I needed to return as a walk-in customer. My mother had come in today to have blood work done before her upcoming doctor appointment. She was informed by the cold, heartless, empathy lacking front desk lady that she could not do a walk in and that they are only accepting appointments. That's fine and completely understandable. My mother who speaks English as a second language and is not very tech savvy request assistance from the same cold, heartless, empathy lacking front desk lady. She would not help. She made my mother feel stupid she made my mother feel frustrated and hopeless because she wasn't helping her. All she did was repeat that it needs to be done online so that she's in the system. When my mom would ask her a question she answered with pure heartlessness. My mother called me on the verge of tears explaining the situation to me and I was disgusted and disappointed. And btw my mother is very sweet and if it wasn't for her I would have called and ripped you a new one just to make you feel as bad as you made my mother feel. To the front desk lady working 7/21/23 between 11am-12pm, if you hate your job then quit. You are in the business of helping people not making them feel worse. She's already sick and anxious and going through a lot and all you did was make a woman feel helpless in a time where she needed help. read more

Couldn't get blood first two tries. Then got another employee who got blood on the first try thank goodness. Said problem was after shower this morning I had put lotion on which I always do and. This is the first time it has ever been noted as a problem. Told to always drink 8 glasses of water and never use lotion after a shower when getting a blood test. read more

Made an appointment 2 days prior. Got a text message 20 minutes before my appointment saying to click on provided link when I arrive. When I arrived, I clicked on the link and checked in through my phone. I didn't even have to use their kiosk. I waited about 5 minutes before being called back. It is easy to make an appointment. I do not recommend going the stand-by route. Many had been there for many hours and could not be seen because everyone with appointments were keeping the staff busy. A one star review is being generous. Where do I begin. I visited this site on Feb 6th and they only performed 3 of the six tests ordered by my doctor. The phlebotomist severely bruised my arm and it was sore for over a week . I have good veins and have never had an issue in the past. Coincidently , my wife also got the same phlebotomist a few weeks prior and also had her arm bruised and was sore for over a week. I contacted Quest customer service to find out why the other 3 tests where not performed and waited over an hour for a response . Their response was that a supervisor would contact me. Two days later no call from supervisor . Called customer service again. This time they told me that they just did not perform the test and that I would need to schedule another appointment . Not sure why they did not tell me this the first time I called . Scheduled another appointment on Feb 28th and explained that they did not perform 3 of the tests requested from my doctor. The supervisor told me that she had left 2 messages , which is not true and showed her my call history on my phone . As luck would have it , I got the same phlebotomist as last time that bruised my arm. I told her the last time she drew my blood she bruised my arm and it was sore for a week. She very rudely asked if I wanted another phlebotomist and when I said yes , again very rudely and no apology ,told me to wait outside. Unfortunately, this collection site is one of the best of the worst with a 2.5 start rating as compared to other sites in this area with ratings of 1 and 2 stars. I will call my insurance company to see if they accept Lab Cor. You might want to consider doing the same and avoid Quest labs in the Corona area. read more

Did this location have a change in leadership?!! I've been coming here for years due to the location and while most phlebotomists are decently mannered...today has been a complete change!! I used to hear attitude tones calling people to come in and huffing impatiently waiting for elderly patients get out of their chairs. Does it say that they stopped doing it at 2:30 get there for walk in appointment wait an hour and a half when they call me back they told me they can't do the test. I used to go to this locations years ago and then switched to LabCorp. A doctor specifically requested I use Quest for these labs and as I sit here waiting and waiting I now remember why I stopped coming here. First off - there is no more front desk to ask any questions only kiosks. Ok fine most places do this now. But the problem lies in when you try to ask one of the employees there a question they are very rude and have an attitude where they can not be bothered. There is literally so many other people in this waiting room trying to ask questions because let's be honest - the kiosks are not perfection and sometimes do not scan properly, or maybe a glitch in the system...regardless of whatever it is - these employees should be a bit nicer especially since most of us are fasting and would just like to get in and out with out any hiccups in the process. Quest you can do better than this. I've never had any issues with employees being rude at LabCorp and it is why I will continue to use that establishment versus Quest...and next time a doctor prefers Quest I will fight tooth and nail to not have to go here. Absolutely ridiculous how rude these employees are...and they are going to stick a needle in me....I shudder to think of the chair side service!! read more

Flat out one of the most incompetent companies that I've ever dealt with, it's unbelievable that they're not out of business. All I needed to do was schedule a test for myself & my boss in Corona, & one for another coworker in Pasadena. I wasted all morning, went to 2 locations, & was greeted with nothing other than incompetence, & the same business card with the useless automated system's phone number on it. Whether it's their completely useless automated phone system that just hangs up on you if you insist on speaking to a person, or their appointment time, which they were late for, or the fact that they wouldn't answer the phone to tell me to not waste my time coming in since they won't let me take the test w/o paperwork from my office first, or that they couldn't tell me what paperwork they needed in advance, or... You don't deserve my money, & I sincerely hope that my company sees how many man hours I wasted trying to get you to do your job, & switches to someone who is the opposite of you: capable & responsive. read more

The good part was that I had an appointment and they took me in within 5 minutes of checking in. The bad part was that the lady drawing blood poked one of my arms really bad with a needle and couldn't find my vein. So she then poked my other arm to try that side. Never had this problem before. Seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. Ended up leaving with bandages on both arms. The lady at the reception desk even felt sorry for me. Avoid this location if you can. Their system is not very efficient. I arrived as a walk in on a Saturday due to no available appointments. My doctor ordered a 3 hour glucose and since I work full-time I could not come in on a weekday. I looked up locations that were open on a Saturday and this particular location indicated they were open from 6 to 12. I arrived around 7 something but had a wait time of at least 2 hours. As I passed the 1 hour mark I notified one of the technicians that I was there for a 3 hour test and I was worried that I wouldn't be seen. She basically told me it would be hit or miss and I should maybe try another location during the week. I explained I only have the weekends available. She again reiterated there were others that were waiting longer than I had. When I was finally called back by another technician she said "oh no. We can't do this. This is a 3 hour test. We close at 12." She proceeded to state I should have notified someone earlier that I was there for a 3 hour test. Sigh. So basically I wasted my morning waiting in the waiting area just to be turned away. Note: while I was waiting, there were numerous people who were very upset and yelling at the workers. Apparently many people who had appointments were still waiting 45 minutes after their scheduled time. My advice: Just avoid this place altogether read more
