Great visit again. Making the extra effort to come here because they've work quickly and efficiently the past few times. I used to hop around to multiple locations just because it didn't matter where I went due to the slow service and lack of care in almost every other location. However when I stumbled across this lab, maybe a year ago I was very impressed and decided this is definitely the best location in all of Broward County. This Quest Diagnostics location manages the walk-in and appointments well. I make my appointment using their app and they alert me by text thirty minutes before my assigned appointment. As I arrive to the location I check in on the app. Within five minutes of my assigned appointment I am taken into the office and verify my insurance and prescription. My blood in taken by the phlebotomist and im finished in under ten minutes. Very simple and painless process. Love this location. read more

I do understand how overwhelming this job can be. However, i think they should have a better system when it comes to drop off samples. I was told by an employee that I can drop off my sample at any location. I came in and to my surprise I had to sign up and wait until I was called to just drop off my samples. Thankfully my insurance now lets me go to Quest in addition to Labcorp! There is absolutely no comparison when it comes to the two lab draw centers. This Cooper City Quest location was the second one I had been to. It is smaller than the Davie location but the waiting room is still clean and inviting. I actually did not even get a chance to sit in the waiting room as I was called in seconds after I checked in. I had an appointment for my company's annual biometric and lab check. I also had a lab order from my physician. I did not have an appointment for those labs but the tech was nice enough to do them with the same blood draw. So convenient! Wonderful experience getting my Biometric test done. I had made an appointment prior to my arrival. When I checked in, I was called immediately, no wait. My technician, Dainty, was extremely thorough. She told me she had been working for quest for several years, and it sure showed. She was friendly and extremely stylish. This was terrible. I came to Quest today for a blood draw. The receptionist was snarky at first then gave me a compliment. I checked in and went to the room to get my blood drawn. The woman taking my blood was very rough with the sleeve for my arm. I asked her to be careful. I knew she would not do a good job if she could not even be gentle putting on the rubber sleeve. She put it on so tight and then I asked her to move it down because I was in so much pain. She did. Well, unfortunately I was right. The blood draw was the most painful I have ever had in my life. The blood draw left a huge bump and my arm is very purple in that area. I am not a wimp with this stuff either. I never complain about blood draws. I am tough. But this was unacceptable. Also, getting an appointment was very difficult. I had to wait almost two weeks. I understand Christmas was in between that time but it still should not have taken so long. Getting blood drawn is a nightmare for me since I have some of the worst veins ever as I've been told by many phlebotomists. This particular Quest has the best and most patient phlebotomists working there and they always try their hardest not to stick me more than once. If you go here I highly suggest making an appt first because they're always very busy. Lab results are usually available from their app in 48 hours or less. read more

I pull up the picture attached and said, 'Look at this... you might want to let management know what it says because I definitely did not see it. At least not on the main page. All it says is, 'Walk-ins Welcome.' Sure you cant fit me in? I will wait.' She looks at the phone I was holding up and says, 'I am not allowed to look at your phone. AWFUL ! Everyone here today has been waiting forever. They are skipping people and leaving people unknowing whats going on. Everyone that works here looks confused and overwhelmed. Standby is getting skipped and called out of order. The waiting room is TINY and there are clearly some very sick people here. No masks or hand sanitizer anywhere. Terrible customer treatment. . The three employees in the front are rude and not helpful at all. I went fasting for my appointment and they told me I didn't have any appointment with them. They were the least helpful and not nice. I had to leave and then I called corporate and wrote an email of how terrible the service is here. Also, called my insurance company to let them know how lousy this location is and rude. So they don't send their customers here. I won't give it any stars. Nothing was good there. They had a line of 20 people outside. Most importantly was their rudeness and unwilling to help. I left and I wasn't able to get my tests done. I have to miss another morning to do my tests. Ugh, who likes to get blood drawn? No one. But if you're going to get it done, come to this location. Other than the actual needle stick, the rest of the process is pain free! I made an appointment online, but they do accept walk-ins here. Upon arrival, you check in with a digital sign-in stand. Once signed in, your estimated wait time is displayed on the television screen set up in the waiting area. My wait time was less than a minute! Love that! When they call you back, they confirm the lab test requisition information from your doctor's office and take your co-pay (if any.) Note: They don't accept cash, so make sure to bring your credit card with you. Like most laboratory testing centers, the phlebotomists are really talented, and this place is no exception. The draw was quickly and efficiently done. I've left some doctors offices with huge bruises and barely have one from my stick here, so I'm pleased. Overall my visit was much quicker than I expected! Medical Staff is excellent, but buyer beware on insurance. Unlike most medical service providers, they do not advise you if your health benefits are accepted. After listing my new insurance on-line while making the appointment, and at the time of check in for my routine diagnostic tests, was I told this was out of network and my new insurance was not accepted. A very expensive lesson in patient Customer Care. Customer service for Quest advised this was my problem not theirs, you should read you benefits book. Nice read more

One of the cleanest and most efficient Quest Lab you can find in S. FL. My husband and I drove up from Miami Beach on Saturday bc he travels during the week. We needed a location with Saturday hours. Alison was super nice from start to finish. I will be driving to this lab when I need my next blood work as it's clean and friendly staff. I had occasion to go to your outlet in Cooper City on March 23, at around 12.15 pm to drop my specimen which was sealed together with the paperwork in the envelope provided for that purpose. I thought it was just a matter of handing it over the counter. As I waited someone on the other side of the counter asked me whether I was dropping off a specimen, and when I replied in the affirmative, I was asked to sign in and wait. After about 10 minutes, my name was called and I went to the counter to hand over the envelope and I was asked where the paperwork was. I told her it was in the envelope along with my specimen as per the instructions on the Quest package which was given to me. She said she needed to see it, and instructed me to open the envelope. I took out the paperwork from my doctor and handed it to her. She spent a good part of the next 4 minutes, studying the paperwork and then she asked me whether I had Medicare? I enquired as to why she needed to ask that question as whatever information she needed was already provided on the paperwork. After another 2 minutes of studiously looking through the paperwork, she then made a copy of it and then she asked me where the specimen was. I told her it is still in the envelope. She then told me to take it out and put it in a plastic bag which she handed to me, and sign my name on the signing device provided on the counter, which I did. As I was leaving I asked her whether all this jumping through hoops was necessary when it says on the envelope that "No postage necessary if mailed in the United States". I could have saved this totally unnecessary protocol if had just dropped it in a mailbox. Quest management would do well to review protocol for people dropping specimens off at their outlets, so that some of their employees do not come off looking like dumb robots. Super quick and easy!! I looked online at all the reviews for the Quests in the area and picked this one based on high stars. No appointment necessary. Arrived at 6:45 on a Tuesday, they open at 7:00am. Signed in on an iPad, was called back within 5 minutes, and left maybe 5 minutes after that. Definitely recommend this location but also recommend arriving right when they open if you don't have an appointment. read more

I went to this location during the Covid Crisis and I was very nervous. But I have to say my experience was better than I expected. The staff had a good flow of getting patients in and out quickly but at the same time I never felt rushed either. I like that it's a latex free facility that was a huge plus since I as well as many others are allergic. The only bad thing was the waiting room is way too small to have a 6 foot distance between people who come in. I know they limited the number of people allowed in at the same time but the customers actually didn't even try to keep their distance at all but that's not the company's fault. Staff was nice. and a HUGE PLUS you can check in using your phone no need to touch anything even the front door was opened for me by staff! read more

Terrible experience: went there on a Saturday without knowing about "By appointment only " Was met with rudeness, arrogance, lack of professionalism. The place was EMPTY, but the Jamaican lady supervisor spent good 15 minutes talking down to me about the sign on the door instead of helping and when I pointed that out to her, I was asked to leave. There was an obvious racial profiling in hiring staff at this place- ALL of them have the same accent and obviously come from the same town. They somehow were able to create this little Emporium in the middle of a predominately white town ( I'm sure there's plenty of local nurses that would love to work there) And I wouldn't care about their country of origin at all(being myself an immigrant) but they act like they are there for their own comfort and patients are just an annoyance! They don't like seeing more than a couple of patients in the waiting room at the same time and treat people with arrogance and rudeness! I won't be going to this place again and it's a shame since I live within a walking distance. I went to this place early saturday morning according to their time they open at 8am so I waited outside a good 15mins. Some black lady with huge mole on her face was very rude as she came to open the door for the 5 people standing outside and said read the sign she posted on the door with tape it said "Appointments Only" so if you don't have one you will not be seen..I was given a brochure by my doctor on all locations for Quest, no where does it say for this location Saturday appointment only...ok I get it if that's how you conduct business, but rude staff that's unacceptable it was to early in the morning to be disappointed that you got up to make it there early and then to find out you will not be seen she could of been nice about it and give the 5 people a break we were all there before her..I will not go to this location ever so forget about going here where staff are not compassionate about the people they serve. Very rude staff. The front desk lady was arguing me over questions my doctors needed to answer for a specific test. I called my doctors office and turned out he staff was looking at a different test the whole time. I told them the test code and everything and they still continued to argue with me, mind you I'm 20 weeks pregnant and haven't eaten all day for this. Poor lady couldn't even see anything on my license or my insurance card and kept typing the wrong information in my file. NEVER AGAIN. They need to hire people that know what they are doing and aren't rude. Worst experience ever! read more
