This particular MRI machine seemed louder than others I've been in, however, with ear plugs and headphones playing music from Pandora, I wasn't bothered by the sound so much. Overall, this was a positive experience as far as getting an MRI goes.

Once I gave her the order she said that she couldn't put the order in because I had a past due balance from 2024. I was very confused because I had not been to any LabCorp location since 2019. So I told her that that wasn't possible. The worker told me that she "didn't know what to tell me" but that I had to pay the past due balance before she could put my new order in. I was like whatever and paid the bill (because it was $8) and she gave me a receipt while she input the new order. I look at the receipt she handed me and saw it was for someone with my name, but in a city and state I have never lived in. So I told the worker "this isn't me, I have never lived here." And the worker responded "well it's your name." Like I am the only person with my name in the entire universe. There's a reason you're supposed to check other identifying information with patients. She then proceeded to tell me that someone "probably stole my identity" and that it's "not her problem." She then proceeded to tell me to "calm down" and "stop getting hostile" after I asked her to confirm that my payment for my visit for today was actually going to me instead of someone else like the last payment. Because I'm obviously not allowed to be upset. She then began yelling at me that she couldn't have known since it was the same name (because again there was surely no other way she could have confirmed it was for the right person because there's only one person with my name in the entire world apparently). So instead of taking accountability for her mistake and attempting to rectify the situation, or at the very least APOLOGIZING, she accused me of being hostile and yelling. My doctor wanted me to go to Christ Hospital for the CT but I wanted to check around for price. Christ Hospital was $300. When I arrived for my appointment Proscan Imaging told me I owed $350.00. Now a few weeks later I get another bill for $40.00. That's $265 more than their estimate. Plus my results are not in My Chart because I was told after-the-fact that Proscan doesn't put results in My Chart. I consider this a bait and switch.

Patients are provided with a small dressing area & locker, so that they may change into metal free hospital pants & shirts and remove any metal dental appliances. This is much more pleasant than taking off metal objects, electronics, and partial plates in the waiting room of some other MRI facilities, in front of other people, and handing them to your spouse. This facility provides as pleasant of an experience as possible.

For this visit I wanted to go with an appointment. Appointments may be made online. The location closest to me did not have any appointments for the next two weeks. This location had times and days that worked with my schedule. I arrived 15 min. before my appointment, and checked in at their contactless check-in kiosk. Three minutes later I was called back. A quick temperature check, and we were on our way. After entering in some additional information it was time for the test. Everything was done quickly. I was on my way by my scheduled time. I encountered two employees during my visit. Both were professional. I would have no qualms utilizing this location again.

Finally I had to leave in disgust (especially after the male phlebotomist told me that they had received the email but apparently still want me to wait more). They never acknowledged the receipt of the second fax on the day of the test. I would not recommend such treatment to any patient. Really? The receptionist told the couple in front of me that it would be 1 or 2 days before the results came in. I asked if they could be emailed and she told me no, probably for security reasons. So, imagine my surprise, when I arrived home in Columbus 2 hours later and flipped through my emails, head pounding, and found my 'results' had been sent to me 1 1/2 hours after shooting the MRI. Seriously, you can look through two patients before me and 600 images of me in under two hours? What a crock. Clearly this is not incompetence, but criminal behavior. Both were helping other other people. I could hear them laughing with what turned out to be two elderly people. When it was our turn, they were equally jovial with us, as well as our young daughter. My veins are hard to draw blood from. Valerie was the phlebotomist helping me. She took great care in finding a good vein, and was able to collect on the first try. The waiting room is a standard room composed of chairs, magazines, and a water cooler.
