Horrible experience, patronize this business at your own risk. I am practically crippled since my…read morelast procedure. The Staff, including the Physcians, claim no responsibility. I was referred to DIR by Dr. Mark Striebel who previously practiced family medicine in Huber Heights, he has since moved his practice to Richmond. Dr. Kamal Morar diagnosed my condition, post DVT in my left leg, as insufficient blood flow. He scheduled a procedure to Cath my left leg to get better blood flow. After the initial procedure, my symptoms of leg swelling was not improved. My leg got progressively worse, so I went back to DIR. This time I met with Dr. Sebastian. Dr. Sebastian formulated a plan to Cath both legs, and insert a stent in my right leg. I had no issues with my right leg at that time. I arrived on the day of my scheduled procedure and learned that Dr. Morar would be performing the procedure. I had high hopes that this second procedure would correct my issue of swelling in my left leg. During the procedure I felt excruciating pain in my legs as they were catherizing my legs. I was told post op that Dr. Morar ran short on time and was unable to place the stent in my right thigh. My leg had ulcers that had developed since my first Cath on my left leg. I soon realized that I had lost a fair amount of my mobility in both legs. I received no referral or medical advice on the ulcers on my left leg. I realized I was not receiving quality medical treatment or advice from the Doctors at DIR. I went to a wound Doctor at Sycamore and within six weeks my ulcers had all healed. The Doctor also provided a prescription for compression stockings for my left leg. It's been over a year now with no ulcers and no swelling, but I wear my compression stocking religiously every day. I realize all of the Cath procedures caused more harm than good. As stated earlier, I now must live the rest of my life with pain in my legs, and with limited mobility. Think twice before turning your health issues over to DIR blindly like I did. My bill for all procedures with DIR are paid in full.

No one there seems to know what's going on. My brother had a procedure and did not receive any…read morepaperwork at discharge to tell him of an appointment he had been scheduled for 2 days later. They also did not provide the disc of the procedure to take to that appointment. When I called DIR, the patient rep was clueless as to what was going on. We've had nothing but a run-around, from the scheduling of their first consult to the date of his procedure. Would recommend going elsewhere.
