10/10 I have never had a bad experience with Beacon. Everyone is very professional and kind…read more Plenty of parking, easy to locate where you need to go through the building, large seating room, free coffee, comfortable seating, and free wifi. Check in was quick, prep was even quicker, and the entire time my son was in surgery I knew what stage he was in. After surgery they called me while I was in the waiting room to go over the procedure amd any questions I had. Recovery the ladies were amazing and answered everything I came up with after already being asked lol. They quickly got us discharged but did not rush us, we were ready lol.

This review is for the billing department, OrthoAlliance. First, make sure any payments you made…read moreare applied to your statement. Over $1,000 paid wasn't shown on my statement. When they apply it, make sure you get an itemized copy "PRIOR" to making a payment. When I received my revised bill, they applied part of the $1,000 to an item that insurance covered and had already paid100%. I had to ask for "another" statement, and it was "wrong". I had to walk the billing person through the payments I made and what those payments covered. They spread your payment throughout multiple items. I paid each bill (online) that I had in my hand at the time in FULL, as long as it matched up with my insurance coverage, which I check online before paying. When the next bill came, it showed some of the line items had a balance. So I called "again" and finally got it worked out. I've NEVER had an invoice like this, where they take your payment made and instead of applying it to the item for the exact amount due, they decide to spread the love around. Why?? My guess it there were other changes, but I haven't received the invoice yet. But again, Why?? Makes no sense.

Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine - 10/10 but I definitely don't want to be a regular here lol. Meaning I don't want my son to have any more surgeries

I have gone here(Montgomery location)1 and a half times! The first time I went the receptionist…read more was very rude to me, like my questions were dumb and she didn't want to answer them. Very short and rude. The doctor wasn't bad, he was in a rush but I work with doctors and surgeons so I know. He helped my foot so the outcome is all that matters. So now to my half time! I made an appointment because my toenail ripped off while I was in hawaii. I received a text message stating it was on 2/5 @ 2PM. So my husband left work to watch our child in the waiting room. The same receptionist was so rude once again. She said she remember seeing my name but I was not on the schedule, then she said looks like you were scheduled yesterday. I have a text saying different, she never apologized and just stared, let's get you rescheduled. Ok I get mistakes happen but own up to it, say you're sorry, try to get me in as soon as possible .None of that happened... We left before my husband got into it with her and got an appointment in Kenwood annnnnd it was amazing!!! I have never had any issues with doctors or receptionists, I mean a foot doctor, the one I see every now and then!

My experience at the Montgomery office....why would a surgeon tell me after stating that if I wait…read moretoo long to do surgery that it could cause permanent damage to my foot, and then say "I can treat this as conservatively or aggressively as you'd like". THEN states that since it's October, she may not even be able to still get me on a surgery schedule! After unwrapping my broken foot from the partial cast the ER put on me the night before, she proceeds to put my bare foot into a walking boot with hard plastic around it!!! I asked her to put the cast and wrap back on, took the boot and left in pain and tears. I had surgery at Beacon Orthopedics 5 days later. After I was told it was OK to put pressure on the heel only in a walking boot, I stated I already had one from the podiatrist so I didn't need one. After a week of using said boot, my incision became infected from rubbing in this boot. Found out from Beacon..... that's not a boot for a broken foot, it's for an Achilles tendon injury! Caused me a 3 week setback in the healing process. Now I just got a $300 bill for that wrong boot. No way! This doc was clueless!
