After spending 5 months recovering from a stress fracture and never fully being pain-free, I…read moredecided it was time to try a new doctor. I couldn't be happier with that decision. My previous doctor would spend no more than 5 minutes with me in the room and was telling me the only way to become truly pain-free was to get custom orthodics that would cost $300 and would need to be replaced each year. Enter Dr. Osborne... I was able to schedule an appointment with Dr. Osborne the same day I called, and he spent over an hour with my at my first appointment, explaining why I was having the pain and what he was going to do to fix me. And while he also recommended orthodics, his last at least 5 years. I'm currently marathon training, so the sooner I could be pain-free the better. Dr. Osborne put in some temporary padding to get me through the 3 weeks prior to the arrival of my orthodics and I couldn't be happier! If you are having any foot problems whatsoever, especially if you are a runner, see Dr. Osborne... you won't be disappointed!

The receptionist was super friendly and made me think I was doing the right thing, so I went. Now, almost a week later I'm kicking myelf for living with that pain for so long. Dr. Temar was amazing and gave me a few options, in short, my pain was gone within the hour. The office is easy to get to, very informal and has plenty of parking. I had radiation @ St Mary's Oncology Radiology with Dr Sharma for pain in my lower back & hip. I had no idea that the radiation was going to do so much damage to my hip! No one told me that at the end of my radiation txs I would need a hip replacement!! My hip was fine before the radiation! A few weeks later was when the pain really started & after 2-3 months it was unbearable!! Dr Gunzenhaeser - Orthopedic Surgeon told us that my hip was the worst hip he had ever seen & he didn't know I could walk with it! Two different times Christy helped by moving my surgery date & time forward, faxing my Physical Therapy orders & all of the other things that needed to be done quickly. Christy is very knowledgeable & she definitely goes above & beyond. If it wasn't for Christy's constant monitoring in my chart & checking in with me many times- my experience @ Beacon's wouldn't have been so smooth! I presented my insurance card and was assured by staff that my procedure would be covered. I have been notified that Dr Katz was out of my network for at least a month prior to my appointment. I am now on the hook for hundreds of dollars on something that should have been covered mostly if not all by the ACA. My appointment was preventive and had I known I'd be charged, I would have canceled and found a different doctor. Always be sure to call your insurance prior to any doctor appointments. I've learned the websites aren't always up to date and the office staff can mislead you.

Best recommendation I've ever received -- Dr Katz rocks! I also must say her staff are stellar too -- the administrative assistant is very good about returning calls or messages, and her nurse is so sweet and helpful. While an annual exam isn't something I think anyone exactly looks forward to, I'll say that going here is such a non-ordeal I really don't mind it at all. And it turns out that a couple of my friends go to her as well - they're as big fans as I am.
