Very disappointed with my experience at Quest Diagnostics today. My appointment was scheduled for 11:20 AM, and I arrived at 11:10 AM to check in. I ended up waiting for over an hour and a half before finally being called at 12:49 PM. What made it even more frustrating was seeing multiple people who arrived after me get called back before I did. I understand that delays can happen, but waiting this long for an appointment I arrived early for, without any explanation, is unacceptable. Staff was extremely rude, they have 0 customer service skills. I waited for about 30 minutes just to speak to an employee and was met with a snarky attitude. Can only assume the care is as horrible as the people working there. This location should be shut down, only reason it makes any money is because of its location. Checked in at 4:20, lady comes out at 4:35 and says she's not taking any patients after 4:30. I informed her i checked in before then and she insisted she's not taking anyone else. Glad i wasted 15 minutes and now have a delay on important lab work regarding my pregnancy. This occurred on April 16, 2026 - didn't get her name but should be ashamed. I came in for an annual drug screening, and staff did not seem to even know how to do that. The did not go through proper protocols for drug screenings at all. After giving my urine sample the tech went to go find 2 other people to see if I had enough in the sample. They came back and said it was fine. I asked multiple times if that was fine or if I needed to give more. They said it's fine and to go. Next day I get a call saying the test was inconclusive because when they poured it into the actual testing vial it wasn't at the appropriate temperature. This is obviously due to the fact that they spent 5 plus minutes just trying to figure out if there was enough of the sample. The techs were not properly qualified for their position at all. Now have spent over 30 dollars for a basic drug test that I had to get done twice because of their incompetence. I would much rather recommend the location off of Communications and Parker. Their service is always a 10/10 with properly trained technicians. Sadly had to go to this location because it was the only one with available appointments. Now we now why. read more

The other reviews are right! This practice is efficient and skilled. I don't look for much on the social side but they were kind. DO NOT however go in without an appointment or come in early expecting to get seen. There were literally 17 other people in the office waiting but I found an appointment on my phone after seeing the waiting room. Luckily an appointment opened up that was 5 min from then. I booked it, checked in, and was called back in the next minute. The other people who had been waiting for at least 20 min gave some glares and I did feel bad for them but at the end of the day, quest respects appointments. Other than that: The phlebotomists know what they're doing, literally get you in and out within 8 min after checkin. I'm someone who is a bit stressed when it comes to getting any kind of cut or bloodwork done but they were kind and efficient. I will say that they do use a larger needle than I'm used to and I did feel it going in (my physicians office uses a smaller needle but take multiple times to find the vein). It wasn't much pain at all and only hurts for like 1 second. She got enough blood to do two tests, one for something I ordered online and another from my doctor. Overall well worth the 20 min drive out. I couldn't wrap my head around going to the Albertsons lol. I will probably come to this location from now on. Oh yea side note, the parking on the side where the emergency vehicles drop off/park seems like the only parking lot, but the other side of the building has a much more open parking lot that is right next to the quest doors. You'll have a good sized walk if you park on the emergency side. read more

The lady working on Saturdays at this location does not want to do any work she can turn away. I showed up 20 minutes before opening today to be the first in line to register as a walk in. After opening the doors she asked if anyone in line did not have an appointment. When I told her I did not, she told me not to sign in and that I most likely wouldn't be seen because I needed an appointment on Saturdays. I told her their voice mail didn't say that, only that appointments take priority. She then said that an appointment was required on Saturdays and preemptively turned me away. She had no way of knowing every appointment for the day would actually show up and I should have been able to wait it out to see. This was very unprofessional and I will ask for referrals to a different lab in the future. Please look for a little more than just a phlebotomy certification during your hiring process. read more

My visitation at this location was for employment that required a drug screening. I've had other screenings prior to this one, but this visit was great. I met a male assistant who stood out for his work ethics and performance. Not to mention, we share the exact birthday. His groove demonstrated a passion- to me '' he loves what he do" for his role as a Supervisor or Manager. I was taken care of with no infractions, no wait time. If I am correct, his name is Claude. The technicians/phlebotomists at this location are very nice and professional (except for one lady, she couldn't find my LARGE blue vein - I've only seen her one time). The technicians are thorough and painless (except for that one technician). It's important to note, management needs to perform some type of quality check on employees. The one technician who couldn't find the LARGE blue vein that is visible from the moon poked around in my arm - I had to stop her and told her I was leaving. I walked out front, reentered my information, was called back in, had a qualified phlebotomist, no pain and I was on my merry way. read more

You must speak up or you will be left Waiting no matter if you have an "appointment". If you get a text to return to the draw center - knock on the door when you go back in. This may be the same for all blood draw centers at this time. If it's not absolutely necessary to go then steer clear. read more

Hi Quest team, really bad service. I just left your 4333 Josey lane, suite 105 location. These people were very rude, they did not take the blood for at 45 minutes from the schedule time and were bringing all patients that were not even on the list. They started misbehaving when I asked them take care of the 83 years old already sitting in the room where the blood is drawn for over 20 minutes. Then they wanted me to leave the building and they called security on me. In return, I called Carrollton police. Of course, they asked me to leave and report to Quest management. This is becoming a norm at this location and our whole family living in this community has been noticing this. read more

I just wanted to reach out and talk about my great experience at Quest. I had signed up for two separate appointments on the same day so I could handle both tests without needing to leave and come back. However, when I got in, Tiera, my specialist, told me that sometimes the system won't allow two appointments in one day and may knock the other off - additionally, for the tests I needed, it can be challenging to do both at once. I understood, accepted her transparency, and mentally took note to schedule my other appointment later. But as we started my checkup, Tiera let me know that she was actually going to go ahead and let me do both tests because she understood what a hassle booking a new appointment can be and that it wasn't my fault. It may seem like a small thing, but I was so impressed at her kind gesture to take the time and do that favor without me even requesting if it was possible. Worst managed facility ever! I went there for a routine drug screening and arrived 45 minutes early. I checked in using my QR code and heard nothing for 45 minutes I went back in, re-checked in it said it'd be another 44 minutes of waiting. Finally, a staff member came out and I asked if there was a status on where I was in the queue. She told me "Oh if you check in again you're put as a walk-in." Why did I go through this, scheduling an appointment when I could have just walked in?!?!? I'm sorry, no receptionist, no status indicators, no text messages all to just pee in a cup? Your system is broke Quest and after this screening, I'll never use you again! read more

I was in and out in about 10 minutes. just follow the signs once inside the building to find the clinic. i had an appointment for 7:30am, you check in at the kiosk, not with an actual person so i recommend definitely making your appointment beforehand and bring your ID and insurance card to scan at the kiosk. i sat down and was called in within 2 minutes. they already had my doctor's lab order for my blood work in the system as well. i believe Graciela took my blood, she was extremely fast and knew what she was doing, didn't even feel the needle or blood being drawn. read more

Went here to have bloodwork done and didn't have an appointment. As a result I had to wait while a dozen customers went ahead of me. They have no process to handle walk-ins. The lady actually told me I had to wait until all patients with an appointment were handled. Basically, when we looked at the screen which said two minutes, someone walked in and went to the front of the line. We waited 20 mins even though the wait time on the screen said 5 mins. The monitor is useless and means nothing. Don't come here as a walk in. You are treated like a second class patient. Maybe next time I'll go somewhere else. I recommend you do the same. These people are especially rude, too. Not patient friendly. read more

I needed blood work for my two doctors and did not have an appointment. I watched the website for the estimated wait time, and went to the location as soon as the estimated wait time was reasonable for the amount of time I had available that day. I brought paperwork from each of my doctors, and Ny was terrific! She was incredibly efficient and easily accommodated my request to lie down (I'm a fainter :)). #1 I thought I set up an appointment but apparently the recorded line on the phone number is incorre so me along with 10 other people have been waiting with the notion we have appointments #2 there is absolutely no help desk to speak to or keep things moving #3 people in the waiting room have attempted to speak with the nurses and staff and they are immediately greeted with aggressive, rude, loud and inconvenienced responses. I have NEVER seen such horrible HORRIBLE customer service in my life. So incredibly rude. I highly suggest looking elsewhere for testing this place is incredibly awful. Quest Diagnostics is typically quick and efficient. I have been there many times over the years, and my only gripe is the wait sometimes. I wish I could make an appointment, but I don't think they do appointment times. I think the longest I've been there is 30 minutes, so it is never toooooo bad. The billing process is easy. For those of you that work 8-5pm weekdays and can only go on Saturday mornings to get lab work done, this place may not be for you. From 930am, I waited 65 min before getting blood drawn as a walk-in. For someone who works out in the evening and has to eat breakfast in the morning, coming in fasting makes you a little hangry aka hungry and angry. I was however impressed with Sarah and her phlebotomy and people skills. I was severely dehydrated and she 1) got a butterfly needle for me because the bigger gauge was painful 2) instead of completely filling each tube, she drew adequate amounts in all 7 tubes so that it would go by faster 3) she asked me if I was okay and was friendly. Got there 7:31 on a Friday; 6 or 7 people on waiting area already; i checked in using their tablet attached near the receptionist window which is closed with blinds; 7:33 done checking in and screen said my estimated wait time was 41 mins and i chose the option to wait outside the building+text me when they're ready for me. I left and went to Sprouts which is nearby. I came back 7:50 thinking i would wait out the rest of the time inside. But when i got back there were no more patients waiting i thought "wow theyre fast" (or i was slow) .../ ANGIE the nurse with a smile said "youre Nanette? Were waiting for you" - she is warm, nice, but competent and professional... in and out within 5 mins --- she drew blood no pain! When i got out from the room, there were more people again -- i guess they are just fast. No complaints! Will recommend! read more

My baby needed to have some blood drawn. The lab tech was quite inept at drawing blood on my 10 month old and she couldn't find the vein. She kept trying to fish around under the skin to my baby's distress. When my daughter's mother asked them to stop, they wouldn't oblige and kept poking around. She had to threaten to call the police to get them to stop trying to draw. They gave her a major attitude for the duration of her time there. We will not use this lab in the future, there seems to be a lack of sensitivity in the employees there. read more

This is in the Baylor Medical Center. Walk in through atrium and go straight. I was seen in a timely manner. The employee was not overly friendly and warm but she did her job and did it well. I consider it a job well done because she did not have to stick me more than once or get help, it was quick and I did not faint. I was out of there probably 10 minutes after arriving. read more

My wife went here for some basic bloodwork. Her experience was very similar to AB's review. First, when you call, no one will answer. They DON'T HAVE a receptionist. So that's a strike against management, who are too cheap to have a receptionist. Seriously?? The place is very under-staffed, so no one has time to answer the phone. So my wife just went, without an appointment, hoping for the best. The place was packed and the wait was long. The staff was run ragged, clearly not in good states of mind. Again, this is a management fault - but it's still unpleasant for the customer when people are not friendly and welcoming. (My wife felt sorry for them, really.) The only reason this isn't a 1-star review is she DID finally get to have her blood drawn and the person drawing her blood finally warmed to her after my wife talked to her. But my wife could tell how worn out these folks were. Her nurse was initially cold and unfriendly, and it sounds like the other staff was the same. She will NOT be back. Period. She just went to CPL lab, in the same area (Josey and Hebron), and had a wonderful experience, including a normal appointment set-up before going. No decision - easy choice. read more

My wait time was 5 mins in the waiting room and then the process of insurance, and copay plus blood work about 10 mins. My tech was friendly, thorough, and efficient.
