Absolutely horrendous people, had me wait for an hour after telling me I could be seen for my APPOINTMENT 30 minutes early. I explained that I had to take an anxiety medication prior to getting my blood drawn so I wanted to make sure I could get in, and that I had to be seen early due to child care conflict. One person told me that was fine that I could be seen by a certain time. Then they took multiple walk ins instead of seeing me. After an hour... When I asked after waiting for an hour a different employee told me i was at the bottom of the list, that they would be taking every single walk in ahead of me and was so insanely rude that I left crying. I would urge anyone to not go here. They are horrible, insensitive, with NO bedside manner at all. I'm disgusted. The women I spoke to doesn't deserve to be working in this environment. I don't know why this Quest has such bad reviews! The staff were very kind and compassionate. I do not do good with blood draws so I was iffy coming here with all the bad reviews. They took really good care of me and I could barely feel a thing. They have a kiosk for easy check in. There might be a small wait time just because of how busy it gets but then you're in and out of there. read more

This place is full of lazy people. I'm the only one in the lobby as a walk in. No one is checked in. No one is being served. The next check in appointment is at 12:30 and it is 11:00 now. I hear people in the back talking about the weekend. A staff member walked in 20 min ago and has been seen since. There is a glass door so I can see them doing nothing. Literally, what is the excuse? This place is horrible. A lot of times people who are really sick can't wait for the appointment times. I have been unable to get an appointment quickly as my doctor wants the bloodwork done asap and the appointments are all 2 to 3 weeks out if you want a morning fasting appointment. That's including all locations it shows for my zipcode which is locations up to an hour away. I have been waiting for a walk in appointment since 830am. At that time the gentleman before me had been here since 7am. It's now 11:06 and I still haven't been able to see someone. I am fasting and need results today. There are only two technicians working and one of two has taken a total of 3 people since I've been here. The other one is trying to move fast but just can't make up time on his own. Quest should not have an open location with only two technicians. This is sad. read more

took a routine drug screen and it came back with results that were not my own. they listed several drugs that i have not taken in years and the ones i am aware of were off the charts, and completely false. if you need a drug screen test for any reason do not come here, buyer beware!!! read more

This place is an absolute joke. I was on the waiting list and waited over 2 hours. I had to leave and came back to wait another couple hours. It's impossible to get an appointment in the morning so all you can do is wait. The ladies here move like sloths and I think they take enjoyment making everyone in the lobby so angry. They need to hire more staff or just replace what they have. read more

It's sad to see these guys have such low ratings! My experience was outstanding. Let's be honest it's so hard to get an early morning appointment due to most appointments, one must fast. I finally was able to score a 10:40 am appointment. Score! Unfortunately, there isn't anyone to get you checked but a tablet where you check yourself in. It's not very personable if you ask me. I NEED human interaction. Check-in was pretty damn smooth. When the young lady noticed my test had to be done before she was apologetic and asked me to come the next day at 7am. I was able to make the next day due to that thing called work! I arrived Friday morning at 6:50am. Folks were always arriving so early. I checked myself in and got the attention of staff to ensure they would even see me since I didn't really have an appointment. The young lady and man were able to get me in right away even though they had a full lobby! Major score!! The phlebotomist was very friendly and kept asking if I was doing okay. Because I am special, I had to have lots of blood drawn. All and all my experience was outstanding! Having them close to home is another plus! read more

Quest has a real issue with customer service in general and I'm on a mission to request to my providers that they give me an alternative from here on out. Faith was fantastic! Personable, fun to chat with, let me know cost to me after insurance payment to make sure she was ok to proceed, very conscientious. Great job drawing blood too - most have a hard time finding a vein but she hit it the first time! Highly recommend the CP location! My experience at Quest in Cameron Park today couldn't have been more perfect! I arrived for my 7:20 AM appointment 15 minutes early and they sent me a text with a link to check in 10 minutes before the appointment. So you wait in the privacy of your car. Once I clicked on the check-in button I was called in just a few minutes later by a very friendly and pleasant Casey. She confirmed my information and located my doctor's orders, which had been sent 3 months earlier. Then Casey told me to wait in one of the blood draw rooms and she would be there soon. She showed up just a minute later and drew my blood in what seemed like seconds. I was done with my appointment just BEFORE 7:20 AM and on my way home. This is literally the best medical experience I have ever had. I will use Quest from now on for all my blood work. Thank you so much Casey! read more

I have never experienced such attitude until now. I am 78 yrs. and have diabetes. I was not asking to be seen then I just wanted help to make sure I had help getting an AM appointment as it was for fasting. I was told by previous employees to do this. The two people there were unwilling to budge on helping me. I don't understand why you have to hire such nasty people. I've came to this location for blood testing a few times over the last couple months and every time I've done a walk in appointment, I've been in and out within ten minutes and Hannah has taken my blood every time. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. The workers were not only hostile, but there were 3 employees working as I sat in an empty waiting room for thirty minutes. I did not have an appointment however, I was the only patient waiting for half an hour, and there were three empty rooms that I could have been seen in. One of the male employees also was extremely rude to an elderly man who was having trouble with the check in system. The employees were on their phones, visiting with one another, and even refused to acknowledge that the toilet was broken, at a place where they take urine samples. After reading Yelp reviews I was skeptical of this place but due to my limited schedule and their multiple openings, I decided to take a chance. Glad I did! Their online reservation system was easy to navigate and I got an appointment and confirmation shortly thereafter. A receptionist greeted me with a smile and warm welcome as I walked thru the door. As I began to sit in waiting area a technician comes out and calls my name. Two minutes before my appointment time. My rear never touched a in the waiting area. Once inside, the technician was again easy to talk to, pleasant and professional. She asked questions to ensure I was there for tests prescribed by my doctor. One item of note, apparently one test my doctor ordered had recently morphed into either a group of 3 or 6 test regimen. It was all greek to me. To resolve the issue this young lady calls my doctor's office in Los Angeles, right then and there, to get the clarification. Referring to the pending needle poke (which is always unpleasant to me even if it dose not hurt) she states, I will go in slowly so you have less pain and I can be certain to get it right - the first time. I said to myself, "Amen". This was a week ago so unfortunately I forgot her name. Overall, I rate my experience at Quest Cameron Park on Palmer Dr. 5 of 5 Stars. read more

I would strongly recommend not going to this location. They are extremely rude and I feel like they hate their job. The 3 times I've been there they are constantly complaining about patients and cussing. They don't treat you like a person. They did my labs incorrectly and I had to keep going back. They do not have the test equipment they need and are always out of important testing equipment. I will make arrangements to go to a different one even those this is very close to my house. read more

DO NOT BE LATE! I made an appointment over 2 weeks ahead of time and took time off work to be able to make the appointment for my 9 year old son. My appointment was at 2:40. I was exactly 10 minutes late for the appointment due to more than expected Friday, 4th of July traffic. I stood at the desk for 5 minutes before a delivery driver brought a package in and someone came out. The young lady told me they don't do walk ins after 3:00, so I explained that I had an appointment and it wasn't 3:00 yet and I would be happy to wait. She told me no that she wouldn't take him because I was late and there's nothing she could do. I felt like she could have squeezed us in, chatted less about her cell phone ring tone to the person she was helping, or hustled to a bit more to help a child get their blood drawn. As a mother of a child that is having medical issues, it was extremely disappointing to be shown no empathy or flexibility. read more

This was my second visit to this location in the past two weeks and I received terrible customer service both times. I only needed to drop off a specimen today and arrived at 2:58, knowing that the location closed at 3:30. The two gals working sent me away, stating that I would need to come back tomorrow. They also sent away an elderly gentleman who had an appt. but was a few minutes late for it. They were completely inflexible and unsympathetic. Two weeks ago, I arrived at the same time to drop off a specimen, and they lectured me about coming too close to closing. They told me I was lucky that they would accept the drop off. One on the technicians complained the entire time about the Quest organization and the subpar pay she received. I felt extremely unwelcomed and uncomfortable both visits and will go the extra distance to El Dorado Hills, where they welcome you with a smile and caring attitude. read more

I took my father in for blood work and the staff person told me they stopped taking walk-ins 3 mi the ago. She then handed me a card and told me to call. I called the 800# and the message was that appointments were 6 months out. I came in and told her and she said to go in-line. I did and showed her it said walk-ins welcome. She told me that it was a national site and they weren't updating for CA. Horrible service! Really??? I have walked in and gotten service numerous times in the last 2 months and was never told I needed an appointment. If I could give it zero stars I would. No one ever answers the phone, and when you walk in no one greets you, they leave you standing there with no idea what to do. There were 7 people in the waiting room yesterday and only one had ever seen a person. He had been waiting over an hour. I waited 15 minutes and when no one came out to even acknowledge me I left. My doctor told me to take my urine sample over to Quest Labs. Since there is a Quest office in my town, I took it there. There was only one person staffing the Cameron Park office. Quest has you use an automated system to copy insurance cards and DL. OK, so I used it. Quest wanted me to wait 3 hours to drop off my sample. No way am I going to wait around to drop off a specimen. Therefore, I took one of their business cards, wrote pertinent information on it and left it at the window. A few hours later a tech called me saying the specimen did not contain enough urine. When I told the doctor he called BS on Quest to me. IMO, Quest is not staffing their offices properly. They seem to be overworking their staff at a great disadvantage to patients. Fire the management and start over. read more

I do not normally make review, much less, bad reviews, but I am so disappointed in this Quest that I felt the need to let other people know. I am a college student unable to live on campus without my test results. Quest told me at first it would be 3-5 days. That time limit passed. Then, they told me 6-8 days. That has passed as well. I've explained that I literally CANNOT live on campus until I get my results. There seems to be a lack of care at this particular Quest. I've asked how to get my results and it's like they do their best to rush me out the door and do not try to help. I do not recommend this Quest Diagnostics at all. read more

WOW been sitting here for the last 25 minutes and watched this employee at the front desk TOTALLY IGNORE the elderly folks fighting to use their touch pad check in system. No compassion at all with this woman at the front desk. Then I get called up, only to be told you need to take a seat it'll be another 5, 20, 15 minutes. Then this heavy set employee yells for this frail elderly woman . I get called back found out my phlebotomist was named Robin she was much more personable than the one at the desk. As I'm walking out here she is on a cell phone rolling her eyes and just not being remotely nice to the poor elderly patient at 5he front window. What is WITH QUEST DIAGNOSTICS if you don't like what you're doing don't take it out on those who are their the get their lab work done. this place use to be pleasent to come when getting lab work isn't so pleasant. I have had blood drawn there twice this year. The second test was supposed to be a do over because I did not fast properly the first time. I confirmed this with the second visit. Now my physician says that the second test wasn't a repeat of the first test and I'm upset. I attempted to call the facility but your phone service has nothing but automation. Do I call and pretend that I'm a physician or nurse? Why don't you have a number where I can call them and confirm exactly what kinds of blood tests that I got both times? Hiding from your customers and not taking a call is a terrible policy! read more

Everyone here is quick and professional. I get smiles from the staff, theyre very friendly. Have been for years. Note to new people: Go to the touch screen displays near the entrance. Sign in. And wait. it takes no more than a minute to put your name, birthdate, and what your reason for your appointment. The wait is short. They are quick and professional. Older people dont know to use the touch screens so if youre waiting tell them to login using those and not wait forever at the front desk because nobody will be there. read more

Will not ever go back. I'll drive farther to a different location. I followed their printed directions, which said to give my phone number to the attendant. There was nobody there. I waited & was finally called back to a room, and then yelled at for not following the directions. I told her I was doing exactly what their directions said. She said, Well, you're not supposed to be standing in the waiting room. Very angry attitude. Then she JAMMED, I mean JAMMED, the needle in my arm. It was the most painful blood draw I've ever had (and I get them done often). This person obviously hates her job & shouldn't be working with the public. Very sad. read more

I made a mistake in scheduling an appointment at Cameron Park Quest. I fully acknowledge it was my error. That said, someone at the lab could have been helpful. Here's what I experienced- My 94 year old WWII vet and I waited 30 minutes in the lobby and heard numerous voices from behind the door chatting and laughing. Never during that 30 minute wait did we see an employee. When one finally rolled out, we were abruptly told no walk in's and that there were at least 8 people in front of us. There was just one name ahead of us on the sign in the lobby, as well as just one name after us. I kindly and calmly explained I made a mistake in scheduling, and asked if she could she work us in during the lull in patients. NO. This man gave up his senior year of high school to help you have the life you have and you refused to help him? Try spending a portion of the time you spend on your hair on human kindness. Your patients, who contribute to your pay check, will thank you. Practice kindness and professionalism. You will likely feel much better. QUEST - DO NOT bother responding to this. Your words are meaningless. How unfortunate that Quest is cutting hours and closing locations. Perhaps you'd consider a few more labs with extended hours and additional training for your staff. I miss the fabulous staff from the East Bidwell location. Those ladies were the best. Cameron Park Quest, I am only selecting one star to get this posted. read more

I can't say enough great things about Tracy at Camron Park Quest. She is always polite and attentive to my needs. She is the only person there that can find my veins the first time every time. Although the other staff members try to find my veins, after three unsuccessful try's I'm told I have to come back, which is not easy for me. I am very relieved when I walk in and see Tracy there. She is an asset to Quest and the medical community. read more
