Also tried the online appointment change system since apparently I was scheduled an appointment yet received no call, text or email about it. Went to change it to an actual time I was available and online kept changing it to a different location. I would say I've called 7 times now getting nowhere so I'm going to have to go elsewhere. Hope people aren't dying while waiting for appointments here.

Having my own experience with independent labcorp offices in Orange County, they are notorious for being busy, unorganized, a bit unsanitary, and sometimes, unskilled phlebotomists. However, this LabCorp location in Camarillo, in Ventura County, is quite the opposite. The office is inside a business building. I had to navigate through the paper signs with arrows within the office like a scavenger hunt to find it. Quite fun but not as professional. Speaking of not being professional, there was an emergency, hence they emailed me to come early because they will shut down the office in the afternoon. I would normally get upset, but in this case, I'm glad I went earlier because the whole experience from start to finish took about 5 minutes top! It's the fastest, painless blood draw I've ever had in my life. The receptionist who greeted me at the front desk is also the phlebotomist! She was really efficient with her job because I just handed her the order form, and she took care of everything! (Of course, I filled out most of my information online prior to coming when making an online appointment, but regardless, this is the quickest intake I've ever had). She was a skilled phlebotomist because I barely felt the needle going in. By the next day, I already had my blood result! Every Labcorp, nay, any blood draw place should take after this model. This is a one-employee-run office that runs circles around a full office where no one gets anything done.

She is the only person who can draw blood without hurting me. She is the sweetest, kindest, woman you will ever meet and is always a pleasure to talk to - she eases your mind and makes you very comfortable and relaxed. If ever I get a lab slip to another place (like Quest), I have my doctor give me a generic one specifically so I can go to Primex. There is never any wait! She's in the little beige building directly to the left of the drive up liquor store on Loma Vista across from CMH. (see attached picture) Also, just an FYI, I love this place so much that I created this Yelp listing because it is impossible to find this location online. I want everyone to know how great it is!
