My employer ordered a lab, and I scheduled an appointment. Logistically, if the specific lab I was having drawn couldn't be done on a Saturday, I should have been notified when scheduling it, so I could have rescheduled it - before driving 20 mins there, waiting for 20 mins, and driving 20 mins home.

I had to schedule routine labs through my PCP and had trouble finding available appointments elsewhere. I was able to get a Saturday morning apportionment here just a few days after I scheduled it. I arrived and checked it easily at a kiosk by scanning a QR code I received when I scheduled the appointment. Two minutes later I was called back and the nurse went over my paperwork. The nurse was extremely friendly and bubbly and just made me so at ease about being stabbed in a few minutes. She took me to the next room, chatting the whole time. In less than 5 minutes the whole appointment was complete. Quick, efficient, and easy! I really appreciated it!

It is so convenient I live in Hopewell and they have a office right up the street 5 minutes from my home along with 4 other locations in Beaver, Sewickley, Chippewa and Calcutta, OH. They also started a quick care clinic and as long as you have the app and have filled out a form if your child is sick you can go on there and schedule your child a sick appointment early in the morning, I think as early as 8 a.m. Their Beaver office also has late hours during the week and Saturday morning hours which is very convenient if you work a 9 to 5 and need to take your children to the doctors.

The office is easy to find on Smithfield street, extremely convenient for those who work/live downtown, and the facilities while not super modern they indeed are clean and in good condition. The staff is friendly, although a little "young" as far as the assistants so sometimes it feels they're less thoughtful and mindful than what you'd expect for a medical office. Granted it is neat to see the trainees learning on the job since these will be the medical providers who'll be taking care of us down the road. Dr. Essig is a quirky gentleman. He's succinct and to the point but at the same time he takes his time to analyze all you have to say or point out. A lot of times with DR's I have felt they just rush through the appointment ... so far Dr. Essig has been good about how long he takes to do an appointment. Sometimes they are shorter than I thought they'd be and sometimes he really took his time ... in hindsight he's been spot on. Good location. Good staff. And good experiences so far make it so that I'll definitely be returning in the future if I need to see a PCP.

Dr. Abrams practices out of UPP Family Medicine on Wilkins Avenue in Sq Hill…read more Assigning a practice a number of stars is one thing but you should know that I trust Dr Abrams enough to have recommended him to SEVERAL of my own friends. In fact, he just delivered my friends baby boy this past summer! I like UPP Family Medicine bc it is a one stop shop for me in terms of medical care. There are four dr's at this practice, and while they do general family medicine they also do ob/gyn care and Dr. Xiao is my gynecologist and she is FANTASTIC. She's got the best bed side manner, my visits with her never feel rushed and she takes time to answer my questions, and (look away boys) she is a fantastic gyno and her exams are FAST AS HELL. Everyone hates their yearly exam. Dr. Xiao is like a ninja. By the time you start thinking about how much the exam sucks, it is over! Dr Xiao is also the first physician I've ever had to call me just to see how I was feeling and ask if I had any questions about or problems with a new medication I'd recently started to take. If you know anyone who is looking for a new physician, I cannot more highly recommend UPP Family Medicine. This practice is not just 5 stars good, its good enough that I recommended it to my own family members and friends. It's easy to get an appointment, the location is convenient, the staff is friendly, your appointments will not feel rushed and you will receive proper, thorough medical care. (also all the magazines in the office are new, nothing is worse than having to read through a two year old copy of Family Circle)

I delivered my first son 3 years ago and could not have asked for better pediatricians. Anytime my sons are sick, they always squeeze us in the same day-- which is great because nothing is worse than a sick baby! My sons are at ease with both doctors and the staff. Dr. Ortiz is very bubbly and expressive and Dr. Macabobby is so sweet and has a calming nature. Both doctors are extremely caring and respectful of a parent's wishes. I never feel rushed through a visit and they always address any concerns I may have.
