However, at 02:30 PM, I was taken to another exam room to wait for the doctor, and at 03:35, I finally left the exam room to ask the front desk when I was going to see the doctor since I had to go next door for a Physical Abilities Test before they closed, and I live over an hour away, so it would be ridiculous to have to drive back to this location to finish an exam that I checked in for at 01:00 PM. I told a person named Juan that I had been waiting for the doctor for over an hour, and he said, "Uh huh... sure you have," and turned around to face his computer. So I said, "'Uh huh, sure'? That's how you're going to talk to me?", and he said, "What're you gonna do about it?", in front of 5 or 6 female employees, who were nowhere nearly as bit*chy as Juan. So I said, "What am I gonna do about it!?", and the doctor who was sitting around with the staff chatting it up took me back into my room, and the doctor told me that I was being disrespectful, so I asked him how on Earth was I being disrespectful, and he said, "You're obviously slow." The doctor told me that I was "slow." At this point, I popped off. I told the doctor he was disgusting, unprofessional, etc. I don't even know what I said after that. Then the room got quiet, and he was shaking and stuttering and was like, "Well you're the one who's upset, my heartrate isn't even elevated." Bro what? He was setting paper down on imaginary surfaces while his hands were shaking. I submitted a formal complaint through the Concentra website on 01/14/2026. I haven't heard back from them about how I got mobbed by a bunch of Hispanics/Latinos... at a Border Patrol Agent medical appointment.

Where as a VSP member my insurance was supposed to go further with agreed pricing, rebates, and discounts. I got nothing! First off the front end staff were all rude and monotoned. They did not even blink their eyes. That's a bad sign meaning they are going to give you rehearsed lines and screw you. When it was time to pay for everything they wanted $60 for the exam and $160 for a half year of contacts. For a year everything would have cost over $400 after insurance. I am doubly covered. Well covered. Every other place that I have been to with VSP agreed pricing and discounts I would only pay under $40 for everything. If I include glasses every thing would have been just under $100! With my child he took time to observe how the teeth were shifting and wanted to be sure it was a solid recommendation first. By the time you're asked about color, size, or shape -- you're already weeks into the process, and making changes will push things back even further. This should be discussed much earlier. Worst of all, just four days after getting my new dentures, I was out of state on vacation and two teeth snapped off during my first real meal -- a bacon cheeseburger. My temporary set lasted five years with zero problems. These $3,500 dentures lasted less than a week and completely ruined my trip. They did repair them with no hassle when I returned, but gave me no confidence it wouldn't happen again. Very disappointed. I'll be saving up to go elsewhere. If you go here, keep a tight grip on your warranty -- you'll probably need it.
