I gave two stars only because the staff at the Tacoma branch were kind and doing their best, despite clearly being stretched thin -- likely a management issue. I paid for the "Ultimate" dentures hoping for a premium product, but what I got felt more like dollar store quality. After a bad experience at the Silverdale location, I decided to upgrade to the Ultimate option in Tacoma, thinking it would be worth it for my upcoming holiday. Unfortunately, the customization they advertise is practically meaningless unless you have months to spare. By the time you're asked about color, size, or shape -- you're already weeks into the process, and making changes will push things back even further. This should be discussed much earlier. Worst of all, just four days after getting my new dentures, I was out of state on vacation and two teeth snapped off during my first real meal -- a bacon cheeseburger. My temporary set lasted five years with zero problems. These $3,500 dentures lasted less than a week and completely ruined my trip. They did repair them with no hassle when I returned, but gave me no confidence it wouldn't happen again. Very disappointed. I'll be saving up to go elsewhere. If you go here, keep a tight grip on your warranty -- you'll probably need it. read more

I have told them but they keep telling me I have work the dentures so I got second opinion and another dentist said that they were not made correctly and that is why they will not snap onto my implants. they advertise implants starting at $1440, this is only half the job, since it only includes installing the peg to mount the replacement tooth. Kind of a scam since who would abide having only the metal peg??? They should be more truthful in their advertising, most others providing implants state that it includes the abutment and crown. read more

I would give them no stars at all if I could. I had prepaid $4,700 in July 2024 and ended up not having the procedure done. It is now February 2025 and I still am unable to get them to return my money. I get the run around when I call the office about how they can't return my money themselves it needs to go through financial but when asked for the contact number they told me to call 1-800- dentist which just sends me to an appointment setup recording. When I finally was able to get someone on the phone all he could do was take a message and they would get back to me within 24 hours. A week later I received a message with a womens contact information. I have yet to get her to answer one of my phone calls or return my messages. It is beyond frustrating. They told me it was going to be 4-6 weeks until I got my money back. It's been 16 weeks and counting since I first requested my money back. read more

My client has had issue with this business not calling her back to fix the dentures she had recently bought there, she has been calling for 5 months now leaving messages to have them do an adjustment as she can't wear the denture as it rubs and has been causing sores. It's been a fairly disappointing experience for a disabled person on a fixed income to buy teeth but now has to have her food put in a blender just to be able to eat, I feel they took her money and left her out to dry, and it years for her to save up for the new denture being on disability fixed income, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone in the future as they do not respond to the customers concerns and don't seem willing to fix them so she can eat. read more

This office is a joke. I paid up front for everything, since they didn't process claims with insurance. they say they are not set up for it. I got the paperwork to submit to my insurance. co. to be reimbursed. well since the dentist is a contract provider with insurance they sent my money to them directly instead of to me. they have had my money for 11 days. called them and claim they are sending it back to my insurance. I feel this is fraud. The partials don't even fit right even going back telling them. yes they are the temps since the real partials will not be ready for 6 to 9 months. hmm that 100 day guarantee that goes out the window since they stall and don't guarantee. in short they don't do what they say they will do end up with my money plus extra money from my insurance. Do not go to this place. I should have read reviews before going here. This is incredibly unbelievable. I'm here at the office with a friend who just had oral surgery yesterday. We're here for a 7am follow-up appointment which we and they verified. I went to Affordable Dentures Tacoma for a full set of dentures and paid a few months wages for them, they came with an immediate and permanent set. I got the temporary set and went back two times to get my permanent set and they refused me. Life got too hectic to make the 2.5 hour drive and whole day off work then covid happened. Now I call to make appointment and they say its been too long I can't get them then they tried to convince me I signed off on them(?). But I didn't they said they'd get back to me but hung up before I could tell them my number changed and now they don't answer at all. Jan 2021....Affordable Dentures only promise a great smile....and the dentures do look nice. However they are not functional. Trying to chew with these dentures is almost impossible. I went and had them fitted because the lower plate hurt very badly. I had the tech three times trying to get the fit right....and all of a sudden lunch time came....my tech left for lunch...and some office worker came in and told me I was done...and enjoy my day. Please consider another denture business. This place takes your money....2570.00 and does not explain their procedures.. Or make sure you are a satisfied customer. These people are impossible to get ahold of. I have asked for a refund on my bottom denture ( that I don't even need since it is only 3 teeth and one of them is for a tooth that wasn't pulled so it does not fit right ) for over a month now and for reimbursement of the tooth they charged me for but did not pull. I have called over and over and keep getting dodged. I should've gotten a call back by now. Highly unprofessional. I paid in full with cash and i'm extrememly disappointed. I escorted my mother to this office today. It was horrible. They took X-rays and without viewing them told us they needed to extract all of her teeth. Without even looking in her mouth the dentist Beverly gave her recommendations and asked if we had any questions. I asked several questions and to each was given the answer, "it depends on the patient". I asked other patients and they weren't happy either so we went to a regular dentist. He gave my mom an exam and antibiotics for her infection. Please don't be like me and waste your time and $120. read more

I went to the Affordable Dentures in west Olympia but since they're not listed on yelp I'm putting my experience here. The dentist was very rude, first he chidded me for using the term TMJ, including swearing, he quite obveously dosen't know very much about dentistry (he told me I had a SEVER underbite, and I don't have an underbite at all) and as i struggled to tell him about my teeth he repeatedy told me he couldn't do my dentures. I told him that I needed them to work and there was no other place I could get them in a timely mannor. He used this to scare me into buying a higher priced denture paackage my telling me that if i didn't buy the higher priced package the dentures wouldn't work. This was a complete lie. He was extreamly manipulative and condecending, If I could sue him I would, but I'm a low income disabled single mother, and I was ripped off by Affordable Dentures for hundreds of dollars. I will say that the other staff was really nice and the dentures fit great and were of great quality. The staff was warm and friendly and great customer service however because a recent move to the area I transferred all my files to the Tacoma office and all I can say was BIG mistake. I wish I could give a negative star review. I traveled to this place 100+ miles from my home (which I made them aware of repeatedly). The allure of fast turn around, and of course their claims of confidence and a "great smile" is what got me there. HUGE mistake GIGANTIC. Promised same day turn around I showed up early morning a lady in the waiting room was causing a huge disturbance. She was screaming at staff and the entire wait room. The end? Well she was removed by the police. That is not something the business can control this I understand, however this set back appointments and my same day turned into me coming back another day. Fine stuff happens. Today I make the long ass trip down to their office again. Temporary fit hurt like heck and they screwed it up too. This meant though I was prepared to stay all day AGAIN I still wouldn't walk out with what I paid for the first day. I got a refund yet not one damn apology or acknowledgement from the doctor there. The nurse was nice and understanding. They should pay for my time, mileage, babysitter and everything else I had to bend over backwards to get there but that might be my current state of anger. You absolutely get what you pay for, like I said substandard material and craftsmanship result in cheap dentures. Customer service is more than lacking. The staff, after arguing with me saying that I broke the Dentures by dropping them or something, is completely not the truth I was actually eating sushi and bit down and shattered the bottom denture. I had to drive an hour and 50 minutes this morning to make a 7:45 appointment. They knew that I was trying to get out of there quickly so I did not have to sit in traffic for 3 hours driving back to Arlington. So for an hour or less to fix my dentures at 8:15 a.m. in the morning they told me I could come and get my dentures at 2:30 in the afternoon. This is completely preposterous even though they knew that I had to drive a long way to get there they made no effort to get me in and out for the repair. If I could leave them and negative 10 I would. The office manager is more than rude on the phone. They simply could have had me mail in the dentures and fix them and send them back to me. Instead I had to waste over three and a half hours of my time for them to have me sit there all day. I was extremely apprehensive about seeing a new dentist and very afraid of multiple extractions and same day dentures. My appt was dec 3, only took a week to get in when i called for appointment. All staff was professional, courteous and informative. Dr goodman, dental assist and front office staff incredibly caring, patient and gentle. My extractions were much more complicated than originally thought and they could have charged me more but they honored our original agreement. In addition to a thorough and complete job, I believe the staff even stayed late to ensure that my denture fit was/is perfect. I opted for premium dentures and the price was more than fair. Staff was compassionate and truly top notch. Best experience at dentist and will recommend office to all. read more

Avoid at all costs. I went in for teeth extractions prior to getting a denture (which was supposed to be an immediate denture). The dentist there decided that he wasn't comfortable pulling my teeth and sent me to an oral surgeon (which cost me three times as much), then they gave me the wrong appointment day, and finally when I showed up this morning, I found out that the dentist has been out for two weeks, but they haven't been calling patients to let them know. Instead they've been letting everyone show up each day to tell them. And the woman at the front counter looked at her computer and said "I don't know what to do" about all the appointments that have already been pushed back. Seriously? In two weeks you haven't tried to come up with a solution? Like, say, CONTACTING the clients with upcoming appointments and advising them of the situation before they waste a forty-mile round trip and an unpaid day off work? Because of these delays I was unable to get an immediate denture and must spend between two and six months without teeth, unable to properly eat, barely able to talk, and embarrassed to be seen in public. And I was not offered an apology at all. The gal at the front counter shrugged and said "I don't know what to tell you." If she had been apologetic or caring and concerned about my well-being, I might have given them another chance. As it is, between the bad customer service and the poor hand-washing and some dirty-looking instruments, I'm happy to leave them a poor review, and I recommend that anyone considering a denture should not go to a mass-production shop that obviously does not care about the individuals they serve. The ability to get same-day dentures is not worth this. read more
