Used the automated system to cancel my first appointment with Dr. Waterman - 3 days before my…read morescheduled appointment (On Monday - my appointment was Thursday). Clearly the system didn't work as I got a form letter regarding my 'no show'. However - what really upset me was the personalized note I received at the bottom of the form letter: "We are very busy in the clinic and need appointment slots for other patients. We appreciate that you not make appointments you can't keep" It was signed by Dr. Waterman - not sure if she or her office wrote the note. Either way it was in bad form to write a shame note at the bottom for a new patient. I will definitely not be seeing her/or anyone at pacific hill if this is the way they treat new / existing patients. Their systematic mishap/bug results in a personalized nasty gram? Not that their office cares as they are so busy. Its hard enough to find a doctor, let alone one you can trust - not going to trust someone who felt the need to shame me before meeting me- or doing their homework that their systems were down. Pretty sure that is why Form Letters exist - to avoid someone writing their own personal feelings and making customers (because its America, we pay for treatment) angry or feel as though they can't entrust the individuals in who we place our most intimate needs.

Dr. Waterman was recommended to me by my former boss when I needed a new doctor, and both my…read morecoworker (at the time) and I both ended up seeing her... so our entire office was getting treated by Dr. Waterman. For good reason! She is friendly, very intelligent, and I feel comfortable speaking with her about any concerns or questions without it being awkward. It also helps that things are explained in ways that make sense, not in a bunch of medical gobbledygook. Sometimes she is a little hard to schedule, as she is obviously very busy, but she is competent and definitely someone I would recommend.

Dr. McDermott is the best!!! She takes normally awkward and borderline uncomfortable appointments…read moreand situations and makes them humorous to put you at ease! I've had many visits and a few procedures done by her and she has always been beyond great at explaining things to me without dumbing things down too much (I work in the medical field). Her assistant is also very very sweet (Jennifer I think is her name) and always remembers me!

I switched to her as my OB when my previous OB left the practice. I'm so happy I did. She gives me all the information I need, took her time with me and makes me feel really relaxed and comfortable at every visit. Her personality isn't typical of most Doctors I've been to and I like that about her...not arrogant or condescending in the least (unlike what others have stated on other med. review sites). She was on-call when my Son was born in 2010 and I'm pretty sure she saved his life. He had decided to do acrobatics while I was in labor and went from the perfect positioning to transverse to sunny side up which caused his umbilical cord to wrap around his neck twice - very tightly. It was so tight that even though he was about to be all the way out, his cord chocked him and held him back. She, without hesitation was able to wiggle her fingers under the cord with just enough room to cut both loops free (this is what happened as told by my husband). She came and checked on us the next day and was genuinely concerned with how we were all doing. Also, the amazing L&D Nurse we had loves her and had nothing but good things to say about her. I have since seen her for an IUD, annual exams and my second pregnancy. She's been a wonder. I think when deciding on an OB-GYN one needs to be very choosy about personality and style, of not just the Dr you're checking out but the entire practice (all the Dr's there), to make sure it's a good fit.

Dr Troiano has been my doctor for 9 months. I can not recommend her to anyone. I very much liked…read moreher at first but now realize that either she can not care about her patients at all, or she knowingly works for a clinic that does not care for its patients. She came off strong and sounded like she knew what she was doing. Yet she overdosed me with a med the first month out, I am blind and she changed my meds dosage and did not tell me. She was asked the first visit if she could refer me to an oncologist for cancer followup, it took her 8 months and she could not do it, I finally found an oncologist myself and had to beg for her to send the referral, this also happened with diabetes followup, and other referrals, she never once got a referral the first, second or third time asking, and she constantly sent you to the wrong people, I was giving a referral to prostate cancer, I am female and had breast cancer. She refused for months to set up my meds in script talk a reasonable accommodation for blind individuals. Between her and the pharmacist it took 7 months, once it was finally done, the doctor asked me to bring all the meds I finally got after waiting for 7 months to her office, where her nurse stole them, they all disappeared never to be seen again and no one will say what happened, and it has been 7 weeks and I still don't have replacements for those meds. The list of incompetence with this doctor and her staff is so high, I can not recommend her to anyone, or this whole office and staff.

I will avoid this office if I can help it from now on. I would like to start by saying I am writing…read morethis review not for the doctor himself but his office staff. I was set to have my 20-week ultrasound at this office as per my midwife's request. (This is the ultrasound I've been dying to see since I got my positive pregnancy test). The office called me the day prior to the appointment to ask me to move the appointment up to an earlier time. I informed them I could not do that since my husband and I both work more than an hour from the office and took the late appointment for a reason. I also asked them to make a note on my chart that I may be late due to the long drive and traffic. When I arrived for my appointment (within the 15 minute grace period) I was informed that my ultrasound tech had left for the day when I did not arrive precisely on-time for check out. THEY HADN'T EVEN TRIED TO CONTACT ME before she left!!!!! The office staff did not apologize for their unprofessionalism and even tried to say that because we spoke on the phone the day prior that had been my warning to be on-time. I stood there swelling with pregnancy hormones ready to cry out of frustration, anger, and complete disbelief at what was happening, and these women acted as though this was just standard day at the office. Like canceling appointments without informing the patient is normal and ok, especially pregnant ladies! Then when trying to reschedule they informed me the ultrasound should only take about 15 minutes as if that would make me feel better about driving an hour to their office. In order to make any appointment close to 20 weeks, I was going to have to take a day off work, meaning fewer days I get to spend when my baby arrives all for a 15-minute appointment!?! I was able to get a next day appointment at a time convenient to me at a Northwest Laboratories office where we spent close to an hour (not 15 minutes) looking at my beautiful baby. I have since called to get confirmation that I will not be charged for my "tardiness" and received no response.

My husband and I found Dr Raisis to be very friendly, respectful and great bedside manner. I am very, very picky about who my doctors are, and I immediately felt very comfortable with Dr Raisis. In the recovery room I heard staff talking about him, and they had nothing but good things to say about him. In my book, if medical staff speaks highly of a doctor, that is who I'm going too see! Dr Pritchett made a good choice!! Two wonderful doctors, and this morning, I'm sore but no real pain!! I was told to expect lots of pain post op...doesn't seem to be happening! And I credited those two doctors and the great staff at Swedish Ortho Insitiute!!

I don't live in Seattle anymore so this review is rather overdue, but I am currently reviewing my…read morerecords from Dr. Raisis and his colleague Dr. Steege, which reminded me I wanted to review them here. Dr. Raisis in particular was completely disinterested in my case; he was never receptive to anecdotes that would help explain my symptoms (in fact, he outright said he had never seen my particular issue in his career, when in fact it is a fairly common issue and relatively easy to see on diagnostic images, according to information I've gathered and surgeons I've met in the meantime). For a few years I defended him, saying that while his bedside manner was terrible, he was a good "mechanic." That changed when I was diagnosed and treated for a rare infection that Dr. Raisis had neglected to warn me was a possibility of the last surgery he had done on me. In fact, Dr. Steege had seen me while I was trying to get a diagnosis, and he correctly guessed what was wrong but dismissed me saying that couldn't be the case. By the time my infection was diagnosed, there was an imminent threat of kidney failure (yes, stemming from a neuro issue!). I would not recommend Dr. Raisis or his colleague Dr. Steege. Terrible customer service, and negligent doctors with little interest in cases they do not find compelling.

I took my daughter to have an initial examination with this doctor I was in the room due to my daughter being so nervous and anxious This doctor was inadequate and didn't do a good job at all. Then when I asked at front if she was going to order any labs or update my daughter vaccinations the front person said she didn't ordered anything and that she needed to come back for a initial examination bc she was going to do that next appt. What?!! Right?! I was very disappointed of how she handled the exam like downplaying any concerns my daughter had. Saying that a test such an an MRI was too expensive to do etc I really wanted my daughter to have a good experience but it didn't happened. She treated her poorly and made assumptions about her when my daughter came in with PPO insurance. It was discriminatory and bias at least. So dissatisfied and disappointed and people such as these should not become physicians. I booked another appt for my daughter with another doctor there who did my exam and who was a profesional. This is just so sad
