The food isn't bad. It does feel very "nickle and dimey" when you're ordering and everything is extra. Don't want rice? Want more veg? Extra. Little bit of guac on that burrito? Extra. Extra Extra Extra. The churros were legitimately atrocious.
The staff are not at all well trained. They a) Didn't ask if we wanted anything to drink before telling me what the bill was, b) didn't ask if we wanted anything else (we did, tortilla chips and queso) and just tried to push us off.
Ambiance? Meh. This location does not have a lot of family friendly seating, which is a challenge. We had our four year old with us and he fell off the stool because of course he did. All the stools are tall and backless. We were watching closely so when he leaned back I caught it quick, I tried to save him and ended up on the floor and hurting myself. No one batted an eye. With only one table with three seats already in use, we didn't have much of a choice for this seating either.
When we both were on the ground, not a single employee asked if we were okay or checked in. Kind of an awful feeling, particularly when there is a child involved.
I won't be back. read more
