You can choose 3 taco fillings ranging from pork, to shrimp, to veggies. Spitting this taco platter between 3 people is recommended so that each person gets 4 tacos. The tacos are stuffed! Not overly greasy. The shrimp was slightly overly salty which wasn't unbearable but definitely not ideal. The pastor and carne asada were standard yet delicious. I've never seen this before but the tacos were topped with fries. Necessary, no. Welcomed and novel, yeah. The ceviche was tangy and limey, having the characteristic "slightly touch" citrus cured texture without being cooked. I think for $20, the value here was a little lacking with the amount they gave but seafood is more expensive so not complaining too much. The single a la carte tacos are larger than the street tacos in the taco platter. They're almost twice the size of the smaller street tacos. Pretty much the same as their smaller counter parts except larger and the tortillas are doubled up to support more meat and filling. 2, maybe 3 of these large tacos should be enough for a meal. Overall, $13 for 2 a la carte large tacos seems pretty good for a meal. I'd recommend splitting the taco platter with 3 people $14/person so you can sample 3 different choices of fillings and have guac included. Good place to get a taco fix and share food with friends!

Now, the food. There is nothing like good tacos, but variety is important. Pastor is guaranteed. However, for those curious - "cabeza" and "carnitas" are on spot. They also have good ol' greasy gorditas. Ask if they have chicharron. These delicacies go straight to the heart and clog your arteries with love and deliciousness. When I was about to ask where to pick up my order, the employee responded with, "Did you look over there?" with an unnecessary attitude. Then when I went to grab the order, the other employee couldn't even hand me the food, I literally had to lean over the counter to get it myself. No thank you, no smile, no basic customer service. What really made this experience unacceptable was finding foreign objects in our food. My girlfriend found what appeared to be a piece of wood in one of her tacos and thankfully noticed it before biting into it. Then I found a long piece of hair in my burrito. At that point, it was honestly disgusting. I work as a videographer with restaurants and have eaten at many different places, and my girlfriend also does food reviews, so we experience a lot of restaurants. This was easily one of the worst experiences we've had. Bad service, disappointing food, and serious issues with what we found inside our meals. I definitely won't be coming back.
