Older grandson had wings, and they were so spicy that he kept running out of water and we had to ask for more water a couple times. I had a combo with a cheese enchilada, which was good but surprising because it was topped with seasoning instead of sauce, and a chimichanga which was very good. Middle grandkids shared a chicken basket. I'm somewhat mobility impaired and the choice of seating was the patio, which is all high-tops, which don't work for me, or upstairs and there was no elevator. The last time I went the waiter said the wings are the best thing on the menu. And they probably are. They are REALLY good. We got Buffalo and a sweet and spicy dry rub. Both excellent. The main course for me recently was just meat. Brisket and ribs. Both were fine. They were cold. I was full from ribs and endless root beer that I barely touched it. I heated it up later via toaster oven and both were excellent. So good location, good food, good service. My wife really enjoyed the Cuban special.

I have no idea why people like it so much. I even tried getting a BURGER and the burger tasted like overly cooked hash browns that nobody put seasoning on. It's nasty. The nachos are even bad. I haven't had food this bad since Hardee's. Or maybe that time my sister had to cook for a food truck fundraiser. Honestly can't believe they replaced a perfect restaurant with this crap. It sucks. The birria tacos had a strong cinnamon flavor we couldn't get past. That was all it tasted like and I just don't like beef that tastes like cinnamon. I did ask the bartender if they used it and she said yes they cook the beef with cinnamon stick and cardamon which gives it that flavor. I asked bc I thought maybe I just got a bad batch. Also we ordered the jalapeno queso, didn't like that either it had a bacon flavoring. The chips were also soaked in grease so they get chewy and a weird texture. The dessert was the saving grace being I was still so hungry bc I couldn't eat the other things. Dessert was great. I would just recommend trying something different else if you go. Or maybe adding the flavor profile on the menu so people are aware before ordering.

There are options to choose from - quesadilla, burrito, bowl, tacos, etc. All orders come with a side of chips and you select your salsa at their salsa station - yes I just said salsa station, that is pretty cool! I don't love building my own items so I wish they had a "base" to add or remove from, but I get the concept. I chose a bowl with rice, black beans, birria - new item, onions, peppers, cheese and sour cream. The bowl was HUGE! I didn't even finish half of it. It was good, but I didn't love the seasoning on the birria sadly... I also tried the chips- crispy and perfect - and all the salsas at the Salsa station. Sadly I didn't really care for any of the salsas, I think it's preference. The restauarant was clean, the employees were friendly and helpful and my experience was quick and casual. So overall I think it's a win. I don't love that the restrooms are directly in front of the entrance door, but not much can be done about that.
