This is a very nice restaurant that serves a delicious variation of the standard Portuguese dishes found at many restaurants throughout the country. The space is small and intimate - reservations would be a good idea. We shared a starter of goat cheese with fig jam and it was delicious. It comes baked in a light filo pastry crust. The tuna steak main course was cooked perfectly- rare on the inside but the sauce was delicately flavored at best. The duck confit, on the other hand, was tender and well seasoned. This was one of our favorite meals on our trip to Lisbon! The service was swift and friendly, food was great, and the decor was cute and cosy. We got 2 glasses of wine, an appetizer, two entrees and a dessert all for just 32 euro. Only complaint is that there are no windows inside- but they did a great job making the space feel comfortable. I'll preface this review by saying I truly believe the food quality was affected by being Christmas and things being 2-4 days old. We saw the awesome reviews and made a Christmas night reservation. The place was cute and the service was great. The wine was awesome. The issue was the seafood. First, the mussels were tough and chewy and just did not taste good. But the biggest issue, and one that cannot be understated, was the lobster and prawns. We ordered the lobster, prawn, and squid ink pasta for two. I­t­ was simply inedible. We've been traveling around Spain and Portugal for 2 weeks and this was the first bad dish we've eaten, again attributed to the Christmas holiday and places being closed. The seafood in the pasta was extremely fishy and smelled. That was the first clue. Also, the sauce of the pasta, which was seafood based, tasted off and "spoiled". I­t­ seemed like everyone else enjoyed their food so I am chalking this up to a random poor event, but if you go and order the lobster, ask if it's fresh. Unforgettable taste! The food was incredible. As a traveler, this was the most delicious Portuguese food for me. I am so glad I just found this spot on Yelp!! I went here while in Lisbon on an extended trip through Europe a few months ago now and was just saying with my traveling companion how that one meal at that place in Lisbon was the absolute best! However we didn't take a business card to get the name!! Great that I found it here so I can share my 5-star review. We had the squid ink linguini with lobster and prawns and it was phenomenal, fresh, and affordable!! One of our favorite restaurants in Portugal. Perhaps, not the most traditional food, but perfectly prepared and presented. Also, it's set up like a wine shop so you may look at the bottles and select one. We had duck confit and turbot - both excellent. The service was excellent. We stayed at a hotel down the road from the restaurant. It was a deserted road, parallel to the main road. We enjoyed that hotel because of the location and it was quiet. The restaurant was not as you'd expect. From the outside, it looked dark and unreliable. It was well-lit inside and the dining hall was small. It looked clean. Food was fantastic and there was no-fuss. You asked for things, things show up without ado. Prices were acceptable. We enjoyed the food very much. Lots of locals there, showed that it's also a local haunt. read more

we had the house salad (prosciuto, melon, mozzarella, greens) and the turbot fish. both dishes were very basic and the salad was very delicios. the fish was ok but nothing more. the enteriour is nice because it's very reduced and not too much fancy stuff. it could be a little bit more cosy though. the service was also ok but not too welcoming. it's definitely ok to go there if you're around but i won't recommend this restaurant to anybody visiting lisboa. read more
